I was recommended Randy Hanson when someone hit me & i needed repair... but the insurance kept pressuring me to go to their "preferred" place instead. I'm so glad i stayed firm bc i had a GREAT experience at Randy Hanson. It was easy, they were friendly & they did not charge me for storage & they gave me a really nice loaner car at no charge. Unfortunately, another guy hit me while i had their car, but they were really nice about it (they gave a great quote & the person took care of it). The staff is really great, especially the front office girl. They used Hyundai parts & my car looked good as new! AND THEY WASHED IT! A few weeks ago I stopped by to get an estimate and they were super great! I had run over a parking curb and it knocked the molding piece that runs below my doors off its track. There was no visible damage to the car, not even a paint scratch, except that the molding piece was not aligned anymore. I was really worried that it was going to cost me a lot of money to fix. While I was showing the front office lady the problem for the estimate, one of the guys walked by and she asked if he could fix this. He said yes and just popped the molding back in. Wow! I was super impressed. Not only did he pop the molding back in he even installed a fastener to keep it in place. I asked how much I owed them and they said $0. Yes, $0. I really wished that I had gotten the names of both people who helped me, but in my excitement I didn't. This is my second experience with Tandy Hanson Autobody. I will never go anywhere else if I can help it. Let me tell you about Lexi. From the first phone call, she was welcoming, listened well. When I brought my car in, she immediately reviewed the damage, took photos and called over Randy himself to take a look and share his opinion. The paperwork was minimal. The office staff is so upbeat and positive. When I walked into the office and Lexi was still outside, another coworker jumped up from her desk and came out to greet me. My husband was out of town and so while I didn't need a loaner car, I did need a lift home and a pick up today. I live about 20 minutes away but they were very agreeable to shuttle me. When Lexi arrived today to pick me up, another coworker followed her so I did not have to drive back to the shop. The deliverable- my car was repaired to look like new. I gave up on this fraud. Around June I started talking to Randy about my vehicle. He claimed he would get back to me in a few days. I waited a month and nada. I called and was told he would get back to me right away, he was really busy. I waited another month and no call. It's now December and he never started work on the vehicle or called. He went in to hiding. I went with a friend to help with the vehicle. Randy will not call you back. He will claim he wants the work but really doesn't. Just don't waste your time. I'll try to make this as short as possible with also covering the details but I will never use a different autobody shop again after the way they continuously treat myself and now my grandma with such compassion. She was coming from out of town to dog sit while me and the rest of my family were going out of town, our flight left that night and a few hours before we had to leave my grandma arrived at our house with her side mirror broken off, scratched paint, and a dent in her driver side door from a mattress that flew off a truck. She was sweating, still shook up, and unsure of what to do next as the guy tried to fix the mirror himself and told her to meet him back at the hardware store the next day. That is when I interfered and called Randy Hanson autobody and told them that I didn't feel comfortable with my grandma meeting some guy who might talk her into letting him do whatever to her car(since she is quite possibly the nicest lady every). They had me tell my grandma to go to their shop that day or the next and the random guy could meet her there if he wanted and someone from Randy Hanson's would be with my Grandma so she wasn't alone and they could also look at the car to make sure things were taken care of appropriately. We left the guy a message but he never responded, my grandma went to Randy Hanson's the next day where they looked at everything and gave her a quote of the cost and told her they would help her with a temporary driver side mirror and contacting the insurance for her as well. She was SO relieved and the rest of my family and myself were even more relieved knowing that even though we weren't with her that she was being taken care of and comforted in her time of stress. She loved them so much she is driving two hours back into town just to make sure they are the ones who do the work for her because now she only trust the team at Randy Hanson. Had work done a year ago after getting rear ended by a Hummer, they did a great job. Got a nice loaner car while work was done. A few weeks ago I noticed there was condensation and water in my rear brake light and it was getting into my trunk a little. They happily took care of the failed part replacement but they noticed there was still a little water getting in my trunk some other way. They were like detectives and searched till they found where and took care of it with a smile. Every one was top notch and I'm super happy that I chose Randy's shop (recommended by a friend initially). I had a great experience with this body shop. I had to have some repairs my after an incident and it was covered by my insurance. I was really happy that Randy (yes the owner of the business) actually found damage that wasn't originally found by either myself or the insurance agent. It took a little longer than I would have preferred, but it wasn't the shop's fault. I'm sure we are all aware that when insurance gets in the mix things just take a little longer. There was one small issue concerning my stereo (basically a cord slipped out of it's position as they reinstalled it). They took care of it at my convenience