This was so much fun! We all had a blast. I brought my two boys (9 +13 yrs) here for their birthday along with a few friends. We did the gold rush room. The puzzles were challenging enough to make it hard but not to hard to make us give up. We ended up finishing with just 7 minutes to spare. Would definitely recommend this place. read more

My 14 year old daughter and her friends just loved playing Conspiracy. It was a more experienced room but the girls were able to solve it and escape within the time allowed.They had so much fun working together as a team to solve clues and make it out before time expired. Based on the girls experience, I would recommend this fun event for groups or birthday parties. *Hopefully they will offer new rooms a few times a year so people can come back often. read more

Excalibur room was really immersive & had tons of great content to enjoy. Highly recommend to any skill level. Puzzles make sense & aren't rage inducing if you mess up a few times. Game flows well & has gorgeous props. Can't wait to comeback to play the other games! read more

We had so much fun at the MindTrap Escape Room! This was our first ever experience, and we are hooked! We tried out the "Gold Rush" room. The inside of the room is beautifully decorated and makes your feel immersed in the story. The clues were so fun and some of the special effects in the room were awesome! I also had my two younger sisters with me (age 12 & 10) and they absolutely loved it! The owner was also extremely friendly. My first experience with an escape room and it was so much fun! The staff was incredibly friendly and they have locked boxes you get to practice on before going in. MindTrap Escape Room in Temecula is a true adventure! We surprised our son for his 50th birthday (with daughter-in-law and two teenaged grandsons) joining in the fun. The six of us played the Gold Rush Room; (all of us first-time "escapees"). What a blast, soooo much fun! Thankful for "clue man Bill" who was awesomely helpful, as well as all the staff there... My family has completed about 20 escapes rooms and even though we live more than an hour away, we came back to MindTrap to do another one. Gold Rush was amazing in Temecula and was one of our best experiences yet. So we came back to do Oz too..it did not disappoint. Strong immersive theme, great effects, variety of challenges, magnetic sensor activators that pop things open and such, creative ways to put clues together. There were enough tasks that we could split our time and work on different elements Just super fun and well done. I should mention that the young man who greeted us was the best "host" we've ever had...friendly, encouraging, answered our questions with enthusiasm and professionalism. It was Great to have an activity we can do during these crazy covid times. We intend to come back to do all the rooms in temecula and murrieta (those suitable for the under 17 family fun anyways). read more

This was our first Escape Room ever. We took the family: my husband and I and grandma, son 7, and daughter 5 to the Gold Rush themed room. We all had a great time! Our children loved looking for clues and helping to solve the puzzles. Very well designed room. Lots of inventive ways to create clues and surprises emerged as we solved puzzles. We learned not to wait too long to ask for a clue if your group is feeling stumped. Once you get that clue it really opens up the game. Very fun and thrilling! Will do again! read more

This was the first time our family did an escape room and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The owners were very friendly and helpful answering our first time questions and explaining how the game worked. We chose the Conspiracy room and hoped we would be able to finish it. The room had a variety of complicated challenges and clever puzzles to solve. I recommend bringing at least four people to multi-task as there is a lot to do. Also, having many different perspectives and skill sets makes it more fun and creates a team-like experience, not to mention that you can pass something off to someone else if you are stuck! It got pretty intense as the clock wound down, but we all had a great time and were very proud of ourselves for finishing with 42 seconds to spare. We would definitely do it again and highly recommend the MindTrap location. read more

My wife and I played both Gold Rush and Conspiracy. Both rooms were great, with logical puzzles throughout and unexpectedly cool set design, which surprised us in Temecula after having played games in Vegas. The best part of our experience, though, was our gamemaster/host, who was the owner's daughter. Her customer service was amazing! and she did a brilliant job providing hints when needed. The more games we have played, the more we have come to realize that customer service and game mastering makes or breaks the experience. MindTrap got it right. read more

Really awesome escape room! They have two different room options that have two unique concepts. The rooms are set up and decorated to where you really feel like you're in the scenario they give you. The employees there are the sweetest and very helpful with hints during the game and really hospitable before and after the game! First room we did was conspiracy with a group of 10 and we almost beat the record and same with Gold rush but 3 people left. Recommend this place if your trying to experience more escape rooms. Mindtrap was my favorite escape room in the temecula area. The way they treat you, interact, and treat you before you ever walk into the room itself is warm and inviting. What can I say.. This family put together two incredibly wonderful, intriguing and immersing escape rooms. My gf and I have done over 70 escape rooms and CONSPIRACY is now in my top 5. Absolutely incredible room, both visually and logically! Had so much fun doing these. GOLD RUSH was equally beautiful and detailed, and I don't want to take anything away from this one. After 70 rooms, we have good grasp on all aspects of escape rooms and these are good as they come. Great mix of tech(3rd generation rooms) and traditional lock n key. CONSPIRACY was more difficult, so GOLD RUSH will be bit easier for newbies or less people. Decorations were AMAZING! was so glad we did these rooms THE family that runs this are just like the rooms, fun and wonderful. They are so nice and easy going, and just enhanced the experience!
