When you first walk in you're greeted, if you'd like anything to drink and asked how everything was when you're done. The pedicures are one of my favs esp with the paraffin wax. A couple of recommendations: Make an appt if you can because they do get busy especially on holidays and weekends. Have an idea of what you'd like but understand that sometimes the photos you bring are AI generated :) They have an array of color choices and if they don't hve exactly what you are looking for (which is rare), they will fins something similar. Presently they have super cute fruit gel colors and are often doing their own research on updated tips, trends and colors. I go monthly and am happy each time with each tech who has helped me. They couldn't shape my nails round either time, so I had to cut them down super short after growing them for months... I was asked what shape I want? I said round, she did square. I showed a picture of round in case she didn't understand and, she said it was too short to make round, how is that even possible? Also, they grind your nails so far down they thin out... I'm sure it's to save time, but it's truly not worth messing up the structure of the nail. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves... I have a conference next week and I'm very embarrassed about these nails... (yes, they had me pay full price; mani and 2 pedis $108)

What is even more concerning is that the zebra design on my index finger has already smeared after only a few days. A set of nails at this price point should not be falling apart almost immediately. For $105, I expected professional-quality work, attention to detail, and durability. Instead, I received a set that looks unfinished and is already showing significant defects. This level of workmanship is unacceptable.

The interior and decor was really nice, clean, and spacious. I did the hard gel manicure (by Vivian) & hard gel pedicure (by Holly) that include hard stones which comes with lotion & massage. Holly said that with hard gel manicure it's an additional cost so it would be total of $41. While my sister did the gel manicure (by Gina) & gel pedicure (by Helen) with cat's eye color which has an additional cost of $30. They offered a free drink of your choices of wine, beer, tea, water, etc. which I thought was really nice since I have never seen any nail places offered that before. I went with green tea while my sister went with herbal tea. They were all very friendly and helpful. I felt very refreshed and clean after getting this done. The nails came out pretty, but only thing I didn't get from the manicure was lotion and massage. I just noticed Vivian used the oil to put on my hands and arms. I was waiting to see if I get lotion and massage, but had to hurry up and leave since my sister had an appt after this. When we got the pricing, the total for me and my sister was $236. I wanted to get clarification of the pricing, but didn't have time since we were in a rush. Next time we come, will make sure to do that since I was trying to look at the pricing menu and I couldn't figure it out what the cost to make it to that. However, I would come here again, but make sure they did provide all the services that should be included and ask for a breakdown of the services since no receipt is provided of the breakdown.

Painful, careless, and unprofessional. Do not go here…read more I went in for a builder gel overlay and came out with damaged nails and lifting gel. The worst part was the experience itself. I came in with gel-x on, so a removal was necessary. Instead of a clean removal, the tech, Metta Tran, did multiple (failed) acetone soaks interrupted by filing with a drill. When I asked if she could use a scraper, she said no because "the drill was easier." She then insisted on leaving a thin layer of acetone-treated gel on my nails even after I asked her not to. Throughout the appointment I had to repeatedly ask Metta to get prep and product fully onto my nail beds: I asked around seven times. She even argued with me when I pointed out missed spots, saying "it's just the base, it doesn't matter." The builder gel was applied unevenly and not properly floated - leaving my nails super thin, with no apex, and actively bending. When I said they shouldn't bend and the gel needed to be applied thicker, she told me they "just do them skinny here." She also made me bleed with the cuticle cutter and kept filing with the blood-spotted drill bit. She filed around my cuticles so much I had to tell her to stop. My pinky nail was still bending when I left, and she dismissed it as "fine." After the seventh time I asked Metta to make sure product was on my full nail, she said, "Wow, you REALLY care a lot about detail." I responded, "Yeah, don't you?" Her answer? A casual, matter-of-fact "No." Even though I was outwardly calm, I was completely stunned. I've never heard a service provider so openly and unashamedly admit that they don't care about the quality of what they're charging for. The finished result was lumpy, with flooded cuticles and gaps where product was missed. The nails started lifting the very next day. To the salon's credit, the manager on duty was kind enough to grant me a refund and removal. However, the removal was also done unsafely (she refused to avoid using a metal drill bit on my natural nails) and my nails got drilled down so thin that one started flaking away almost immediately. Hours later, my nail beds are still hurting and sensitive from it. There is also STILL gel left on my nails. If you value your natural nails, go somewhere else. I've spent so long growing out and strengthening my nails, and it all got ruined in one day.

