I first reached out to Rick on Yelp and he actually responded even though the shop was closed and it was his day off. He told me to stop by for a quote, and when I came in he took the time to look over everything carefully and explain my options. My Honda S2000 convertible top is shrinking and the rear glass had fallen off, which is not an easy job. Rick offered to glue the glass back in at a very fair price, but he was very honest and said he couldn't guarantee it would hold because the top is shrinking. What really impressed me was that he said if the glue repair doesn't work, he would credit the cost of that repair toward a full top replacement. That level of honesty and fairness is hard to find. He also looked at my seats and told me that if I bring in seat covers, he can wrap them for me, and he gave me a fantastic quote for that work as well. Rick was extremely patient and let me ask a ton of questions without ever making me feel rushed. You can tell he really knows his craft and cares about doing things the right way. I also saw some of the other cars he was working on and the quality of his work looked excellent. He is busy (for good reason), but he was still able to fit me into his schedule about two weeks out. I'm really excited to have him work on my S2000 and get the car looking brand new again. It's not easy to find honest shops anymore, but Rick is definitely one of the good ones.

In the end, I went with his suggestion. I also had him replace my horn that was dying (he founds lots of corrosion probably due to me living next to the coast) and hardwire my front and rear cameras. All the work was done quickly and at super reasonable pricing! FYI Miguel only does installation and doesn't provide any products, but will suggest products for you to get. Highly recommend him!

We needed to get our car back to the dealership in Santa Rosa so we could get it fixed and arrange for a rental car. We spent hours on the phone with AAA trying to arrange a tow, only to have one company cancel on us and another pushing back their ETA by 5-6 hours and generally acting rude/annoyed. When we explained our dilemma to Santa Rosa Towing Service, they kindly agreed to see what they could do, even though our location was technically further away than the areas they technically serve. The dispatchers were friendly and communicative, and they were able to get a truck to us within two hours of calling. Martin, our tow truck driver was incredibly professional and friendly, and helped us feel at ease in a stressful situation.

Thankfully my insurance covers this. I called insurance and filed a claim, and although I had a choice of repair shops, they recommended Healdsburg Auto Glass (as did a friend). Love a good recommendation and convenient location. John at Healdsburg Auto Glass was super responsive and helpful - he confirmed that he could order the specific windshield needed for my car and had me scheduled within a week's time. I dropped my car off with the friendly John and Jordan in the morning on my scheduled day, and it was ready by midday. I paid my $100 deductible, signed the quick paperwork, and was on my way. Thanks guys! John said that if I ever get just a chip (rather than crack) in my windshield, that it's an easy repair for him. He'll be my first call!

My son uses Charlie for all of his automotive needs so I took my truck to him to fix the window. I also had a broken fan that I figured id have him fix as well as a sensor that needed to be replaced. After leaving the truck there, Charlie noticed that there was a small leak so did a pressure test on the water pump, and there was a leak. We had him replace that just to be safe. But here is the kicker... A couple months back the truck started making a rattling noise so we took it to Ford. They told us it was the transmission and that to diagnose it, they would have to take it apart. Thats a lot of money just to find the problem. We decided not to do that just yet (because I didnt have an arm and a leg to spare) but it turns out the noise was coming from the water pump and not from the transmission at all. We would have been out so much money just for them to not even fix the problem, because no one mentioned that it could be coming from the water pump. So not only was Charlie honest and reasonably priced, but he saved us from making an expensive mistake. Also, with everything that we needed done I was expecting not to have my truck for at least a week, but it was only 2 days. I highly recommend Dunleavy Automotive if you're looking for honest, reliable mechanic! We are now lifers!