and let me borrow a car for the day. I am so very impressed with Randy Hanson Auto body. My truck was vandalized and I was mortified. The entire driver's side was damaged. I thought my brand new truck would never be the same. They reassured me it would be better than new. Everything was handled between my insurance and their office. I didn't miss anytime off work and never had to worry about my truck once I dropped it off. The staff was pleasant and professional. When I dropped off my truck I was given an extremely nice loaner car. I pretty much forgot that my truck was even gone. As quickly as it happened, I received a call that my truck was ready. Randy and his team took care of me the moment I stepped out of my smushed car (Honda Civic) at his shop. He approached me and in introduced himself, we chatted for a moment and I asked about a loaner car. (btw my insurance policy did NOT have loaner car coverage) He said that he had a few cars he would loan me for FREE until my car was completed. He rattled off a few cars and then said "Hey and if you need to use a truck, you are more than welcome to use my truck" as he pointed to his own personal, sweet, extended cab pick-up. Now I didn't need a truck but I thought that said a lot about him as a business owner and his attitude and the importance he places on customer service to offer me the use of his personal vehicle. I dropped off my car and went to lunch and when I returned he had an estimate of what it would cost. I mentioned I had a $500.00 deductible and he said he would work on taking car of some of that cost for me. He said it would be close to $100.00. From that point on Randy and his team took it from there and I didn't have to worry about anything else. They loaned me a Ford Focus (my choice from his lot of cars) to use (FREE) for as long as my car was being worked on. The Focus was detailed and full of gas when they gave it to me!! (I thought "take your time fixing my car I'll enjoy this one for awhile!!!) They also dealt with my insurance and kept me in the loop of what was going on with my car throughout the process. My car was completed in about 10 days, my deductible was only $100.00 knocked down from $500.00, I got a FREE LOANER, the cherry on top was that Randy fixed my driver side power window that was not working and that was not part of the insurance settlement estimate!! If I was forced to give one area of opportunity for improvement I guess I would say to have the finished car detailed for the customer, not sure if that is even commonplace in the industry but it would be sweet to see your car after a couple weeks not only "unsmooshed" but also cleaned up inside and out, but I am sure as cool as Randy is if you asked he would probably do that for you!! Overall I was totally impressed with the professional, honest, thoughtful and down-home service that I received from Randy and his team!!! I have and will continue to recommend Randy Hansen to friends and family alike. I will also use Randy in the future but honestly I am hoping that isn't anytime soon :) read more

My poor Challenger was rear ended. Being a car detail freak, it was an eye sore and it broke my heart to see my car's big butt damaged. I was HIGHLY recommended at this auto shop by a friend since he previously had his porsche taken care of at this shop. I called them up and immediately they made me feel very comfortable knowing my vehicle would be taken care of. Took my vehicle that same day and they noticed more damage on my vehicle. The owner introduced himself and made me feel welcome. They Immediately took care of me that same day. They made sure i had a rental car and i was out their lot within 30mins tops. Through out every week, they made sure i was updated on my vehicle.emails and phone call updates here and there which made me worry-free. My hand was gliding right off the body of my Challenger. My car looked brand new, better than when i first drove it off the lot when i first purchased the vehicle. Just simply the best. Great service , outstanding work and honest. A local detail shop in Santa Rosa dropped something on the hood of my wife's BRAND NEW BMW while applying perma plate. They scratched it almost to the metal. Randy came to the rescue and did an incredible job with a small repair. My wife was so upset with the detail shop and wanted the entire hood painted . Randy did the responsible thing and talked her out of a repaint. Although it was a small job, Randy handled it with the attention he would have given a $20,000 custom paint job. My 1971 VW Karmann-Ghia was hit and the front fender was bent into the tire. It had to be towed to my house. My mechanic recommended Randy so I called. Randy came over to my house to take a look and give me an estimate since I live near by. He told me that if he could find a fender he would fix the car. It took several months for him to locate a fender and he even found a hood which he will be replacing this summer. Randy and his staff are professional, the shop is clean and he did a great job matching the paint which I had ordered from NY 15 yrs ago. I will be returning for more body work on my classic car this summer and would highly recommend Randy's Auto to any of my friends. I can not say enough about the service I received from Randy Hanson Auto Body. I was in an accident on Thursday last week and was referred to this shop by my mechanic so I had my car towed to their shop. It started off with a warm greeting from the office manager and then an introduction from Randy Hanson himself. They put me in one of their loner cars they had available and offered me a better loner car later that day as a swap out. My insurance claims adjuster came out and determined the car was totaled and so even though I wasn't going to be able to utilize their services to repair my car they still let me keep the loner car over the weekend. Their professionalism and service goes above and beyond these words.
