The interior decor style invokes old Mexico. They have booths on one side and tables with chairs and a bar on the other side. We were seated and our order taken quickly, but no one checked on us after we got our food. We had to request ice tea refills. The poblanos rellenos came wrapped in a tortilla and covered with cheese. My companion liked it. I thought it was okay. I had the carnitas tacos. They were packed with pork and not much else. The corn tortillas were soft, warm, and delicious. It came with a tiny serving of beans and a good, but mild salsa. 4% fee added for credit cards Overall, the service was friendly, the front of house was clean, and the food was okay. It's a good addition the neighborhood. I'll be back.

Traditional pork tacos - flavorless, and the "spicy" tomatillo sauce was bland green liquid.

The service here is pretty good, and they are definitely good at pleasing the elderly crowd - coincidentally, my in-laws really liked their meals. However, I found everything at 3Tequilas to lack flavor, starting with their salsas (even the "spicy" salsa has almost no kick or flavor), but extending to everything I tasted. I miss the Italian restaurant that was in this spot previously. :(

We had a very good lunch here at this relatively new Mexican restaurant. We'd been to this shopping center before, but didn't recognize it at first from the address. They weren't that busy when we first stopped by. They had quite a few lunch specials from which to choose. They started us off with complimentary chips and salsa. I liked that the salsa was mild as I'm not into spicy or peppery tastes. I'm sure you could ask for hot sauce if you needed more of a kick. I had their taco salad with ground beef. The shell was light and crispy. The shredded lettuce, tomatoes and cheese quite fresh. There was lots of meat in a light sauce on the bottom. Except that the juices from the meat made the bottom of the shell a bit soggy, it was exactly what I was craving. My husband had the caldo de pollo. A big bowl of chicken soup with lots of pieces of chicken along with veggies in broth. He said it was quite good. Prices were reasonable; portions were large; service was pleasant. And yes, we would return.

We were in the area and hungry. We have been in this plaza with several eateries We have tried. The Now Open Sign caught our eye and we decided give them a try. Plenty of close by parking. We were greeted and seated immediately. Their menu features classic traditional Mexican plates and a Lunch menu. We enjoyed some chips and really good salsa dip. I chose the Chicken Soup. My soup was served piping hot, with a large amount of chicken in a savory broth with corn, onion, bell peppers tomato, rice and cilantro. It was very good and satisfying. Our server was very pleasant and checked on us several times to make sure we were enjoying our meals.

I have had a better meal at Taco B*ll that had better flavors and more reasonable prices with better service. The complimentary chips and salsa was the best part of the meal. Our server was terrible. She was unpersonable, unfriendly, and hardly ever came to our table. After we ordered from the lunch menu we only saw her to ask for a manager which we were told "no manager". The California Burrito was 75% rice, 20% pinto beans, and 5% meat which is not what was described in the menu description. My taco salad was 60% lettuce, 20% meat and 20% fake sour cream and cheese with an upcharge of 3 dollars for a tablespoon of guacamole. I thought the server was kidding when I asked why so little guacamole for a 3 dollar upcharge. She shrugged her shoulders and smirked which didn't go well for her or me. They do charge extra for using a credit card over the cash price. The decor inside is cute and the restaurant was clean but there is nothing that would bring me back here ever again. *Mexican restaurants should never use a low fat, cheap tasting sour cream!!!

3 Tequilas has the BEST Mexican food in this area (Delray/Boynton)!!! Vast menu with generous portions all made to order. Food comes out quickly & delivered hot. Baskets of chips homemade ...crispy not greasy with really good salsa. If you eat them all, your server will bring out more. Free refills on soft drinks. Special requests no problem here. Nice decor. One evening odered a raspberry frozen margarita- probably the tastiest drink I've had here in FL (& the strongest too). My food server for lunch today was Natali. She & one of the other servers very attentive. Made sure to compliment the staff & food to Valeria the manager. A+++ for food AND customer service. Portions so large the server brings a box to the table to pack it up & brought another small container of salsa plus a bag of chips to go. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!!!