Yesterday, however, the business decisions and customer service were extremely disappointing. My husband and I came in requesting two pedicures. We waited less than five minutes before being seated. While they started my pedicure, my husband's feet were left soaking as he waited for service to begin. Shortly after I was taken in, additional customers arrived and were immediately attended to before my husband, despite the fact that we had already been seated and waiting. It became very clear that other customers were being prioritized over him. We consistently purchase deluxe pedicures, not regular services, which made the situation even more frustrating. After two other customers were taken ahead of him, and nearly 30 minutes had passed since my service began, we decided my husband would no longer continue waiting. As we were leaving, we were told that the other customers had appointments. That explanation made little sense considering no one communicated that to us beforehand, nor did anyone think it inappropriate to leave someone soaking in water for almost half an hour without service. This situation was poorly handled and extremely disappointing, especially as longtime loyal customers.

I just moved to Upland 2 days ago and was in desperate need of a mani/pedi after all the wear and tear my nails went through from packing/moving boxes. I found this place thru Yelp and called to make an appointment. Since this is my first time so I came 15 minutes early. I sat on the waiting area to look around the salon, I noticed that how the cleanliness of the spa, the tools were sanitized and the pedi chairs were cleaned after each used. All the technicians there are friendly, sweet, truly care about their customers, and they know what they're doing. I had 2 technicians at the same time working on my pedicure and manicure. My pedicure was seamless and comfortable- no sharp tools leading to painful nicks or cuts, and the polish was perfect. They took time to work on my feet. Beside that I also got a free massage with sea-salt, I didn't have to pay extra for that. I love this nail salon not only for the amazing service and their price are in-expensive. I read the yelp reviews Mimi's Nails & Spa before checking it out and wow I was very impressed. I had a Mimi, the place was very clean. I came as soon as they opened they already had their ladies with their appointments ready to go before me but I still didn't have to wait. Mimi, worked on my hands and she did a great job. This place is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I absolutely love this place! My nails are as stunning as they can get. The employees are great and so nice. This isn't the "you get what you pay," it's better than that! This was my 2nd gel manicure in March because the 1st one did a horrible job and I requested a design, but they never even did the nail design! I have been here 3 times and have always been treated with the utmost respect! All of the technicians in this spa know what they're doing and they do it well. Their customer service is excellent. Their tools are cleaned in a UV machine and they open the bag in front of you. Mimi is my favorite because she understands what kind of art I like. Tiffany has also done good work for me in the past, which is why this experience was disappointing enough for me to finally leave a review. On May 7th, we scheduled a 6 PM appointment for two people. We showed Tiffany an inspiration photo for my son's girlfriend's birthday nails. She said she couldn't do 3D nails, which was completely understandable, but what was frustrating was that she still proceeded with a design that looked nothing like the photo and ended up messy, smudged, and rushed. By around 7:10 PM, Tiffany said she was leaving. When I finally got a good look at the nails, I told her they weren't what we asked for. Her response was basically that she didn't have time to fix them and that we could just come back the next day. Unfortunately, that wasn't possible because we already had plans. Her response was simply, "Oh well," before walking out the door. We still paid around $80 for a full set that we didn't like and ended up having to go next door to another salon, where she got the nails she originally wanted done correctly. As for my own experience there, Tiffany is my go to and she's really good at what she does (which makes this situation so unfortunate) but the male nail tech who works there is extremely rough when removing gel. He aggressively scrapes healthy nail beds and cuticles with the metal tool instead of properly soaking/removing the gel. Every time I went, I had to repeatedly ask him to be gentler. My nails became very thin and weak from it, despite the fact that I always tipped well. This review isn't out of spite. I just think if a design can't be done, it should be communicated honestly from the beginning instead of rushing through something and charging full price for work the customer clearly didn't ask for. Sadly, after this experience, I won't be returning.

They are within walking distance but I am going to go to a new place that will appreciate and respect what I have to say about what I want done and how. $65 for basic spa and "better gel" nail polish.
