The food here was amazing and full of history! Mike and Loretta Lee the owner's were so welcoming and full of love to their patrons and their food! Nicky our server was so friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a welcoming ambiance with historical pictures on the wall! We had steak, ham and cheese sandwich, and the best cheesecake we have ever had! Definitely a must go if you are in Paola, Kansas. Pronounced Pay-Ole-La. Thank you to everyone at Milo's! Hopefully we get to come back one day.

    14oz ribeye

First time at this place and it was a very nice and clean place. Ordered the 14oz ribeye (medium) with cottage cheese and steamed broccoli. Steak had a great flavor, but was a thin steak. Because of this my medium was a well done, but didn't hurt the steaks tenderness. Cottage cheese was cottage cheese. Steamed Broccoli wasn't steam just warmed up. Waitress was great. Friendly and on her game. I would give the steak a 6.8 and over all would give this place an 7.8. Would go back again and try other foods.

I had my family with me and a lot of the locals stopped by to chat especially to say hi to all my girls- it was so sweet! We were there on a random Friday, and it surprisingly wasn't busy, but I could see it getting crowded on a Saturday morning! It seems like they had a lot of seating though. It was hard to pick what to eat, but I ended up with a classic breakfast and it didn't disappoint! Definitely wouldn't mind stopping by again if I'm in town!

First of all, it should be noted that this is a super popular local spot in Louisburg so be prepared to wait if you roll in on a weekend morning. When we arrived we had to wait a bit but it wasn't bad as the place is bigger than it seems. Once seated we were treated to what I'd describe as homemade comfort food. Miss B's feels very much like small town cafes that I visited around Kansas when I was travelling and working for the state. What stands out here is the friendliness of the staff, especially since we weren't locals, and the variety of food on the menu. Overall this is a great spot to visit if you are in the area. Food is good, folks are friendly, and it gets you into town to explore Louisburg a bit. I'd recommend this place for breakfast or lunch as it's very casual, and the atmosphere definitely lends itself much more to earlier meal times.

And Wagon Wheel is definitely real. Anyone that knows me is aware that I'm a comfort food aficionado. If it's hot, fried, salty, covered in gravy - then most likely I will enjoy it. My tastebuds were thrilled to discover that Wagon Wheel Steakhouse serves the mother lode of comfort food. The first thing you'll notice when you see the servers carrying plates past your table to deliver to other customers is that everything, and I mean virtually everything, is made in house. The regular fries and the curly cue fries are fresh cut. They offer crinkle cut fries too like you can get in some fast food restaurants, but why would you order that when you can get fresh cut? The chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, the pork tenderloins are all hand breaded and fried in the kitchen. Wagon Wheel doesn't serve pre-cut and pre-fried fritters, no sir. As you can see in my picture, my pork tenderloin sandwich was twice the size of the bun, so I cut it in half and took the rest home to eat later - this made my dinner both tasty and cheap as I received two meals for the price of one. There is a small but sufficient fresh salad bar available as well as homemade pie for dessert. A full bar is to the right of the entrance and there are new flat screen TVs all around the dining room. A friend told me Wagon Wheel serves her favorite fried mushrooms and others told me their hamburgers are some of the best around - I can't wait to return and try these, as well as their steaks. When you visit, say hello to my friend the owner Linda Jo. Although she may not be easy to find as she personally spends a great deal of time in the kitchen cooking the food herself. I think you'll agree, her hands-on approach makes the difference at Wagon Wheel.
