First of all reservations do not mean you will have a table reserved. We had a party of 6 and made reservations on a Saturday for dinner at 5:00 and had to wait until a little after 5:30 to get a seat. Then the wait for the food did did not measure up to the quality or expectation. We waited almost 1 hour after ordering our food to get our burgers. The weak and floppy buns do not hold up to the amount of toppings on the burger. The under-cooked "fresh cut fries" have absolutely no salt of flavor other than that of raw potato. When we complained to the manager that we had been waiting over an hour to get our food she just said, " We are working on it" no offer of any compensation. The only thing this place has going for it is their "Classic Cheese Curds." These consist of giant 1.5 inch squares of cheese that are battered and deep fried. Delicious and Greasy. I would only recommend this place if you were going with a friend for beer and cheese curds but nothing more. If you want a tasty burger there are much better places in Appleton that it would be worth the wait for your food. read more

A friend mentioned to go to Milwaukee Burger Company for dinner so we did. As soon as we walked in to the restaurant, I could smell burgers mmmm. So many choices to choose from. Several TV's in the dinning room and music was playing. Waitress came over to asked about drinks so we ordered the drinks. Came back with the drinks and the waitress asked about appetizers but we were there for a meal. Waitress told us about the golf sized cheese curds and of course my friends little one kept saying yes yes yes so we ordered the cheese curds and our meals. Cheese curds were tasting good and then came the food. I ordered the turkey club with gluten free bun and the Wisconsin beer cheese soup and it was looking great. My turkey club was very good. Turkey was nice and thick, avocado was fresh, cheese was melted, bacon was crispy, but very little lettuce and they forgot the onions. The beer cheese soup was OK but I would order a different choice next time. My friend ordered the big Milwaukee challenge and the little guy had mini burgers and fries. My friend said the challenge burger was tasty but couldn't eat it all. The little guy ate his burgers and part of his fries. I tried his fries and those are great fries. Asked for the bill and I don't like getting surprises. My friends little one likes ranch so he prefers ranch vs ketchup or mayo or anything else. His ranch for his fries was $.50 which isn't much of a deal but I wish I knew that. Why is ketchup free but ranch is $.50? Also, my gluten free bun was an extra $1 and I didn't know that either. Actually, the waitress didn't even know if they had gluten free buns or not so I told her if they did not, I told her I'd like a couple slices of lettuce instead of the wheat bun. I ordered the peanut butter jalapeño burger and it was excellent! Never expected I would enjoy the combination but the peanut butter balanced the jalapeño out pretty well. The jalapeños are pretty spicy so if you don't like spicy foods stay away from this choice. The brown sugar bacon on the burger was also a nice addition. I got the side of cheesy hash browns and while the server said she wasn't impressed I thought they were pretty phenomenal. We also ordered the cheese curds and fried pickles. The cheese curds were massive and delicious! The fried pickles could of used thicker slices of pickle but were enjoyable. They have a large selection of different burgers and I wish I could have tried some more of the interesting combinations. I've never had such large (and square) curds, they were more like mozzarella but were amazing, as you bit into them the ooey gooey cheese would pour out forcing you to rotate the curd to keep the cheese inside the breading. The Blueberry Hangover Burger was seriously top 10 burgers I have had in my life. It was breakfast, lunch and dinner in one. Sweet, Spicy, Meaty and so Tasty.
