We got here right at 11 when it opened so service was pretty fast, it did take a little while for appetizers to come out but that's expected when you get there right at opening! Food was all great and as ordered, we do prefer the brat bites from the Hudson location More just because these ones had more batter on them, but still good regardless! There weren't too many people there so it wasn't that loud, they do have the music up pretty loud in the restaurant so I would assume as it gets busier it would probably be a little loud in there, but you could still hear conversation nonetheless. overall good experience! read more

Ordered takeout and although service was great/attentive, the burger wasn't amazing. The milk shake though was the best part of the meal, sadly. The burger was heavy on the salt and a bit too greasy for my taste. Truffle fries were heavy on the parm and also a bit too greasy for me. It is a nice place to watch a game though, but I just didn't have the time to dine in. I'd be down to try something different on their menu next time though... read more

I'm a huge stickler on service as I have been a GM for over 20 years My first visit and MBC wins hands down!!! We walked in and had the luxury of seeing host smiling faces instead of their backsides while they lean over and chat. The service was quick and the teamwork outstanding. 3 different young women were attentive to us. The waitress wasn't overbearing but did a 2-3 bite check back, made sure we had plenty of napkins and stopped back 2 more times b4 the check! Kudos MBC I am impressed! Also the kitchen is obviously on top of it as everything came out hot and quick! AMAZING from start to finish and even a pleasant goodbye as we were heading out the door. Oh as for the food. For a sports bar that was mildly busy at the time (no big game going on and mid-day though but still about half full) service was really fast, nice, and also while walking through was rather noisy with talking and such from other customers, once seated it was really quiet and insulated - very surprising but really good. They were even doing construction on the roof right above us (nail guns replacing shingles) and even that was not loud. Food was great but personally I prefer smaller cheese curds, while I get why these are "our most famous item" and they were very good, I just like to eat the whole thing at once and have a better breading-to-curd ratio. Still, VERY good! I enjoyed the burger I ordered much more though, in fact it is one of the best I've ever had anywhere. We went here for my wife's birthday with a group of 15, our server Jon did an amazing job of taking care of us. Every order was correct and we had one person who wanted a burger that they didn't offer anymore but he said they had everything to make it so they did. Giving 4 stars because I've always had a good experience here until my last visit. I don't go often but do go maybe every few months so I don't know the menu inside and out. My wife and I both ordered entrees and when the waitress named off the sides, she mentioned fries, chips, salads.... Without any sort of pause between each option. We both went with the salads, assuming they were part of the free options with our entrees. Got the bill and they were $5.99 each. I feel like If you're going to offer a side that creates an additional cost, they should warn you about it. This and the fact my son got a Dr Pepper with his kids meal and it cost $3.99 just rubbed me the wrong pay. We won't be back for a while. read more

We visited as part of the Cheese Curd Crawl, and this was our first stop--and it set a high standard. The sampler was AWESOME, with small and massive curds included. Very tasty food! Fun "warehouse" environment. Gorgeous setting along the river with plenty to see on a short walk before or after your meal.

Review update. The menu is occasionally updated. The consistency of the food is way better than it was several years ago. The burgers are delicious and they have quite the variety. The MBC chicken sandwich is a home run! The fries have the skins on and are delicious, nut the cheesy hash brown is a nice side, especially if you want a smaller portion of food. Always service with a smile. The evenings are frequently busy. I like to pop in about 3 pm and sit at the bar. Free popcorn. Buzztime trivia is long gone, but there are plenty of TVs for sports. They are known for their bloody Mary's (Cesare actually, they use Clamato) and Long Island iced tea flights. I go for the great craft beer line up. They have the light fizzy macro beer brands if that's your thing. I like the regular cheeses curds but the cheese cubes are a bit much. We are travelling through Wisconsin on our way to the Sheboygan area from Minnesota and stopped here for a quick dinner. We sat outside on the patio as we had our dog with us, and everyone wanted to say hello. All of the waitstaff were friendly as well as the customers too. Every single waiter/waitress that walked by also asked if we would like some water for our dog (albeit she didn't drink any). Our waitress was extremely friendly and we even struck up a small conversation about our travels. The food was prepared quickly, and tasted amazing. I personally ordered the Do-Gooder Burger (attached), as well as the kids Mac-N-Cheese being so good our 9-year-old ordered two. We highly recommend the golf ball sized (yes, literally) cheese curds, that can be filled with four different types of cheeses. Probably the BEST service I have had at a bar/restaurant. I am in from out of town on business and stopped in to get a white claw and ordered food to take back to the hotel. Heather and Brooke both personally introduced themselves to me from behind the bar and I that that was the sweetest thing. It was a very busy afternoon as one of the regulars just passed away, so a lot of other patrons were there to honor him. So we decided to try this spot on our last day in Wisconsin. Our overall experience was great and the food was really good. They even had a gluten-free bun for my husband which is always a good thing. I attempted to try the famous burger challenge, I was only able to eat 3 patties and two buns. I also ordered their cheese ccurds. It seems that every restaurant that I have been to has them. So I order them up as we do not have them here in Cali. The staff were friendly which made the dinning experience great. The restaurant was clean. If I had to put out one negative thing, it would be that they only have Pepsi Products . I "built" my own burger, which was basically a cheddar cheese burger with a slice of avocado. I got to choose all my fixings too. I upgraded my side to onion rings (extra $). The burger was made well and everything was fresh and tasty. The onion rings were huge and I liked the taste. I what I didn't like was the breading on the rings, it tended to fall off the onion. Still the best cheese curds in Eau Claire, without question. They have a constantly rotating selection of burger choices, many of which veer off into unusual territory. Don't be afraid to experiment here - everything I have ever tried has turned out to be very good to excellent. The only negative here is that the service is clearly bar focused, so if you are not there to drink, you may find the service to be more than a bit slow.
