We booked online and arrived about 10 min early. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They checked us in right away and told us to wait until our game time. While waiting, I noticed they offer ice cream and drinks for purchase, which is a nice touch. When it was time to start, they played a short intro video and then walked us to our game room. We played 'one-eyed Jack' and it was a lot of fun! It started off really scary, but after the first few minutes, it felt more spooky than terrifying. We finished the game in 45 minutes and escaped! Such a fun experience! I'd say this game is more suitable for beginners since it wasn't too challenging, but we still had a great time!

My friend and I went here in October to try out the one eyed Jack escape room that had real actors in it! First off everyone was friendly and we came at night and our game master nova was awesome and great going over the rules and I don't want to give away to much of this room with the live action but my friend and I really felt like we were actually captured and really trying to get away from one eyed Jack! We definitely jumped a few times and we made it through before time ran out! We can't wait to go back and hopefully get nova again!!! She's awesome and the young man playing one eyed Jack was awesome too

So much fun! We did Pandora's Box, One Eyed Jack and Puzzlemaster.... And then went back for X-13. Escaped!!! Yup it was that much fun and the characters come to life!

A fairly challenging escape room that's great fun for a friend group. We were a party of 5 doing the Pandora's Box which was fun, elaborate puzzles that stumped us for a bit and had asked for clues twice. The room itself was pretty fun and there were some mishaps with some props but nothing game breaking. There were pretty good jumpscares that were engaging. Apparently we finished the main puzzle with 21 minutes left, even though we didn't complete all four side puzzles (I guess side quests) and I would have wanted to use the remaining time to solve those size puzzles but the game had ended. Also, we were originally booked for a party of 6 but one couldn't make it so they had given us a voucher for future use, and it was a fun escape room with some thinker puzzles there that may give pause to the most confident of players, so we just might come back soon to use the voucher and try a different room. Overall, a great experience for everyone, from a newbie to an experienced escape room player.

One Eyed Jack! Spooky but not terrifying. It's family friendly scary

This was a really fun room! The puzzles were creative, familiar to enthusiasts, and made sense. I loved knowing what puzzles to focus on next from the spotlights. The set design was amazing. Even though you could barely see the warehouse ceiling, it wasn't enough to pull you out of the setting. This is a perfect room for anyone who wants to try a spooky room for the first time. They have a HUGE lobby! It's definitely enough space for another room!

Came to Vegas and during the trip I had an itch to hit up an escape room and when I found this place close to the hotel I was staying at I knew I had to come Tried the x-13 mission room and it was so much fun! The person (Sal) who greeted us was also a part of our session and her role was great because it really felt like she was our third person along the way The rooms were setup great and having to figure out how to get into each of the other rooms added to the fun Finished it and had a great time! Will definitely do this place again when in Vegas for other rooms

I've been to many escape rooms all over town. With different groups of people, different rooms, different themes...one time, we didn't escape but we escaped on all other times. My friends and I have been to Trapped twice so far. Both of them have been enjoyable. It's not just a basic escape room where you just solve puzzles - this is more interactive where you feel like you're really immersed in the story/ theme of the room. Before going into your room, you have to watch a video of what not to do for your own safety and so that you're not wasting time. Your game master will explain the room and the task, and answer questions before taking you to your room. Your game master will also give you clues via walk-in talkie if you're stuck on something. Tonight, we did a Christmas-themed room. Dallin was our game master and he's probably my favorite. He was in costume and he was totally in character and very enthusiastic. He made us smile and laugh. We had lots of fun! Thank you, Dallin! They have stamp cards which I didn't know they had! After a certain number of stamps, you win something (a shirt). We're already planning our next trip here again!

Been to more than a handful of escape rooms (Saw, #1 escape room, etc.) across the valley and think this place is one of the best we've come across thus far. The lobby is very spacious and clean. The employees are friendly and helpful. Our game master, Haileigh (sp?), was great. They have a total of 4 rooms at the location. My wife and I did Pandora's box and were pleasantly surprised by the room. We were able to complete it with minimal hints and 5 minutes left on the clock. It was perfect for 2 people (wouldn't recommend more than 4). They have a loyalty stamp card for each time you go. Three stamps gets you a shirt and 6 gets you a free room. I would highly recommend this place if you love escape rooms like I do.

My family and I visited Trapped! yesterday and we had such a great time. I'm not a big fan of escape rooms, but my brother (who booked the reservation), convinced me to join the family. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed it and we DID escape! We did the "How The Puzzlemaster Stole Christmas" which is the Christmas version of "The Lair of the Puzzlemaster" from what I was told. I visited with my daughter (13) and two nephews (8 & 10), and it was challenging enough that we needed a clue, but not so much that the kids couldn't participate. It was really a perfect one for the entire family. Our host was Haleigh and she was great. Request her if you're looking to book here. I'd 10/10 recommend checking this place out if you're looking for something to do with the family. They also have other escape room experiences you can check out too . . . even one that's horror-themed. Enjoy!

Took my team to enjoy a team building activity and WE HAD A BLAST! One group had Operation: X13 and the other had One Eye Jack. It was such a great time to not think about work and just enjoy the company and competition! The staff was super friendly and the rooms were very interactive which was great. Highly recommend!

