We stopped for beers at Miners Saloon on a rainy day while at Yellowstone. Very friendly bartender, cold beer, clean, good music, etc.. glad we stopped in.

If you decide to post a bad review, you review may get the honors of being on the " we suck" board.

We were staying across the street at the Alpine. This was the closes place to eat. As the menu were put down, we were informed of the items they were out of. As I looked at the menu, it made me giggle. Lots of things crossed off, what wasn't were the items she mentioned. The answer is they have pizza and burgers. The bison burgers were very good and the fries were hot. The beer was cold and the whiskey strong. All the makings of a good time. Bring cash. Park your attitude and just enjoy.

Bar area, has to be some cool history behind this.

If you're staying in silver gate or cooke city don't hesitate to grab dinner here after a day in the park. Fantastic beer selection on tap and in cans. Menu is very diverse and can cater to pretty much anyone. I got the cali chicken sand which and other got the burger. My sandwich was great and they all loved their burgers. Salad it game with was great. Mostly made up of arugula. Balsamic dressing was made in house and delicious. Waiter was quick to fill your glass and make sure you were taken care of.

Went here for a quick dinner upon the recommendation from our inn (antler inn great place to stay!) the pizza is fantastic and the drinks are excellent too. Our server, Andy, was super nice and his service great. We saddled up to the bar after we ate; the bartender was complete tool -that's the reason it's only a 4 star review. Which, maybe he doesn't care about because unless you're using your hotel wi-fi you won't get the internet in Cooke City!

Glory Burger with added fried egg and bacon. So good!

After a long day fishing and wildlife viewing in YNP, this was the perfect spot for beer and pizza. Thank you!

Pizza here was pretty good! We got the redneck! Only one size. It was a little pricey, but everything is in Cooke!

Good food and drinks but some of the bartenders are awful. We've had bad experiences with a couple of the workers multiple times.

We were amazed at how clean the city was and how welcoming the businesses were. Until we stopped at this unwelcoming bar. We had dinner at really nice dinner Granny's Rrstaurant and stopped for a drink after at the Silver Dollar Bar and Grill. While sitting at the bar, we observed a woman grab a plastic cup off a stack. Another cup stuck to the 1st cup. The woman removed the 2nd cup by sticking her hand in the cup and then putting the cup back on the stack. We told her she should keep that cup instead. She said it was no big deal and none of our business. She then walked behind us and was bad mouthing us. We felt very threatened. I took the dirty cup and handed it to a bartender and asked him to put it in the garbage. The woman then went behind the bar and dramatically threw the cup in the garbage while continuing to slur words at us. We were astounded at this display of aggression. The bartender then said "You must not be from around here and you should mind your own business!" SHE'S THE OWNER AND CAN DO ANYTHING SHE WANTS TO. We were then kicked out of the bar even though we had just ordered and paid for our drinks. There are so many other nice bars in Cody you can skip this one.

Unfortunately, the Beartooth Pass was closed between Red Lodge and Cooke City because of snow and high winds -- so we took the longer route that included the Chief Joseph Highway and yet still encountered some snow and sleet on the high elevation Colter Pass. Upon reaching Cooke City, we were ready to treat ourselves with some hot beverages and a piece of dessert. We stumbled upon the Beartooth Cafe. Upon entering, we informed the hostess that we were interested in hot beverages and a dessert and she apologized that they offered only "plain coffee", not the specialty coffees of a restaurant down the street. Perfect, we didn't need a fancy roast. My husband ordered a hot coffee ($3.75), while I ordered hot tea ($3.75). We split a slice of Amish Apple Pie ($11.75). The pie was delicious, and tasted home-made. My husband's coffee was good, and I was offered a tray with tea options. However, by the time taxes and tip were added, we felt that $25 was just too much for two plain (non-specialty) beverages and a split dessert (even in a touristy area with a limited season). Our server was friendly, but we weren't offered refills of the coffee and/or tea until after we had already asked for our check and were ready to depart. The ambiance was Montana rustic. Free parking was directly in front of the restaurant.
