I had a pedi this afternoon. Didn't get the gals name but I am highly disappointed with her work. First off she cut them too short. It's not the end of the world but she should know better. Then when she said she was done I noticed that the bottom of my nails looked very sloppy....polish on the skin and not a nice clean line. I asked her to please clean them up. She did but didn't do a good job. I didn't notice all the flaws with my pedi till I got to my next stop and looked at them in the sunlight. She obviously didn't smooth my nail beds down so my polish looks a bit wavy and that's when I noticed she didn't clean them up well. Also, some of the edges on my nails are not filed down very well, they're jagged-like. Just a very poor job all the way around. The reason I gave two stars is because I've been there before (years ago) and they did a decent job. read more

This place wasn't bad. We went for pedicures only. Our regular place was closed for Black Friday. It was $18 for a pedi not sure if that's about the advantage we normally pay $14-16 but figured it's the normal price these days. It was clean in there and it seeMed like they had regulars. My daughters lady was very friendly and tried to make small talk. My girl was grumpy and kinda scary. She didn't look up once or smile. She worked fast and wish she would have filed my toe nails more straight but her paint job was spot on. Overall I would go back if I needed some one but I prob wouldn't be a regular. read more

Update: my previous gel manicure lasted 24 days, with minimal chipping. Went back to get my New Years nails and I'm completely satisfied with the results once again. Services included removing the previous gel and adding a chrome finish, it came out to $35. Thank you Paula. read more

Second time coming to this location, first time under new ownership. Absolutely awesome spot. This place is like the Taj Mahal of nail salons. Very clean salon with utmost professionalism. I love that they use liners in their pedicure tubs. Tina did a fabulous job on my gels and obviously took pride in her work. $20 to remove my nasty old gels and apply new beautiful ones. First and last time I'll ever try this place. I came here with my mom and mainly, the only reason was for my mom because she's 67 and couldn't wait another day to get a pedicure. Many of the places were booked despite trying to make an appointment for over a week. This place was able to take us in so we gave it a shot. The 2 gals that serviced me were "okay" very nice but lacked skills. I asked for a gel manicure and the color I picked didn't turn out to be that color even after the almost third coat. I told her after the first that it looked extremely light, so she went to get a darker color pink and put it on top of the previous coat. No biggie I thought, same color but now it seemed the colors were just watered down. I told her I wasn't happy and she got another darker pink and out of frustration I just let her continue. She was very nice and I know it's not her fault that she had to work with poor quality. The pedicure tech was wonderful, still the watered down nail color was beyond her control but she gave a wonderful massage and tried to color in the areas that wouldn't catch the best she could. My mom on the other hand had a pedicure tech that was extremely rude. My mom was clear that she wanted her nails cut short and rounded and the tech did what she wanted. After my mom told her she wanted shorter, she filed instead and my mom said shorter. I know this isn't a "normal" request because of trend but she's 67! She knows what she wants! My mom had to tell her shorter at least 3 times and even showed her a marker. This nail tech grew frustrated and began to show her frustration. I think if she just listened carefully the first time versus trying to engage in 2 other conversations with her fellow nail techs, she wouldn't have grown frustrated. It's not what you want, it's what the client wants. Nonetheless, customer service lacks and product quality is extremely poor. I might as well have brought in my nail polish I have laying around from 10 years ago. Horrible service but I still tipped them extremely well despite this. I'd rather someone feel bad that way than being rude back. I'm sure they are thinking "I didn't deserve this" and that's what I feel is the best way to give a back handed compliment. Never again. The shopping center across the way is 100 times better but they are always booked solid and closed on sundays. read more

Stopped by randomly for a manicure a few months ago (height of COVID) The manicure was average. The vibe and lack of precautions will keep me from returning. First , they were blasting Fox News on the television and it was so ironic/upsetting to see a place of immigrants actively listening to the very network that perpetuates hatred towards them. It wasn't just on in the background, the staff and patrons were engaged and discussing. I hope they could put something more neutral on the TV. In regards to COVID precautions, it was not enforced. I observed the staff to be lax about mask wearing (often not wearing one or wearing below the chin), and I did not observe sanitizing in between guests. The other patrons during my visit also did not respect COVID precautions by proudly and dare I say egregiously not wearing their masks inside. It's uncomfortable to go to a place where everyone's safety isn't a priority. And also listening to hateful, inflammatory rhetoric during what should be a relaxing activity is the perfect way to keep people from returning. There's a lot of other nail salons in the area that have a better environment. read more

