This Miner's Ace really features the nursery more than the hardware store. This season they have even reduced prices so that they are competitive with some of the big box stores. They had a whole section of Christmas trees in the back aa well as poinsettias. I decided that seed packets would make nice very small gifts for some secret Santa friends and Ace has a huge selection very reasonably priced from about three dollars to six dollars. I also scouted out some more Protea plants that I could add to the growing collection in my yard. They remind me of northern California and they're mostly grown in Monterey Bay, but they do very well here. There was also a nice young lady who also helped my wife with the overall sizing and also informed us they had more options online. Inside is like an ace hardware mixed with animal supplies for horse, dog, and other animals. I wish I took pictures, but my hands were full from the clothes we bought. While trying to load the horse mats into the car, the employee informed us they could deliver it to us today. After attempting to put one of the mats into the car, we decided to opt for the delivery ($50 to santa barbara). They man also helped us load it into our house. This place has very good service!
