Drove out to Rowland Heights on a scorching hot day and this place delivered in every way that mattered. Got the classic milky and black sesame mochi pops to eat in store and both were SO good. Nutty and most importantly CHEWY. The chew is everything. Clean spot, fast service, though the staff was a little quiet which wasn't a dealbreaker, just a nice to have. Husband wasn't totally sold on the frozen milk base in his black sesame but powered through like a trooper. Lol We loved it so much we got a nutty and black sesame mochi dip to go for us but most especially for grandma. Partial to the black sesame, very much approved. Only complaint is there's no location closer to San Gabriel but honestly I'd make the drive again without hesitation. The mochi has earned it.
Saw this place on instagram and decided to try it. I ordered the grass jelly and coconut pudding mochi and the mochi with peanut powder and it's so refreshing and tasty. I also really love the bear shapes. The staffs are nice here and it's a cute place to meet up with friends after lunch or dinner.
Miro Mochi has such a cute touch on anything you order. I got won over by the cute packaging + bag the to-go orders come with. I preferred their self service kiosk so I'd have time to look through the menu without someone staring at me, but my friends went with the person at the register so they could ask more about the items. We ordered the Fragrant Nature because it seemed light and had the cute bear. I can't remember what was in it, but it was very refreshing and light. The bear was also very bouncy so I couldn't help but tap it a few times.
I love this dessert place! Everything was so delicious, especially the dessert with the cute jelly bear. The service was good, and the seating area was quiet, comfortable, and very clean. I'll definitely come back again!
Highly recommend. Of all dessert places, I wanted this to be my birthday treat and it did not disappoint. Got the black sesame mochi pops and it was delightful. I mostly appreciated the shaved ice and taro weren't overly sweet. And the mochi tasted as fresh as mochi could be. It was a very short wait as well. The only star taken off was the inside was freezing cold but outside was a little dirty with boba stuck to the table. But I get it's probably a 2-3 worker establishment at most. Will be back!
I wanted to like this place cause of the cute panda mascot but it was just so so. The mochi was good but nothing special. The strawberry slush that it was in had too many chunks of ice. The strawberry was good. I also got a mango coconut milk drink and it wasn't great. I wasn't totally convinced it didn't have regular milk in it and since I'm lactose intolerant, I just took it home for my son after my initial sip. He said it was just ok too. I also noticed that they didn't have a panda shaped jellos anymore. The plaza it was in felt pretty dead. I'm still giving it 3 stars cause it wasn't awful just ok. It was nice to try but I probably wouldn't come back unless someone else wanted something. If I did come back, I'd get it to go cause it comes in a super cute to go bag that has their adorable panda mascot on it.
This place was a pleasant surprise! The Black Sesame mochi dessert was so good, and if you like black sesame, this will not disappoint. The mochi was tender, and the black sesame mochi had so much flavor! I loved the filling inside of the mochi as well and it paired well with the black sesame shaved ice cream. It sounds like a lot, but the flavors balance each other really well - especially after you apply the cheese foam. This place is nestled a little farther back in the plaza, but it encourages you to look around at other restaurants/stores too! The only watchout point I would say is that the staff will automatically add the tip amount without your consent. For us, the total should have been ~$14 after tax, but we got the bill and it said $17 with ~$2.85 tip which is about 20% (all without consent). I would definitely recommend to try the dessert, but order from the kiosk if you can.
We ordered Matcha Paradise Mochi Pops and Black & Nutty Sesame Dip. Mochi were textbook and texturally on point - soft, sticky, good chew & pull, and a little sweet. Red bean, grass jelly, matcha snow were satisfactory. No issues with service. It's a small space with few seating inside but there's more seating outside too. I would definitely come back for dessert bc I love mochi.

The shaved ice is so milky and comes with mochi balls, tapioca, milk pudding and coconut pudding- all give a different texture and taste to it. I also recently tried the fruit one, which were so sweet and went well with the different toppings. The store itself is small with limited seats but they have outdoor seating as well. It can get busy towards the end of the day but nonetheless the service is fast and friendly! I am so coming back to try other options and shaved ice flavors! A must try in rowland heights!

Second of all, she collects points just to earn the free panda mug. She comes here so often, that she had already gotten about 4 of them within just a few months. We came here on a week night and it was pretty packed. The place is pretty small with just a few tables. We ordered a few different things for us to share and honestly it was good, but not something I was crazy about, mainly because I like desserts that are actually sweet. The pudding is cute since it's shaped like a Panda, but tasted pretty bland which is typically how it's made nowadays since asians are afraid to gain weight and want everything with less sugar. I'm glad I had the chance to try Miro Mochi after hearing so much about it. Definitely a great place for IG photos!

Here it's this super soft texture that slowly melts in your mouth instead of being overly chewy or dense. Really reminds me of the mochi back in China and Taiwan. I honestly can't stop ordering the black sesame flavor. My second favorite is the nutty flavor too, which somehow feels both comforting and dangerously easy to finish way too fast. I also love their other desert Chewy Clouds. If I'm going to embrace the carbs, I might as well do it with the cute bear-shaped ones. They're soft, chewy, and just fun to eat. The whole place leans into that playful dessert vibe without feeling too over the top, and service was fast too.

