I learned about it from the NextDoor app. Hardly a seat to be had. Thankfully we were seated promptly. Each employee was genuinely cheerful and pleasant. My lovely spouse had the chicken fajitas, best she ever had, she said. Two margaritas, on sale tonight for $8.00 each (Happy Holiday). I enjoyed a California Burrito, ( no cheese or sour cream, thank you). Total bill was $65.00, and asked the manager to sign up for the InKind app, as we'll be going back soon. 3Tequilas Mexican Cuisine was an absolute disappointment from start to finish. The service was inattentive at best...once our food was dropped off, no one bothered to check on us again. No refills, no follow-up, nothing. The food itself was even worse. What we were served looked nothing like the photos on the menu, which felt misleading right away. Unfortunately, the taste matched the presentation: completely sub-par and frankly unpleasant. The beans were the lowest point--no seasoning, no flavor, just what seemed like plain boiled beans dumped on a plate. This was not a good dining experience by any standard. We had a coupon and felt like Mexican for lunch. There was plenty of parking in front and we were seated in a booth. Therr was a strange smell that almost had me running. We switched booths and it was significantly better. We were given delicious warm chips with a tasty salsa with lots of fresh cilantro. When we finished the portion, our chips & salsa were refilled. I ordered a Cabo shrimp quesadilla that was tasty. My husband ordered a steak fajita that he enjoyed. Service was very quick, portions were generous & the lunch menu was extensive and reasonably priced. The interior decor style invokes old Mexico. They have booths on one side and tables with chairs and a bar on the other side. We were seated and our order taken quickly, but no one checked on us after we got our food. We had to request ice tea refills. The poblanos rellenos came wrapped in a tortilla and covered with cheese. My companion liked it. I thought it was okay. I had the carnitas tacos. They were packed with pork and not much else. The corn tortillas were soft, warm, and delicious. It came with a tiny serving of beans and a good, but mild salsa. 4% fee added for credit cards Overall, the service was friendly, the front of house was clean, and the food was okay. The service here is pretty good, and they are definitely good at pleasing the elderly crowd - coincidentally, my in-laws really liked their meals. However, I found everything at 3Tequilas to lack flavor, starting with their salsas (even the "spicy" salsa has almost no kick or flavor), but extending to everything I tasted. I miss the Italian restaurant that was in this spot previously. :( read more

We planned on the Chinese Food next-door decided to give this place a try. The host was very friendly. I told her I can't have anything spicy. My burrito was quite spicy. My husband loves spicy food! But his shrimp dish was over the top spicy & he could barely eat it. A shame because the recipes the fresh ingredients are all great. So if you're into very spicy Mexican food, this is the place for you. May try it again, but not sure. read more

We had a very good lunch here at this relatively new Mexican restaurant. We'd been to this shopping center before, but didn't recognize it at first from the address. They weren't that busy when we first stopped by. They had quite a few lunch specials from which to choose. They started us off with complimentary chips and salsa. I liked that the salsa was mild as I'm not into spicy or peppery tastes. I'm sure you could ask for hot sauce if you needed more of a kick. I had their taco salad with ground beef. The shell was light and crispy. The shredded lettuce, tomatoes and cheese quite fresh. There was lots of meat in a light sauce on the bottom. Except that the juices from the meat made the bottom of the shell a bit soggy, it was exactly what I was craving. My husband had the caldo de pollo. A big bowl of chicken soup with lots of pieces of chicken along with veggies in broth. He said it was quite good. Prices were reasonable; portions were large; service was pleasant. We were in the area and hungry. We have been in this plaza with several eateries We have tried. The Now Open Sign caught our eye and we decided give them a try. Plenty of close by parking. We were greeted and seated immediately. Their menu features classic traditional Mexican plates and a Lunch menu. We enjoyed some chips and really good salsa dip. I chose the Chicken Soup. My soup was served piping hot, with a large amount of chicken in a savory broth with corn, onion, bell peppers tomato, rice and cilantro. It was very good and satisfying. I have had a better meal at Taco B*ll that had better flavors and more reasonable prices with better service. The complimentary chips and salsa was the best part of the meal. Our server was terrible. She was unpersonable, unfriendly, and hardly ever came to our table. After we ordered from the lunch menu we only saw her to ask for a manager which we were told "no manager". The California Burrito was 75% rice, 20% pinto beans, and 5% meat which is not what was described in the menu description. My taco salad was 60% lettuce, 20% meat and 20% fake sour cream and cheese with an upcharge of 3 dollars for a tablespoon of guacamole. I thought the server was kidding when I asked why so little guacamole for a 3 dollar upcharge. She shrugged her shoulders and smirked which didn't go well for her or me. They do charge extra for using a credit card over the cash price. The decor inside is cute and the restaurant was clean but there is nothing that would bring me back here ever again. *Mexican restaurants should never use a low fat, cheap tasting sour cream!!! read more

