We stopped here on the now famous Donut Trail of Butler County. This was our first stop around 10-10:30am and were pretty disappointed with the selection. My kids were super happy with their donuts. One had a sprinkle and the other had a cherry frosted. I opted not to get anything because nothing really spoke to me. I did taste both my kids and I thought they were fine. Very typical donuts. I normally don't like cherry, but I thought the cherry frosting was quite good. If I'm ever in the area again early enough I'd definitely give them a shot again. read more

I've loved Milton's for years and now I'm not sure I'll ever be back. The last few times the glaze donuts just aren't the same. There not bad, just not the Milton's donut we have all loved for years. My business partner used to drive from Centerville for them. Must be a new baking ingredients to save money or something. Owner, you should take notice. Lots of places sell donuts, if you don't have something better you'll loose your long term customers regardless of price. read more

Took part in the Butler County donut trail. If you are not aware of what this entails, it requires that you visit 12 for all 15 mom-and-pop donut shops throughout the county and get a stamp or acquire the nearby geocache. Upon completing 117 miles in roughly 6 hours we came back to the visitation center, present our passport and acquired our T-shirt and completion Coin for 2018. The ability to hit all of these donut shops required proper planning. It was great to see a number of different things throughout our travels. Additionally it was nice to engage with locals and donut shop operators alike. I can tell you that if you do not get here early enough, you will miss out on some of the best concoctions and creative flavors. read more

My family and I visited as part of the Donut Trail. We were very happy! We had a zebra (yeast with chocolate cream filling, white and chocolate frosting), a cinnamon roll, an Oreo, and a deep fried cheese danish. All were tasty, but the Danish was divine. It was crispy, tender and bursting with cream cheese filling. My only complaint--there were no signs saying what each variety was. It was either guess or ask about each variety. read more

I am so in love with this place!!!! I used to work in Middletown and I was craving a donut one day. I personally enjoy the plain cake donuts but will eat all donuts. Saw the reviews online for this shop and not one bad one!!! So I went to check it out... so far my favorite donut shop in Ohio. IF YOU LOVE A SOFT SUGAR COOKIE. The best cookies by far!!!!! I'm giving a two because now when you go at even around 10am they never gave any good doenuts they won't make them I guess there afraid they may make too many and have to throw any away. It's a donut business if you're not going to sell donuts all day long shut it down very disappointed because this was my favorite place to go at 10 a.m. you should have all kinds of donuts I came in the other day and literally there was only seven to ten donuts in the whole store that's not a donut business. read more

Cake (orange frosted orange) - very good, moist but not doughy. The orange frosting was good and not too sweet but overpowered the orange flavor in the donut. I would probably sell the orange donut un-frosted. Cream filled (caramel-frosted round) - Excellent. The donut was perfectly done without any hint of undercooked dough. This type of donut can often be too sweet but the cream filling was well-flavored without being pure sugar. read more

Best donuts in the area! Nothing compares to a Milton's donut! People travel from all over to have their delicious baked goods! They offer a unique twist, called their 'cream cheese donut.' It is divine! It is rich and so moist. Milton's is so popular that they often sell out, so get here early. It's worth the drive, and worth the calories! Our family has always enjoyed Milton's Donuts, but ever since the ownership has changed hands, the quality has taken a turn for the worse. Yesterday, the icing was thin, and the donut itself was stale. We were sadly disappointed. Their slot on the donut trail is shaky at best. read more

I've been eating these donuts all my life! I am the MVP at work when I bring these in. A glass of milk and a glazed twist is like looking in the face of Jesus. Whenever I feel like trash, this is one of my go to pick me ups (either this or a nap.) I can't imagine life without these donuts! (I just did and shed a tear.) Forget your diet. Eat a Milton's donut and stay fat whilst you feast upon it. YOLO, right?!? read more

How can anybody NOT Love Milton's?! I absolutely LOVE Milton's...I don't care if the shop is small, the taste is HUGE! I love Milton's so much, I often treat my colleagues with a dozen at the office.
