I've had a great experience with Mimo Lash and Skin, I first got lashes with them before my Bachelorette Party to test them out and see if I wanted them for my wedding. They were very helpful and directed me to what I was looking for. Since I had never gotten them before I was a little nervous. They came out fabulous, It made such a difference on my day to day look. Its so nice to wake up and not need makeup. I think the key here is really knowing what you want before you walk in, they cant read your mind. I personally like a more glamorous dramatic look so they put longer lashes on me that a lot of people may not like. I loved them! Had my lashes done prior to my vacation...they did an excellent job. Natural looking but noticeable..I had no issues with them during my beach vacation and they were on for more than a month. The place is calm and relaxing and the people that work there are very professional and pleasant. I'm looking to try the lash perm next. The technician took 2 hours to give me the worst placed most uneven eye lash extensions I ever got. 2 hours of me laying there all to look 100x uglier than I did before I came in . Then I had to pay 150$ for it too. I mean this is such a huge loss ; loss of time , appearance and money all at the same time. Absolutely horrid. Find a place that knows how to shape your eye and place lashes correctly so they don't hang down and fall in your eye. Really great customer service and they put emphasis on what the clients wants, which is something that rarely happens when I've gotten my lashes done at other establishments. This is probably the 2nd time I'm making a review ever in my life lol I fell in love with this place the first time I went with my friend and I got so hooked up! I was just sad that my lady, Sophie isn't there anymore :( I visit them whenever I have time since I work offsite and whenever I feel like I have to lol we need to pamper ourselves every now and then and this is one of my go-to place. I have been to this place twice already and both experiences were great. My latest experience was the best yet. I came after work today, a little earlier than I set my appointment for. They gladly took me 20 minutes earlier and I didn't have to wait long. I loved the way my lashes came out. My tech was Heather. She was friendly and did an amazing job. She took her time on my lashes which I highly appreciate. I was so pleased with her work and i plan on requesting her for my next visit. The place itself is clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and explained everything so well to me my first visit. They also have refill packages that are decently priced. For my next visit i plan on purchasing one of the refill packages as well. Another thing is that if you pay with cash, they give you credit back. I paid $60 for my refill today and i got $5 back in credit. You can use the credit towards the next visit which is great for customers who plan on maintaining their lashes. And for those first timers, they have a great Groupon for $60 for a full set! From my past experiences, I highly recommend this place! read more

I've gotten eyelash extensions here three times. The first time was great I went shortly after they opened. Second time I was slightly less happy, felt like they didn't give me as many lashes as the last time. Third time I went right before going on vacation and I was (am, they're still sort of on) very unhappy. They definitely gave me less lashes than usual, they're not as full. They also must have changed the tape they used on my eyes as they got extremely irritated during and after they were putting the eyes lashes on. My eye lids burned the whole night after. It's been a week and the lashes on my one eye are so tangled and uncomfortable. I keep brushing them but they must have been put on tangled so they won't get undone and now my eyelid is irritated. I am still on vacation and will probably have to get them removed somewhere else because I am so uncomfortable and unhappy even though it's only been a week. I did have some fall a little to soon but went back and they fixed 5 days later with no charge and haven't had any fall 2 weeks later . This was my first time here and it was a wonderful experience. Length, curl, and desired look is discussed prior to introducing you to your lash technician. The place is clean and relaxing. Not a lot of "gossiping" in the background. So you are really able to drift off to sleep. After your lashes are completed they even give you a small neck massage, which feels great! read more

They looked beautiful and the salon was nice but they're constantly falling out. I brush them, I don't wear eye makeup, I sleep on my back, and I keep my face dry. They probably just glue them poorly so you come back for more touch ups. They have you sign a giant disclaimer upon arriving that basically says if they fall out it's not their fault and the best they can do for you is fix them for $30 within the first 48 hours. They do not offer a free fix. I've had at least 15 lashes fall out of each eye and it hasn't been 3 days. I got these lashes on a Thursday for a vacation I'm going on from Tuesday-Friday and I don't see them holding on for that long unfortunately read more

I have been going to MIMO for a little over 3 months now, was super happy and thrilled with everything except for my apt this week. One of the girls does the BEST job on your lashes, so I will wait an extra week to book her and pay the extra $30. I booked the apt over a week in advance (after fighting w the gentleman to have her) so was excited to be getting them touched up. I arrive at MIMO to find out "he forgot to call me and let me know she wasn't working" he just FORGOT. I was livid. Not only did no one apologize, they did not offer a discount, and he kind of laughed it off... I brought a TON of friends to this place and 3 of them were annoyed after getting their lashes done. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Not only did my technician hurt me the entire time while putting the lashes on, they were the wrong size. When I spoke to the staff after I was laughed at. They told me to come back another time to fix them as they did not have time for me. I then expressed that I did not want to leave with missing lashes on my right eye which was the case as well. I was laughed at again and then told to not pay. The next day I received the most disgusting text from the owner, telling me he would press charges even though HIS STAFF told me not to pay. If you can communicate with customer you shouldn't be working there. I have never been spoken to in such a manner as a human being let alone a customer. Before kelly started on my lashes she brought me a bottle of water and set me up on the table so that I was cozy and comfortable. Now, it was my FIRST TIME getting lashes, and although I loved them, I thought perhaps they were a tad longer than I was comfortable with for day to day wear. When I went back the next day to ask if she could make an adjustment, Kelly was completely receptive. She spent nearly forty minutes with me at no charge and I left with the lash aesthetic I had wanted. She's very talented and just lovely! My first time at Mimo Lash was this past week. I purchased a $60 groupon for a "first time full set". (I probably should have purchased the $90 offer which includes your first "re-fill".. oh well.) My experience was great!! The moment I walked in the door the receptionist knew my name. She explained all options to me. I am glad I went with the slightly longer lashes. Although they are long, they aren't thick. I usually wear a lot of mascara so I like the thick look. It took 1.5 hours to glue the lashes on but it was relaxing. They play spa music. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep during half of it. The night following the procedure my eyes did feel a little sore. I think I just needed to get used to it. But now 4 days later I don't even know the lashes are on! It feels so natural. I do not know how I am going to keep up with it. Going every 2 weeks is going to be challenging (and expensive). WENT FOR BROWS ONLY: I wanted so badly to love this place - I've never been and it is so close to my place. I went for an eyebrow tint and I said to the woman I didnt want them too dark since I have light hair. She put the dye on for about 60 seconds and wiped it off. Then she tells me to look and they didnt look ANY different than when I walked in - tints usually provide a fuller look and shape, and my brows look exactly the same as I walked in with and I am $30 poorer. I am very bummed - even I know ANY eyebrow tint takes AT LEAST 5 to 10 minutes to set. Waste of money - I hope they improve! I'm sure they are good at lashes, just not the best for brows. read more
