Ordered the fried pickles, a build-your-own Wagyu smash burger with Swiss, pepper jack, and hand-cut fries, plus an apple pie cider. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and Kaitlin behind the bar made the experience even better. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enjoyable to chat with. The food was solid overall. The smash burger had great flavor, though I would have liked a little more crisp on the edges. Still, it was a good burger and definitely hit the spot. Stopped here on a quick road trip as we were looking for somewhere that was open on Memorial Day and allowed dogs. So, extra stars for being dog friendly and having a lovely outdoor patio space with shade. Also extra points for having a pretty comprehensive dog menu in addition to the human menu. Their beer menu was extensive, but nothing sounded great from the selection. I was driving anyway so decided to go with a mocktail. They have a decent mocktail menu too, which I always appreciate. I got some kind of coconut mule, knowing that I didn't love coconut, so while it wasn't my favorite, it was actually pretty clever and the coconut added an interesting element to the drink. If you like coconut and you like mules, I cannot recommend enough. The chicken sandwich was decent, I wish they had a grilled option, but it was good and I finished the sandwich. Fries were good, too, and my pup really enjoyed his plate of plain grilled chicken. Our server was nice and made sure to get him some water too as soon as we sat down. Aside from the dog love, food was mostly stuff I could get at most burger sports bar type places, but it was still good and would be a perfectly fine place to go for dinner and a game or something. read more

As soon as me and my family walked inside there was a bit of a wait to get seated, but it's worth it. When we got seated my dad ordered us appetizers- fried pickles and cheese curds (the original kind). They were so good and the cheese in the cheese curds had a nice cheese pull. For the main part of my meal I ordered lemonade (which was okay, but could be a little sweeter), the cheese curd cheeseburger, along with hand cut fries for the side. My brother got a plain cheeseburger with ketchup and a side of fries; and my dad got the jalapeno cheddar burger and pub fries. Everything was fantastic and so delicious! We ate until we were stuffed. The waitress was super kind and came to our table every few minutes asking if everything was tasting good or if we needed anything. We tipped her good for her outstanding service. I was there for the first time, so it was an amazing experience for me, and my dad and brother had already gone there a few times, but still enjoyed it! I ordered the brat bites appetizer, the fair cheese curds, and the soft pretzel bites. Each came with a delicious dipping sauce. The sauces were as good as the food. I cannot comment on the restaurant, but I can tell you that the food was prepared Quickly, delivered quickly, and was still hot and very fresh when it arrived. The portions were generous...... So generous that I ended up having The same thing for lunch and again for dinner today. We came here for a late lunch in the middle of the week. This place has a bright and inviting feel the minute you enter with big open bar. We sat at the high tops and the server immediately greeted us. The food is above average for a chain restaurant but don't expect anything too gourmet. The wings were delicious and my shrimp lettuce wrap were fine, some of the lettuce was wilted. The cheese curds are a must try if you come here for food and beer. Their daily specials are great! Husband ordered an apple flavored cider boy and he said it tasted more like tap bud light than anything but other than that, everything was so good. The sports viewing options are limited, for a place that has a lot of TVs and is set up as a sports bar, but the manager adjusted one of the TVs so I could cast to it from my phone and watch the game. For that level of customer service, they automatically get 5 stars, but the food and prices were great also. The only complaint I had was that we were there on one of the first warm days of spring, and they didn't have the A/C ready, so it was pretty swampy inside - but that was just a seasonal one day thing. Took a large group of 15 into Milwaukee Burger Company on a Friday evening and they didn't even blink. Great staff and service. Really cool menu selections with a good variety of appetizers to include all kinds of fried cheese curds. (Get the curd sampler). Diverse selection of boutique burgers that you will not find in most places. Even have burgers that consist of three different types of meat as their draw. Plenty of drink selections as well. Most of the group got different types of burgers, feedback was that all were really flavorful. Several of our party went out of their way to try new and interesting things on the menu - the chicken fried jalapeño bacon was a hit with one of our party. Inside is comfortable and there are big screen televisions spread throughout so you can watch your favorite teams play. Overall a really great experience. MBC f***ed us hard and dry. On the 17th of July my family and I were headed north to a wonderful vacation of Northwoods fun. And to kick off this glorious weekend of Revelry my cousin Curtis, a spectacular American, Human Being and Father, decided to test his metal against the Legendary Milwaukee Burger Challenge. The waitress said it was virtually never completed and most competitors died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. On this bright Saturday Curtis dug deep and took down pounds upon pounds of burger, curd, toppings and some have said even the mat and tray the burger came in. Onlookers were flabbergasted. All the children cried. The gathered onlookers applauded. People pulled out cell phones and reached out to distant loved ones and forgave them. It was a triumph of humanity. For this Bilesian/Phelpsian/Rodgersian feat, all Curtis was promised was a T-shirt and his photo on social media; on the Milwaukee Burger Company Facebook Page. Something that is absolutely free to do. The least MBC could do is this right? After Curtis inspired all of Wausau and personally caused Joey Chestnut to piss his pants in fear? The family has checked daily for a month now. After the first week I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager and politely explained the horrific injustice that had taken place at her restaurant. She assured me it would be taken care of.
