So, since moving to Chattanooga I've been searching for a good deli. I'd heard good things about Mindy B's, so today, I finally gave it a try. So, in my world, based upon where I have lived as well as to where I have traveled, there are two gold standards for delis, the traditional Jewish Deli and the traditional Italian Deli, Mindy B's unfortunately meets neither. Tucked into a little storefront a short walk from the courthouse, I suspect their foot traffic is heavy around lunchtime as the service is good and quick, but for me that search for a good deli here in Chattanooga continues as Mindy B's is just okay. read more

Decided to treat myself to takeout today since it's my Friday and I've been workin hard AND Mindy and her staff are doin all the right safety things! Ordered the Turkey Muenster Deluxe and Peanut Butter Pie. Total w/ tax minus gratuity: $13.11 This place's sandwiches just keep getting better and they already were pretty amazing. Maybe the secret is in the sauce? Maybe you can taste the love? Fresh and flavorful are guarantees with these sandwiches. They're complimented with a pickle. And they're big enough to give you lunch AND dinner. The peanut butter pie is a peanut butter mousse lover's dream! It's a huge slice of light, sweet deliciousness. Not too nutty either. Was looking for a sandwich place and stumbled across this one! Boy, am I glad I did! One of the best sandwiches I've had. And the bread... wow! What a toast on it! It was delicious! And was made quickly! It seemed to be simple, honest food. People working behind the counter were very friendly and made several suggestions. If I lived closer, I'd definitely be a regular. Oh my! I got the pineapple express and it was wonderful. Big chunks of very fresh grilled chicken. 1/2 of a sandwich was plenty for me with the other ingredients (pineapple, bacon, sauce, etc). Friendly service and prompt service (I ordered online and picked up and ate there). Would strongly recommend. Reasonably priced and great options like soft sourdough bread, sprouts, herbed cream cheese, and many more to build your own. Love this charming deli! There is a wonderful variety of choices made fresh each day. Her salads are fab, and also she makes fantastic hummus! Mindy B's chili is a must try! One day I went in for my favorite sandwich called Teacher's Pride. It is honey mustard, ham, apples and some havarti cheese. I left my debit card at the store, so Mindy and her staff searched my name online, found my Facebook and my LinkedIn and called me at my job to get my card back to me. That was amazingly above and beyond what any other Never have had a bad experience. The staff is friendly and the owner is a truly talented but down to earth and a joy to visit with. Please go! Trying some place new. I parked around the corner not expecting any spots to be open on Georgia Ave but there were several right out front. Service was quick and friendly. This was our second trip to Mindy Bs since we are from out of state. We returned on this trip since we loved it so much on our first visit. Very helpful staff since the menu is so varied. My husband may have been a little disappointed on this trip because he ordered just a regular turkey sandwich (thought he had ordered a roast beef) and it was good just not as exceptional as some of the specialty sandwich choices. Fresh ingredients, pleasant atmosphere, good variety, the best sandwiches in town that we've had. The Caprese and The Rockefeller are excellent, as are the pimento cheese, egg salad, and all the fresh made desserts...and try the sausage balls at breakfast time, AMAZING!! Pretty good. I like the location, next to a charming flower shop. The decor inside is bright colors and pretty paper flowers. I had the SW wrap and it was good but entirely too spicy (I'm not even particularly sensitive to spice) but this was not easy to finish. Decent value and standard service. read more

I don't like giving bad reviews but this restaurant deserves it. We stopped there because of good reviews. My husband had a wrap which was ok. I had a turkey sandwich on wheat bread. We took it to go and when I went to eat it the edge of the slices of bread had mold on it. Very disappointing!!!! read more

The staff was patient and answered questions since we were first timers. What a sophisticated take on tuna salad! Kalamata olives and cucumbers combined with tuna and other ingredients. Haven't had tuna with cucumber since we visited London. We are seniors so can't eat quite as much anymore. Next time we'll split a sandwich and try one of those sides we saw in the deli case.
