Great food and friendly service. I ordered the quesabirria and chicken tacos. Fresh ingredients and plenty of meat. If on the hungry side, order there. Highly recommended for a quick bite to eat.

Super fresh and as authentic as I have experienced thus far. Tucked behind and next to a vape/smoke shop and conveniently right off the 95 exit. So it's perfect for a quick bite. The special is just that with two types of meat, loads of cilantro & fresh pineapple on homemade tortillas. Good serving sizes and definitely fairly priced. The fruit drinks are fresh and 100% juice. I highly recommend the pineapple. Friendly staff too! Will definitely tell my foodie friends and be coming back asap.

Just okay. We had the burrito, tacos, flautas, and quesabirria. Also, two tub-sized very sweet drinks. Everything in styrofoam. Next to a smoke shop.

This is our 3rd or 4th time getting take out at Mimiskys. The food is simple and full of flavor. The homemade salsas included seal the deal. This food truck is consistent and service is excellent. Our order is always prepared in a timely manner. The chef/owner is super friendly as always. Good food served with a smile -- a winner in my book!

Authentic Mexican street food !! Small menu and a few Mexican drinks. It's worth the wait to have it made fresh.

Great tacos, our new favorite food truck in Delray Beach. Some of the best steak tacos we've had in this part of Florida.

So TL:DR, I'm sold! I'm coming back and hoping it's consistent because this meal was delicious. Ordered tacos: steak, carnitas, and barbacoa. With rice and beans and washed it down with a large agua de Jamaica. Steak taco tasted like a real steak taco, and drenched with lime and salsa from their extremely convenient salsa bar, it was fantastic. The carnitas tacos was next, it was nice and tender, great taste, and again, drenched in lime and a mix of their green and red salsa it was very yummy. In between I had the rice and beans that were excellent imo. I'm Mexican and grew up eating beans 5-7 days week so i know a thing or two. The rice and beans were very close to home made. Very nostalgic. Finally I was expecting the barbacoa taco to be, not-so-good. I dunno know honestly I just expected them to not be perfect. Barbacoa was on-point! Great taste and not dry. Good potion of meat too, so I was able to eat some of the meat with rice and beans and that was amazing. Tortillas are made in-house and tasted great, I'm usually picky about this but these weren't too thick and tasted great. The agua de Jamaica was excellent. On the sweet side but not overly overly sweet. It was the perfect meal for that particular day, it hit the spot and didn't cost an arm and a leg. It's in a plaza, in a halfway sketchy neighborhood tbh but is worth going to and very close to 95. I will be going back and probably ordering the exact same order.

This was the best I have had in the Delray area. I tried both the chorizo and the steak breakfast burrito and both were great but I like the chorizo best. I'd definitely come back. We were not disappointed, and are wondering why the reviews aren't higher! We ordered the Tostones Morelia with grilled shrimp as an appetizer. Absolutely loved the combination of ingredients! Sorry no picture, as we weren't expecting to give a review. Next came the Steak Tampiqueño. Much to my disappointment my husband ordered the steak medium, but surprisingly the steak was very juicy and flavorful. I ordered the Enchiladas de Cangrejo. Again the combination of ingredients that I normally wouldn't think to put together was excellent. And by the way, the service was great! We enjoyed talking with our very kind server, who was very helpful. Normally, we like to keep trying new restaurants, but Monarca is going on our saved list as we are coming back! The gentlemen that took my order was nice and got my order correctly. I asked for two orders of the combo which is $16 each. The combo comes with two tacos, nachos and a drink. I asked for the carne asada and my mom asked for the taco de pollo. I felt like these tacos were nothing special. The cheese on the nachos was not melted. The drink with the combo is limited on three options only . The drink they offer is Tamarindo, Jamaica and Horcheta. These drinks were scooped up from a metal container. To me this seems super sketchy and unsanitary. I asked if the had other drink options with the combo and the gentleman said no. When I asked what was in the Jamaican drink he said he didn't know and later came up to me stating there is hibiscus in it. I was a little scared to drink this but I was thirsty. I don't like how run down this place looks and I don't like the attitude of the lady that was preparing the food. She was very serious. I personally wouldn't go here again.

It may not seem like much, but imagine how much that adds up to.. I asked them what that was and they couldn't explain what it was or why it was there. Then I told the other folks there that there was a non cash payment 4% charge as they paid with cards and had a larger order. They asked for their receipt and they couldn't provide one. This business is not above board and is shady now, not like before. Even the kitchen has a leaking ceiling and dropping tiles. I rarely even yelp anymore, but I will get on here to tell you about this because theft is wrong and there are standards to be met for food service.

We were sat at a table near the bar which was great as it was inside and had a nice breeze with the fans and AC. Damien was our server and was wonderful at explaining the menu and the concept of their scratch kitchen. For our drinks we tried the classic and guava-habanero margaritas. We ended up liking the classic more just because the fresh ingredients were reminiscent of those we had in Mexico. It was a little too warm out to be doubling down on spice in our drinks too. We ordered a brisket quesadilla and for our tacos: carnitas, chorizo, and crispy fish. For our second round (not pictured), my husband tried the spicy chicken. He was warned the spicy chicken is exceptionally spicy but he didn't think that warning was warranted so maybe don't be afraid to try it if you're not big on spice. We had tap water that they left a large bottle on the table for. Even though we didn't drink too much of it, they still replaced it with a fresh bottle after a while since it probably got warm. One staff member even came to wipe up the water that had sweat off our drinks. Overall, El Camino exceeded our expectations. All of the staff was kind and courteous and the food was off the chart. And those happy hour prices are hard to beat! We definitely will be back!
