We were looking for an Escape Room, and I found this spot online. The website to make the reservation was pretty straightforward. I just picked the type of game that we wanted to play and chose a time. We picked the Steampump Escape Room and it was $40 per person for 1 hour. A waiver needs to be signed ahead of time online. This spot was located inside the mall. We did have a little trouble finding it since it was sort of hidden downstairs. We arrived 15 minutes before our game to check in and the staff went through the directions and watched a short video before we went inside the room. The level of difficulty was 7/10. The two rooms were a bit small for the five of us. The employee was helpful when we used the walkie talkie for hints. There wasn't that much technology used, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a fun experience and I would highly recommend it. read more

Many time we had the sequence or other things right but because we needed to push harder or try one more time that magnets didn't catch it did ruin some of the experience. Great place! We did all the rooms and escaped them all. Our favorite by FAR was Alice's Dream. It was so cute and so much fun! Cannibal was our next favorite, which was fun scary and the right amount of difficult. Stag Party and Steam punk were our least favorites as they weren't as intuitive or linear, and there were some issues with the equipment. Overall the puzzles are creative and challenging but not too difficult. We had a fun time here! read more

I want to say off the bat that I give the employees a 5 star for sure! Super informative, friendly, and so so helpful as we got stuck and needed HELP. Lol. It was our first escape room and wasn't really sure what to expect. I don't want to give anything away because I know there are die hard fans of escape rooms. For our first, we probably should have tried an easier one but that's our own fault. I would suggest that they change the bedsheet in first room, mop and vacuum the floors. Doesn't cost much to tidy up a bit. All in all, it was a family fun time and we laughed a bit at ourselves for being so slow to recognize the clues. Again, the employees were wonderful! P.S. make sure to call if your a local for tips on the local discount & bring a little cash to tip if you feel so inclined. read more

This place got me addicted to escape rooms! Me and my husband went to Vegas on our first trip without kids and wanted to do something interesting and fun. We decided pretty quickly we wanted to do an escape room and decided to do this one since it was the closest to where we stayed and had a time that worked well for us, it also had an escape room we were interested in, the cannibal one, which is 9/10 despite it being our first ever. I'll be honest I was terrified the entire time, I won't give any spoilers but if you startle easily be prepared. You get unlimited hints if you need it but are limited to 3 if you want to make the leaderboard. We used 4 in the end but pretty good for our first one! We ended up doing another one the following day immediately before leaving to catch our plane, the Alice in Wonderland one. It was just as fun but not as scary! I want to go back to this place every time we go to Vegas now and do all the mazes! read more

Another Vegas trip, another escape room. My Experience Level: 39th room Room: Steampunk Train Price: $41.55/person including fees Group Size: 9, most of which were first timers. I felt there wasn't enough for everyone to do, but this may be due to my experience level. Theming: Good decor and props. Puzzles: They did not feel intuitive, and we had to ask for a lot of hints. The room is linear, so this adds to it feeling like not enough for everyone if you have a large group size, since after you search the room everyone is pretty much working on a puzzle at a time. Hint System: Walkie talkie Outcome: Escaped with 11 minutes to spare I think. Again, we did ask for a lot of hints to keep the game moving. Parking/Location: Located inside the Fashion Show Mall, so it shares the garage parking for it. Would I Return: I enjoyed Cannibal and Stag Party a lot more than this one, so I would still come back to try Alice's Dream. read more

We just went here today, 1/20/24 at 3:15pm for the Stag Party escape room. We were excited to play this game as this was our first time here, however, our experience was not what we expected. While we acknowledge these issues we had were at no fault of the staff, we do want to express or dissatisfaction with the game. There were a couple of puzzles we were attempting to complete and we found ourselves unable to move on to the next step, only to find out that we were doing the puzzles correctly, but the actual puzzles were just not working due to the puzzles being outdated/old. These stalls in our game put us back about 5 minutes for each puzzle (roughly setting us back 10-15 minutes on our total game time). While we were stuck, we asked for hints. Our game master was telling us to do exactly what we had been doing- we then told him we had been doing the puzzle the exact way he was explaining it and it was not working. So he had to come into the room to do it for us. He then said he would only add 2 minutes to our time when again, we were attempting at this puzzle for more than 5 minutes at this point. On another one of the puzzles, we repeatedly put the pattern in- and the buttons on the machine again are outdated/old that they kept getting stuck and didn't allow us to move on to the next step. We ended up finishing with only 1 minute and some seconds left due to these setbacks. We have done over 35+ escape rooms so of course we know not every escape room is supposed to be perfect. With that being said, the production of this escape room is very outdated and needs work. We also would have appreciated if the game master actually told us we were doing it correctly but it was the room itself that was not working- at least then we would not have wasted so much time trying to make it work. Overall, we did not enjoy our experience here and were pretty frustrated with the game play and quality. read more