3 Tequilas has the BEST Mexican food in this area (Delray/Boynton)!!! Vast menu with generous portions all made to order. Food comes out quickly & delivered hot. Baskets of chips homemade ...crispy not greasy with really good salsa. If you eat them all, your server will bring out more. Free refills on soft drinks. Special requests no problem here. Nice decor. One evening odered a raspberry frozen margarita- probably the tastiest drink I've had here in FL (& the strongest too). My food server for lunch today was Natali. She & one of the other servers very attentive. Made sure to compliment the staff & food to Valeria the manager. A+++ for food AND customer service. Portions so large the server brings a box to the table to pack it up & brought another small container of salsa plus a bag of chips to go. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!!! read more

Had a nice dinner here on a Monday (president's day) with my parents. My mom had been there on a Saturday evening and said it was very crowded. When we came at 5:30pm it was empty, and filled up a little more by 6:30 but still wasn't full. Service was good, we got the $5 house margarita (all night happy hour) and enjoyed our table chips and salsa. We got the guac which was made tableside and was too big for just 2 of us. I tried the Camarones Al Tequila, shrimp with rich homemade mixed spices sautéed in butter with bell pepper & onions, zucchini & mushrooms, flaming with tequila for a great taste served with rice, refried beans, and lettuce. Fun find in West Boynton. Delicious tacos-- I ordered the pork (juicy chopped up pork crisped on the plancha). For some reason, hard shell tacos is what you get if you don't ask. I asked (soft corn or flour available) and got soft corn. Good rice, choice of black beans or refried beans. Guacamole was good. Chips are not free, but warm and crispy. Salsa is mild (too mild) so order a hot salsa too and add a few spoons to your taste. Drinks were good. No complaints. This is a good spot in an area that is lacking in good spots. read more

The food is very good, it's reasonably priced, and the ambiance isn't bad. It's a casual dining restaurant that's fairly busy. The service is sometimes lacking as they seem to either be under-staffed or the staff is young, too friendly with each other, or just not experienced enough to be as attentive as I believe most customers will expect them to be. First off a lot can be said about the quality of chips and salsa they bring you. Very unremarkable but at least you were not filling up on that before the food came. Lots of empty drink glasses so the service was not great. They we very slow the whole night. I ate one enchilada off my combo, tasted the beans, didn't eat the rice either. I've been back to this place 4 times since they've opened. Firstly, I LOVE their salsa. I've seen a few folks complain about it and I am shocked because it's literally the best salsa I have ever had. Super flavorful, slight spice, very fresh. I've gotten a few of their chicken dishes in different type or cream sauces which were very tasty. And I loved their carne asada. Ordered the three taco combo - one shredded chicken, one shredded beef, and one ground beef. Wish they had come out on one of those taco stands. Tacos were full of watery liquid that ran out of the taco onto the other tacos on the plate saturating the tortilla and not in a good way. Ground beef taco was good, shredded chicken was ok, shredded beef had a weird spice in it and not at all to my liking. Salsa was good. Ordered guacamole. I don't recommend it. Our server (male) was great but at the end a young woman took over for payment. When she brought us our credit cards back we asked why it was for more than anticipated. She told us there was a fee for using our cards. I pointed out that they are obligated to disclose that to patrons beforehand and she rolled her eyes at me. Customer service apparently is not included. Liked the ambiance. Hurry in if you want to try it - I suspect they won't last long which is a shame because I really wanted them to be good.
