The facility is massive -- it almost feels like a mall. There's a cafe, indoor pool, plenty of fitness areas, and spacious locker rooms. Everything felt very clean here which is a plus. The Sunday 10:45am vinyasa class was advertised as "medium heat" but it barely felt heated. The instructor wasn't my favorite and the flow felt clunky and disorganized. Her queueing wasn't very clear and if I were a newbie yogi, I'd be pretty confused. Most of the class was spent in child's pose or savasana and I would've preferred more time to flow and play. The studio itself is fairly small for the size of the rest of the gym. As a guest recently, I had to download the app in order to get my guest pass which was pretty annoying. I've never seen another gym do that and didn't appreciate the extra hoops to jump through. Overall, if this gym was closer and less expensive I'd consider it but for now, I appreciate the chance to be a guest here.

But the crazy expensive cost is not worth it. It feels like all the money goes to extras like the sitting areas, pickleball courts, classes that cost additional money, etc. The only gym area is the second floor, and even that is taken up by classes. Machines are often broken and dirty, kids are CONSTANTLY running around unsupervised and playing on the equipment, and the gym etiquette has taken a severe hit. You see people filming, reading up multiple machines, sitting for an hour while scrolling, and not putting things back. I had to change my workout so many times because the free weights were missing entire bands of weights. Again, the staff is incredibly kind and nice. But the gym does not deserve the almost $200 a month price point. I would pay $40.

Their coaching and environment was incredible - my husbands words when we got in the car were "I'd definitely move here for this gym". The gym was so clean and all of the equipment was brand new. Coaching was educational and on point - perfect for my husband and I (he's more experienced and I'm more of a novice - they met both of our needs). The first drop-in was free, so definitely give them a chance. Oh and don't miss the cold towel experience after the wod.

I was terrified to pick up a barbell, and in the intro class, you become familiar with the moves with a PVC pipe first. All of the coaches are amazing. They truly meet you where your fitness ability is and give you plenty of options to scale moves and weights to what you need. They also are really good about challenging you enough to get stronger. The classes are fun! They're hard, but you don't even mind when you are working out with people who are cheering you on and jamming out to the music with you. I've never met a better community of people to workout with. I genuinely look forward to going to the gym. There are plenty of times that work for any schedule and you have the option to go to open gym. It took me MONTHS to walk through their door, and I wish I did it sooner. Let me tell you, the coaches and members do not make this gym intimidating or closed off. I was so welcomed on my first day. Everyone cheers everyone on, no matter how small the win. These truly are functional movements and I already notice some ease of the physicality at work. I only have good things to say about this place. I'm so happy this was my first CrossFit gym. This was exactly what I was looking for and needed in my fitness journey! Come be a Covie!

While they have a few locations, this specific one is located off of Crain Highway. The front door is actually in the back of the building, and there is ample parking. They offer three party reservation spots on Saturdays. Included in our package was exclusive use of the entire space, a bounce house, a ball pit, a trampoline, a slide, a climbing wall, a zipline, a swing, and so much more! Additionally, two dedicated staff members led circle time, a puppet show, bubbles, and parachute play. To top it all off, the reservation included pizza, juice boxes, and grip socks for the kids. I can't say enough great things about this place. The staff was incredibly friendly, there were a ton of games to keep the kids engaged, and the two-hour slot felt like the perfect amount of time. In fact, my kid didn't want to leave! If you have a little one, I highly recommend signing up for a class or planning their next party here.

(We had children 4 months -10 years old who all enjoyed activities held for her party) The intro class was free and showed us the whole structure which includes a structured class for your littles to be entertained and begin learning some new skills. Our daughter has learned how to confidently climb stairs, feel comfortable in various different swings/rocking activities and inversions. Which has been amazing to see as she has grown. It's now a part of our weekly schedule to get her out and about. The location is colorful, playful and always inviting. We have been to different classes and each teacher has been amazing with all littles in their instruction, story telling and during puppet shows. 10/10 recommend My Gym

Top Tier easily accommodates a class of 20 athletes, all properly distanced six feet apart, with plenty of equipment for everyone. The Coach leads Athletes through a targeted warm up (specific to the goals of training that day), strength workout (e.g. deadlift/squat/clean/snatch/etc.), and then an intense CrossFit style workout of the day. After all Athletes finish, the Coach leads them in cleaning/sanitizing all equipment and putting it away, followed by a targeted cool down. Since COVID-19 hit, many of my friends, colleagues, and peers were worried about reentering a gym for fear of catching the virus or lack of cleanliness, but the Top Tier staff is working hard to ensure the safety of all Athletes who want to improve themselves.

Cleanliness: gym is never clean. They have someone vacuum once in a while. Bathrooms are gross I'd never shower here. Mirrors are never clean and when they are it looks like they use an all purpose cleaner. Equipment: compared to other gyms in the area they have better machines. BUT half of them are broken and usually takes weeks to repair if ever. They're down to 1 working stair master. Coming from a gym that either repaired or replaced any broken machine with in 48 hours this is disappointing. 3 of their leg machines are broken. They also have 105 and 115lb dumbbells that don't match so when pressing you have to go up in weight or down. Overall if you're looking for equipment I'd recommend it. If you don't care for it save your money and go to planet fitness. Same cleanliness or lack their of DMV IRON opens in greenbelt in the fall. I will be making the extra 15 minute commute because it'll be worth it. Oh they did recently replace soap dispenser for $70 a month I expect more. I was paying $65 at DMV iron.