Amazing room! WOW!! This was my 2nd time at Once Upon an Escape. First, we did their "Once Upon a…read moreTime" room. We loved it and just HAD to return! This time, we did "Neverland," their most challenging room. So much fun! It was so immersive and creative. It's an expert-level room, but they also have easier rooms that are just as creative and exciting. Right when you walk into this place, you're transported into a fairytale. This family-owned business was voted Best of Las Vegas for a reason. It's just 1 minute from the Orleans Hotel, 2 miles from the Strip, and has easy, free parking.

Okay this is a novel so I'll start with the "Bottom Line": Love the concept and aesthetic,…read moreespecially as a family run business; very kind game master; would try the other rooms, but after the first one we did: boy, are we FRUSTRATED! We are escape room fanatics. Connoisseurs. Aficionados. Whatever word you want to use - we love this stuff. We've tried many escape rooms all over the US, to set a basis for this review. We were super excited to try OUAE. The website was adorable and from the get go, reservations were easy to make online. Given we were experienced escape room players, we chose the Neverland room, their most difficult room. The ambiance stepping into the lobby was bang on, felt like a darker, witchy corner of a Disney castle. We were pumped! On to the escape room itself... (Mild spoilers ahead, will try to keep this as vague as possible; if the business owners see this and are curious enough to want specific details, happy to chat separately). This room was supposedly difficult because some clues may apply to adjoining rooms. It certainly was challenging: we did NOT escape / finish (and usually we finish the hardest escape rooms in an establishment with a few minutes to spare), which is totally okay, but it felt less like we didn't finish because of the puzzles, and more like we got stuck on technicalities -- You know how it is: when the game master shows you the solve and you're like 'OHHHHH that's so smart!' and you are left nodding in approval and with respect over the ingenuity of that puzzle? Sadly that didn't happen here...: 1. On the puzzles applying to adjoining rooms, it felt like the puzzle mechanics were created first, then the theme was layered on top. The clues and how they were related across rooms felt clunky and forced. Some clues were either very ambiguous / unclear (mild spoiler: am a musician, I would definitely recommend re-drawing a clue completely), or totally broke immersion. 2. There's some non-traditional tech typical of escape rooms here (RFID, magnets, etc.). We had one puzzle we didn't trigger (which ultimately resulted in us not finishing) because of an RFID in a piece not being perfectly aligned. Felt like that was something the game master (who was watching along) should have overridden or nudged as this was a puzzle we "solved" and wouldn't have known to fix otherwise as we assumed RFID was aligned. 3. It was SO DARK. I totally get wanting to be immersive but man... there's an intro video in the beginning that tells you "we will give you everything you need, and you shouldn't use your phone, not even for a light..." HARD disagree. I needed a dang flashlight. We're in our 30s, I've had LASIK, my husband had his glasses on. We could barely see a thing, I can't imagine how bringing my in laws or someone else needing more vision support would have fared. We were carrying these lanterns around but they were flickering so much, it was practically useless. By the time we got to the second to last room, it felt so dark I didn't even want to try anymore. There's gotta be a theme friendly flashlight... Idk, maybe Tinkerbell's wand with a light at the end or something? All in all, ugh... was so sad, because I wanted to love this escape room so much! I think my husband and I would still try the other rooms just to see if our qualms apply to the others, but honestly, Vegas's escape room scene is getting more and more saturated, I feel like OUAE needs to get some of these basic things right to keep up. Again, I love that it's a family business, and I can truly feel their passion with fantasy and escape rooms. I just hope they'll continue to innovate their rooms to make gameplay more enjoyable for everyone!

The experience starts the moment you walk in. The lobby is spacious, beautifully decorated, and immediately gets you excited for what's ahead. The staff was incredibly friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions about the different rooms, including the difficulty and scare levels. It looked like they had around 10 different themes to choose from, all designed to be completed in 60 minutes. Since we had younger kids with us, we chose the Scooby-Doo room, and it was the perfect fit. One thing I really appreciated was how accommodating the staff was. My mom needed a folding chair, and they brought one into the room so she could participate with everyone else instead of sitting out. Another nice surprise was that they gave us a clue checklist. We'd never seen that at any other escape room. It turned out to be a great tool for the younger kids, helping keep them engaged without giving away the answers. Honestly, if I were doing the room with only adults, I'd probably skip it next time for an even bigger challenge, but for families it was a fantastic addition. What really impressed me, though, was the attention to detail. There was a point where I just stood back and admired the craftsmanship that went into building the room. The sets, the creativity, and the puzzle design all worked together so well. You can tell a lot of thought and talent went into creating the experience. If you're looking for an escape room in Las Vegas, I highly recommend giving Escapology a try. Whether you're with kids, friends, or family, they've created an experience that's both fun and incredibly well done. 5/5 Stars. We'll definitely be back.

We found this place and called around 830pm. They were able to squeeze us in for a 10:30 pm appointment. I have never tried an escape room before so they popped my cherry on this experience. I was a bit timid coming in but everyone in the shop was extremely nice and had a good vibe. So it was easy to get comfortable. We came during happy hour which I believe helped our tab. For the three of us, it was $105 flat. After signing a waiver, and a quick presentation, we were given one hour to solve the puzzles and save our girl. It being my first time in an escape room, maybe I didn't realize how practical the answers to the hints are. My advice to anyone going on this experience is to think practical. The answers are right in front of you. We were not able to finish the puzzle. We barely got into the second room with ten minutes to spare out of the hour of time given to us. And the second room seemed to be a lot harder than the first room. But overall we loved our experience. Destiney was a delight and even gave me a parting gift as seen in the photos. Since i decided to celebrate part of my bachelor party there, they made sure to give me a gift which was a beautiful touch to my visit.