Highly do not recommend if you are an escape room enthusiast. It is very cheaply made. Everything looks like its been done by a child. A lot of the puzzles were based on searching and reading. It was not fun. Our game master was not enthusiastic, and she placed us on hold when asking for a clue. This escape room is great for first timers. read more

Booked Alice's Dream for a group of 4. Very smooth and pleasant check in process once we got there and it was super easy to sign the waivers. We ended up getting out with 11 minutes left and we only needed a few hints. But some of the rooms were pretty tricky!! We will absolutely be back to do Cannibal! read more

Love this! A fun way to get the whole family (and friends) involved in working together and solve the mystery! We as a group seven did the Steampunk room. The story behind this maze was a scientist went missing and that you're trapped inside the room looking for clues to find him and get out. (without giving too much away). In our group, we had 3 kids around 10 years old. At first it didn't appear scary, it did knock their socks off a bit with every clue found and new clues appear! The suspense is pretty intense, a little much for these munchkins as they were yelling almost the whole time. We were told that these groups were better off around 4-5 people and I find that true as the more people you have, the more confusing it can be. But no problem, you'll have a walkie-talkie as you'll be talked into the clues if you need help. What we had problems with was some of the clues didn't work out as it was wrong. The lady over the 2-way ended up giving us the answers to some of these. Without them, we would've never escaped in time. No cameras or phones are allowed inside the room and they have a small locker and small lock to pack your bags or belongings in the lobby area. The lobby area is quite small, definitely barely fit our large party of 15 with a few standing. A few tips to take in in my review: Definitely go to the bathroom first before entering. (especially before the mall closes). The closest is near the Disney store I believe. We were told to go to the up upstairs after the mall closed and unfortunately, those doors were locked except for the really dirty Family Restroom. Another tip to take in is where you should park. Mind Twist is located about the middle of the mall near Saks/ Urban Outfitters. If you can find HoneyMee, you'll find it. So park as close as you can to this and take the escalator if you're on another level. We didn't have any problems but our friends who parked at the other end of the mall had a "Real" escape from the mall fiasco as their side of the garage was locked. They did manage to escape eventually and definitely makes for a better story. We paid $40 a person here and think the kid's pricing were a little high since they were the same as the adult pricing. Love having this at the Fashion Show mall as parking is still free here. We did hear that these rooms might be temporary and they'll move to another part of the mall. You won't find them on thefashionshow.com just yet, but if you want something to do other than going to circus circus with the kids, this is a better bet. read more

Recently played Alice's Dream and had a blast. I recommend this to people who want an immersive experience. Without spoiling things too much we got to put on outfits and experience going down the rabbit hole. The puzzles were creative but a couple were a bit worn down from the nature of their use. In my opinion, 2 people were the perfect amount for this room and maybe 4 at max. Anymore would feel a bit cramped and some people wouldn't have things to do. It follows a mostly linear progression so don't expect much splitting up. All in all it was super creative and lots of fun. Hopefully they can get some of the little things cleaned/repaired. read more

I was cautiously optimistic when I heard this room opened--I had been to enough bad rooms that I didn't want to get my hopes up, but still, I couldn't help but cross my fingers when I booked my first room here. Our group of four did Cannibal, which was my 65th room overall. There were some aspects of this game that I hadn't seen before and really enjoyed (but you'll have to go find out because no spoilers here). Our group thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and we are--I hate to say it, but it's true--somewhat snobbish when it comes to escape rooms. But we loved this one. The owners were there when we went and they were so friendly and showed such an interest in our experience. We could tell they love what they do.
