Stopped in to get a good sampling of Oregon beers before heading back to California. I had been overall disappointed in other stores selections and then I came here. The beer choices are just awesome. Massive variety of beers to choose from in both bottle, tall cans and six packs. I was looking for shareable tall cans to take home and would say there was at least 50 to choose from not counting ciders. If you are heading to a party and want to do a beer sampling or just want to try some new beers, you must stop by this place. Wow they have added a lot of bourbon selections to the store. You have to go see the new beer walk in cooler. Coldest beer in town.

Employees were extremely helpful and very nice! This store has so many different options! They are a lot more than just a liquor store. Beer, gift items and glasses. I stopped in from out of town and left with a lot more than I originally planned to purchase.. I will definitely stop in again and highly recommend this store. read more

They never seem to recieve their shipments from the OLCC according to them. Every time I've stopped in theire for items that show available on the OLCC website they just some how don't have them available and act offended that you would even ask. read more

This is a rather large liquor store and they have a fairly good selection it might have been between stocking days by the looks of the shelves but otherwise they were friendly and helpful and I found what I wanted. read more

They give the term "convenient store "an entire new meaning. You can easily buy cases of liquor, gift sets, and incredible variety of any type a drink you're looking to make. They sell glasses to serve in, and all the side drinks and mixers you could ever imagine. The store is sparkling clean, I had no idea how they were dusted all these bottles but today I caught glimpse of a worker who is using canned air to blast them clean. That is just pure genius and I might start doing that at home, I am never "dusting" ever again! The staff is always so friendly, they greet you when you come in, they offer you health, but mostly they let you do what you want until you are ready to ask for assistance or you are ready to pay. They're very good at suggesting items to go along with whatever if you purchased. They also do pretty regular drawings, so wouldn't hurt to stop in every week or two and enter for whatever they're raffling off. This week is a massive cooler, did I say it was massive? It is massive. I don't know how other people measure things but you could easily keep a full-size adult body frozen in there for a good week or two I'm sure. I also measure car trunks in the same way (wink wink). Never sneak up on me, especially if I win this cooler! Stop by and say hello, there are always friendly. read more

I feel loyal to my local liquor store (they're rad!)... but I have to say, after all the upgrades to this spot and the expansion of booze (and beer) to choose from, I'll sometimes go out of my way to come to this liquor store! I like the new upgrades, plus it feels so much roomier inside. It makes you want to stay and look around, rather than just run in and out, grabbing your normal go to. I've always had a positive experience with the employees, so I'm sad to read that some of the employees are bigots. Hopefully those people will be/have been fired. I've also noticed that their beer selection isn't always steady. Some days my husband's favorites are in stock, some days they aren't. Which is more of a bummer based on the fact that we do come out of our way to shop here. read more

Of my vices, of which the Lord, strippers, Best Buy employees, growers, and purveyors of unmentionables know I have a few; hard alcohol has never been at the top of the list. Yes, I enjoy a good Gin & Tonic during hot summer evenings, or a well made Margarita (on the rocks, with salt) when savoring faire from south of the border (too much however leads to Cartman inspired signing of Taco-flavored kisses! Taco, taco. Burrito, burrito. Taco, taco!). So my preference is normally for an IPA, or other finely crafted local beer. This makes trips to the local liquor store few and far between. That was until recently, when liquor laws changed and absinthe began making its way (complete with Wormwood) to the shelves of Oregon's liquor stores. My first absinthe experience was in Amsterdam where I had a very formal and seductive introduction to the Green Fairy. Being a fan of Hemmingway and the Lost Generation, ideas of getting "tight" while enjoying a relaxing evening amongst intellectuals in a Parisian café always had an allure. The entire process of slowly dripping the water over the sugar cube and watching the combination "louche" when it comes together with the absinthe into a milky white color has a simple, yet sophisticated class to it. Yet it was in a very fine bottle of French absinthe that I quickly learned that the Green Fairy is a siren, a seductress, and must be respected. A well traveled bottle accompanied me to Prague, Munich & Paris; each destination offering a new and exciting locale to dip into the unique mindset brought on by consumption. Many stories were written under that spell, many adventures were had with my Green companion, many lessons learned as to its power. So it is with great joy that the Milwaukie Liquor Store has saved me from the continued hassle of shipping my precious, mind expanding intoxicant from Paris, thru Amsterdam and then to my home by way of cargo ship, within a hastily taped shipping crate clearly marked as containing nothing more then "pottery". The staff at the Milwaukie Liquor Store has always been friendly and helpful, they have a nice selection of spirits, and best of all their ability to supply the Green Fairy has made me a frequent and very happy customer. read more

Great customer service! I'm pretty sure so many of the employees were checking on me because they were suspicious of my age but they were helpful and nice, nonetheless. They also added me to some wine reward program so when I buy wine, I get my future wine CHEAPER. That sounds like a GREAT deal to me! Also, this store is so well organized and aesthetically pleasing. There have gift packages, sale items, a variety of mixers, and a decent wine selection. I'm thankful this place is so close to home and other places I shop! Because.... wine. read more

I've gone to this store for years but the service just keeps getting worse. I've showed up multiple times before they close yet they lock the doors and turn you away still. The handicapped woman is the worst of them all. Not making eye contact, igniting what customers say, and one word responses when she does answer. Since you can buy alcohol anywhere you'd be better off skipping this establishment. read more

AWESOME EMPLOYEES! The paper bag my liquor was in was faulty, and my little Kahlua fell through a hole at the bottom right outside the store. The employees checked to see if the lid was opened (which it wasn't) and gave me a new one. Thats costumer service!! read more

They have most, if not all the bourbons that I need. I only wish they had a few of the older aged bourbons available, but I understand they're small. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable; and the prices are fair. read more

The staff is always super friendly; the owner is a total sweetheart. They're very knowledgeable and have a decent selection. I always find myself browsing the flasks and other trinkets. Sometimes they have someone in there giving out free samples. They're open on Sundays too! read more