We recently try this place for some tacos. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was good with very fast service. The place had a great vibe and was extremely clean. I recommend giving it a try. The prices were reasonable and it has an extensive menu. Family run equals great pride in quality service and value. This new place has all 3 Tequilas going for it.

Saw this new Mexican restaurant not far from we live and decided to try it. Located in a Publix shopping center. Storefront restaurant with just a temporary sign. I tried the Camarones Al Tequila, shrimp with rich homemade mixed spices sautéed in butter with bell pepper & onions, zucchini & mushrooms, flaming with tequila for a great taste served with rice, refried beans, and lettuce. Also chips and salsa. It was fair and lacked flavor.

Chile relleno wrapped in a tortilla, enchilada-style.

Both appetizers were packed with flavor, the egg rolls had the perfect crispy texture, and the deviled eggs were a delicious Southern twist. For the entrées, we had the Jambalaya and the Carolina Smoked Brisket Sandwich. Everything tasted fresh and was cooked just right. We ordered a couple apps, the smoked grilled wings and BBQ egg rolls. The wings needed to be cooked more, the skin was only crispy on a couple of them, on one side. The egg rolls were ok, just mediocre. Not much flavor in my opinion, the sauce had to do the work. For our entrees we both got burgers. I had the batch burger and my husband got the other burger option. Don't remember the name but it had crispy onions, pickles etc. Again, they were just ok. Burger meat was tough, bacon was good though, pecan maple I believe. The B1 aioli was flavorful and the fries were pretty good. A bit greasy but well-salted. Overall, just not the best quality food in my opinion. There was a guitar player/singer performing on the outside patio, but we sat inside. You could still hear the music faintly which was good for us as we wanted to talk. It does get a bit loud indoors but nothing crazy. It was Friday night so a little busy. Seating at the high top was comfortable, nice cushioned seats. Floors are very slippery so be careful. Not horrible, but not great. Kind of middle of the road in my opinion.

I went with the avocado toast, topped with lemon, tomato, watermelon radish, piment d'Espelette, and sea salt. To celebrate the birthday girl, we couldn't resist sharing the unadulterated double chocolate pecan brownie, topped with caramel and chocolate mousse. Just a note - we were able to use our in kind offer which was also very nice. A few bucks saved is very nice these days.

The Ave has grown significantly around it over the years, but it's still one of the staple restaurants in a central location. Overall, it was great meal with good service and nice atmosphere. It's sill one of the gems. We started with the wedge salad and cheesy bread. We wanted to get the Filet Mignon and the Prime Cut Ribeye to share them, but they were out of the Filet which was a bit surprising. Instead, we got the Crispy Chicken Piccata. They were both excellent. The fingerlings and asparagus were good and loved the red wine sauce. The crispy chicken was not too heavy, with lemon and an ample arugula salad. I don't remember the name of desert, but it was a combo of a browny with an Oreo cookie layer (which the kid in me couldn't refuse) with a scoop vanilla ice cream. It was great.

That said, I'm taking off one star because of the way reservations are handled before opening. I typically make a 5:00 PM reservation and arrive a few minutes early (around 4:55 PM), only to find a large crowd of guests waiting outside. This has happened multiple times. In Florida's summer heat, it's uncomfortable and frankly unnecessary to have dozens of customers--many of them elderly--standing outside in 90+ degree weather while waiting for the doors to open. During my most recent visit, people were visibly frustrated, hot, and asking why they couldn't simply wait inside the air-conditioned lobby. The issue seems to be a combination of policy and execution. The host staff often appear surprised when guests are annoyed, but the frustration is entirely predictable. If someone has a reservation and arrives a few minutes early, they should be allowed to wait comfortably inside rather than standing outside in the heat. I genuinely enjoy this restaurant and want to keep coming back, but this is an easily fixable customer experience issue. A simple change to allow guests to wait indoors before seating would go a long way toward improving the overall experience. I hope you take this as a friendly reminder that we want to eat here, we just don't want to boil outside.
