I am writing to formally share an incident that left me deeply disappointed and uncomfortable at your Delray Beach Zona Fresca location on Linton Blvd. Today, I walked in holding my 5lb Pomeranian in my arms. I politely asked the cashier, Nathalia, for a cup of water. Before I could even finish my request, she cut me off by loudly stating "no pets are allowed," referencing the sign on the door. I want to be clear: I fully respect your policy. I had no intention of dining inside and only planned to quickly get water and leave--just as I saw two other families with dogs waiting outside. What troubled me was not the policy, but the manner in which Nathalia addressed me. She refused to provide water and did so by raising her voice in front of other customers. She told me to "drop the dog" on the floor if I wanted water, and when I did not respond to this demeaning instruction, she suddenly shifted and offered to "meet me halfway" by getting the water herself while I held my dog. At this point, I took a photo of the location because I felt the situation was escalating and inappropriate. When Nathalia noticed, she became irate, snatched back the water, and sarcastically instructed me to "make sure you tell corporate my name is Nathalia and spell it right!" I left feeling not only humiliated but also concerned that her treatment may have carried racial undertones. As a Black woman, I cannot ignore how her tone and demeanor toward me felt particularly dismissive and hostile in a way that went beyond enforcing company policy. My husband and I are regular customers who live within walking distance, and I've always appreciated having Zona Fresca as part of our neighborhood. This experience, however, was jarring and has shaken my trust in the brand's commitment to respect and hospitality. I am bringing this to your attention because I believe no customer should be spoken to or treated in such a way. I ask that this matter be reviewed seriously and addressed appropriately so that other patrons don't endure the same experience. Thank you for taking the time to hear my concerns. They have amazing food and I've always had great service. But unfortunately, at this location, this lady by the name of Natalie, she had long blonde hair, and she was very rude as when I asked her to repeat back my order she was rolling her eyes and being kind of snob towards me, and I found that to be very disrespectful. I asked her if she was having a OK day replied, yes, but the way that she was treating me seemed otherwise. The service was excellent, and my food order came out very quickly. I like that the chips and salsa are complimentary with a food purchase. The restaurant was super clean, and as soon as we got up after eating, the table was wiped down. I like that they have added a few items to their menu, but I do wish they had ground beef for their burritos. I usually get the salad with chopped grilled chicken, but this time, I got 2 chicken tacos. One gringo style with lettuce, tomato and shredded cheese. The other was street taco style on a corn tortilla with cilantro and guacamole. The portion size was excellent. My husband ordered a refried bean burrito and added chopped, grilled chicken. After adding some of the salsas, it was a perfect meal. The only thing that I didn't understand is why the register asks for a tip when I stood in line to order, picked up my food from the counter and brought it back to my table and then cleared my trash off and carried the tray and garbage to the trash can. I think I prefer Zona to chipotle when it comes to quality/price. Zona seems to use white meat chicken, whereas chipotle uses dark meat. If I were to get guac and chips at chipotle with my chicken bowl, it would be $14.55 with tax (depends on location, but not a huge variation). I got the siesta maker as a bowl and I was debating with my buddy whether the portion here was smaller or not (if it is, then not by much), but my meal was 11.72 with tax and I got chips and guac, and all the same ingredients I'd get at chipotle. Zona also seems to make the chicken to order. And the salsa bar here is awesome. So I'm sticking with Zona over chipotle for a while read more

First time here during Crazy Covid Times. The tables are socially distanced and there are a few outside tables. Masks are required. The staff was super friendly. I ordered the Garden Chicken Salad (dieting) and my hubby ordered the Machaca Burrito. The salsas and extras are put in individual consumers that you can grab. My Salad was a good sized portion. I was not a fan of the dressing so I put the salsa Fresca and pico de gallo on it and it worked for me. The chicken was slightly dry but there was a good amount on top of the salad. The Burrito was delish and had a side of chips wth it. The shredded beef was tasty and there was a good amount in the Burrito. It was messy to eat but it was all gone so I'm thinking it was hit! I've been here many times and have visited a few different locations and they are always consistent with their food and service. This location has a great staff as they are always super friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, I have not been able to dine in these past few visits due to Covid-19 so I have had to rely on their curbside service. They have been so nice and professional when they deal with you over the phone and when they come to deliver your food at your vehicle. Out of everything on the menu, the guacamole is the best! I'm super serious. ITS AWESOME! I like the siesta marker burrito served "naked"; meaning that you lose the tortilla shell and it goes in a bowl. I'm also a fan of the shrimp tacos because I enjoy shrimp. But, my new favorite is quesadilla. I love to get it with the grilled veggies inside. I don't know if it's the type of cheese of what not but I really do dig it. I'm still a huge fan of the soup! Omg it is heavenly. The one tip I have learned about coming here over the past few weeks is you really should dine in opposed to get your food to go. We had a taco bar with steak and chicken plus A condiment bar consisting of jack and cheddar cheese, shredded cabbage, guacamole, sour cream, jalapenos, and pico de gallo.
