Inside, they have a cozy and warm ambiance with about 3-4 tables for seating. As for their menu, they have a nice selection of different fruit tea, milk tea, and matcha drinks. Wifey and I opted to try the Mango Jasmine Lassi and the Mango Yuzu Refresher. Both drinks were so refreshing and the perfect palette cleanser for us after our dinner. Overall, we are glad we got the chance to check this spot out. We enjoyed the cozy vibes and the laid back ambiance of the shop. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. I've been wanting to try this place called "Ming Cha" for a long time, and now I finally have time to go. The place is relatively small, with only a few tables, and it appears to be a to-go only tea shop. The fragrance of Jasmine Tea fills the air as soon as you walk in. I choose the Jasmine Green Tea with Light Green Tea and Floral Notes and Brown Sugar Boba Milk. They both taste good. Just visited this fairly new boba tea shop in Walnut (opened Feb 2025) and this is such a great spot worth checking out. There was a lovely aroma as soon as I walked in, which I was told was the white peach oolong tea. We have been here more than a few times and I am finally getting around to reviewing! Located in a plaza that has plenty of parking, we love that we can actually hang out for a bit! Our go-to drinks have been the Hojicha milk tea and the yuzu osmanthus tea. We have also had their black sesame sago and mango sago desserts. The drinks are consistently well done and taste as expected... and not too sweet or tart. The desserts have been okay with the mango being tastier of the two. The place is light and bright and airy. They have some board games to pass the time and a wall of fame where patrons can take a Polaroid and hang it on the board. It's super cute! Service is always prompt and friendly! I was looking forward to trying this new boba spot, but I was disappointed by the taste of my drinks. I went with the store's recommended sweetness for all the drinks I ordered. I tried their four season tea as it seems to be the store's speciality drinks. I ordered all of the drinks with less ice. All of the teas tasted really watered down despite reducing the ice in the drink. Osmanthus milk tea - 2/5, the tea flavor was not strong and I would have preferred 100% sweetness to 75%. Four season milk tea - 1/5, this may be my own mistake for trying a new tea but I really didn't like the aroma of the tea and the tea flavor was not strong at all. I also would have preferred 100% sweetness to 75% for this drink. Four season refresher - 3/5, the mango purée made this drink a huge step up from their four seasons milk tea drink. There's plenty of parking directly in front of the shop and around the business plaza. I was in the mood for a thai milk tea and got it at the recommended 70% sweetness. It was milky with a mild tea flavor, and the boba was a bit sticky like it was overcooked. I personally wouldn't get this drink again, but will come back to try their specialty drinks another time. The line was wrapped around two sides of the building! We decided to leave after 15 mins since we had an event to attend. At 630pm, we got the urge to come back to see if anything slowed down. The line was definitely shorter (only 2 parties ahead), but they were only taking orders at certain times. Luckily, we were one of the last groups accepted before they closed orders for the night. Although we ordered at 630pm, they said the drinks won't be ready till 8pm. Good thing we had some errands to run because our drinks weren't ready till 9pm! Drinks were good but I'd definitely want to come back a second time in case the quality was off during grand opening. Cups were weird and hard to poke a boba straw through. The jasmine milk tea was one of the top drinks for me since the tea flavor was strong. I was disappointed with the peach oolong cause it was a little plain. They also messed up the drink with the wrong topping. The Lassi mango was good but not cold enough, it's similar to a mango smoothie. To the side, there's a photo board quickly being filled by Ming Cha's customers, adding a community vibe. The staff told me this isn't like the traditional yogurt Lassi but their own interpretation of the popular Indian drink. I was genuinely surprised with the Mango Jasmine Lassi. Upon my first few sips, I legitimately thought I was drinking a traditional Mango Lassi. The Mango Jasmine Lassi starts off creamy with vibrant mango flavors. However, the twist to this drink is the fragrant and floral flavors from the jasmine tea.