I will definitely be back again! First things first I am extremely picky when getting my nails done and these ladies still impressed me. I called to see if they had time for a mani/pedi and they were kind and saw me right away. The ladies were very attentive on my nails and took their time. I asked for my finger nails to be rounded a little after she had finished filing and the lady was very kind and did not make me feel that I was a pain for asking like I have felt at many other salons. I had a great experience here! I just recently starting getting gel manicures. This was my 3rd one. The first mani (another salon) did a good job on the polish, but I was not happy with the shape. The 2nd one (another salon) did a great job on the shape, but the polish was sloppy and spotty. Jenny at Mimi's did both and my nails are perfect - both shape and polish! She took time inspecting her work as she went and the end result was beautiful nails. The salon looked clean. Regulars who walked in were greeted by name. Everyone seemed friendly. It was a perfect experience. Side note: they had 80s music playing and I told one of the employees it was hard not to break into singing along with the music. She told me to go for it. ABSOLUTELY LOVED MY NAILS! I'm new to the area so I was looking for a new nail place. As soon as I walked in they asked me what I was getting and they said go ahead and sit and immediately brought me the nail swatches to see what color I would like. Within a few minutes I was attended. The girl that did my nails was very sweet and after every step she would ask if I liked it. The only little problem was that they only accept cash tip. Just move to the area and have been looking for a new nail shop. Came in July 3rd. They have good customer service and the place is pretty clean. Tina took care of me. I was worried but she did such a good job. I mentioned a few things I wanted, she already new, and made changes as requested. We joked that next time I call for an appointment I should just say it's "the picky new girl". And she will know exactly who it was. Will do! I will say that it is a bit more expensive compared to where I use to go. $10 for the color change compare to $5 and $31 for a gel fill. read more

The only hiccup was I picked a gel color that they didn't end up having which was a bummer but I think pricing was fair & and the girl did a great job! I went here to get my nails done as they were pretty short and bitten. I got my nails done in a Tiffany Blue dip and it lasted for almost a month now. My nails has grown out but the colour and nails are still there. I personally like the dip as it lasts so much longer if you can take care of it. The ladies there are friendly and very eager to work. The wait wasn't that long and I saw the ladies work quick and skilled. The prices are moderate and a good price for the nails you want. I recommend this place for your nails. This was the worst nail experience I ever had! I told them I didn't like my French nail gel manicure... They didn't care and refused to change it!!! The lady Annie basically threw a fit and stomped and said it wasn't fair! My thumbs look like Fred Flinstone and the whites of my nail shows behind the painted white. I use to come here all the time and Sandy would do my eyebrows. I recently moved back to the area so I thought I'd drop in for a quick mani/pedi, but boy was I wrong. They are rude rude RUDE! No sense of customer service what so ever. They are slow and just plain rude, I have never walked into a nail salon and not at least been acknowledged right away to ask what services i wanted. I stood there for 5-10 minutes and no one even looked up from the customers they were working on. I have been to many nail salons and I can honestly say I've never been treated so poorly. There are too many other salons in the area than to have to put up with that extremely poor customer service. read more

I got a standard pedicure. No polish. Just wanted to relax and treat my feet bc they tend to get dry and tough skin. Usually a pedicure fixes this right up. But this one didn't. They only used a soft scrubber and to try to treat my tough skin she used a cuticle cutter. I dunno why. My tough skin is larger than a cuticle. But she treated my cuticle and they looked nice. I got a bit cut on one toe but cuts happen. And they actually have stuff to put on cuts. No other place that has cut me had that. The massage was really nice and their chair has a wonderful massager. The process took a nice relaxing 20 min. And the woman treating me as very nice. I'd give a higher review if my tough skin was actually treated which is the main reason I get pedicures. But now I just have cuticle cut chunks imprinted in my tough skin. read more

i haven't had my nails done since well before COVID, and was in desperate need of a manicure and pedicure. im so glad i called to make an appointment- they were super busy today. but they got me started quickly, and did their best not to keep me waiting too long. i didn't catch the name of the girl who did my feet, but she did an incredible job of shaping my nails and removing all the callus from being on my feet all day as a caregiver. Mimi did my french fade acrylics, and her sculpting technique is beautiful and even. she also stopped to fix any bubbles or smudges immediately, something i really appreciate as i always manage to ding my nails as i set them under the lamp. all in all a wonderful job, and I'll definitely be coming back in! thank you so much! read more