What I got: Summer Serenade Matcha Paradise Mochi Pops Nutty Dip Plum Candy Coconut Water I love this place! Two of my fave desserts in one! Mochi and shaved ice! I love how fluffy the shaved ice and mochi so soft and yummy! Especially when you dipped the mochi it's extra flavorful! I also love the jiggly cute panda decoration on the summer serenade and love the coconut flavor! it's refreshing! I will definitely comeback here it's sooo delicious and will try their other menu! The service is amazing, fast and they're always busy! This place gets packed but the dessert comes out fast. The ambiance is cute! Love the panda decorations. I loved all the different flavors and textures in the Matcha Paradise Mochi Pops Snowy Ice. It comes with matcha snowy ice, panda grass jelly, red bean, matcha mochi pop, milk mochi and cheese foam on the side. My only complaint is that there isn't enough snowy ice to balance all the ingredients together. You'd think it reach the bottom of the bowl but there's something else already there so the amount you receive is deceiving. Despite that, the bowl tasted amazing and there was no one else in line on a Thursday afternoon so I got my order quickly. There were no customers dining in at the time I visited but there's a good amount of seats available. I ordered mine to-go and it came in a reusable bag with a lot of ice to prevent it from melting. read more

I ordered the Matcha Paradise Mochi Pops and Midnight Harmony. The B2 Matcha Paradise came with matcha snowy ice, grass jelly, red bean, matcha mochi pops, cheese foam, and milk mochi. The matcha flavor was earthy and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. The milk mochi was super soft and chewy, and the red bean added a nice traditional dessert touch. It's refreshing if you're into cold matcha desserts. My favorite though was the A6 Midnight Harmony. The combination of black sesame, taro paste, red bean, and milk mochi was rich, nutty, and comforting. The black sesame flavor really stood out and paired so well with the taro. I personally prefer the hot-style desserts here because the sesame flavors feel deeper and more fragrant warm. Overall, a fun spot for Asian-style desserts and mochi lovers. Really wanted to give this place a try while I was in the city. I got the Summer Serenade and Twilight Pearls. Both lacked flavor and sweetness. The "milk mochi" texture was really odd to me--it's not something I'm used to. It's not chewy like regular mochi; it's soft like pudding but stretchy. That alone made the bowl hard to get used to. The Summer Serenade was refreshing because of the fruit, but it lacked sweetness. The whole bowl tasted only mildly sweet. The grass jelly bear was cute, but it also lacked sweetness. The coconut pudding bear was better--the texture and flavor were good. The Twilight Pearls had a lot of slimy textures. The taro and black rice felt heavy together, and everything combined felt overly soft and didn't blend well. I would not recommend this. I wouldn't come again. Maybe it's a good dessert for others, but it's not for me. I couldn't finish the Twilight Pearls--it felt like a waste of money. read more

We ordered black sesame mochi and matcha paradise mochi pop. It's good not too sweet and the mochi is very chewy. Just chew really well before swallowing otherwise you can choke on it. Service is great; we were the only customer there. Pretty little shop and decorations is top notch for taking cute pictures. read more

Stoped by for some desserts. Spacious & clean with both courtyard seating & inside seating. Nice & plenty of goodies choices menu, easy order with nice and friendly staff. Inside is bright and cool with one wall for selfie. Their dessert is colorful and refreshing. Not too sweet and nicely portion. Prices are nice & reasonably. Perfect dessert place for hot days or after you had a hot chillies Chinese food. read more

I love mango desserts and sago, this place was perfect! It's on the first floor of the plaza inner court with parking along the building or behind in the parking structure. The mochi bowls are a good size to share between two people, fair amount of mango and grapefruit chunks, and the mochi itself has a nice rice like texture with milk flavor not too sticky. Ambience inside is nice and decor is cute! Nice date spot or for girls night. We'll come back try their strawberry :) read more

The desserts here are shockingly good. We ordered Classic Milky Mochi Pops and Mango Fusion Q Mochi. The Classic Milky Mochi Pops was my favorite! It came with a variety of toppings, shaved ice, a milky pudding, and mochi which was soft and chewy. The milky pudding was soft, silky, and addicting. The shaved ice had a wonderful soft fluffy texture and was perfectly sweet. It had a bear shaped jello which was really cute. The Mango Fusion Q Mochi was also good. It came with freshly sliced mangos, pomelo, and the same milky pudding. This item is perfect if you enjoy a fruity dessert. Overall, the desserts here are excellent, not too sweet, and are a definite must try. I will definitely be back to try more items. read more
I have been loving asian desserts so when this popped up on my ig feed, I knew I had to go get it. Miro Mochi is located in a busy plaza! There are tons of parking spaces and you just park and walk to the location. Miro Mochi is located in the middle of the plaza. You can order up front or on a kiosk! We decided on the kiosk since it was our first time. I went with all my favorite, taro paste, red beans, and black sesame. Also, since it was my first time, I had to add a panda! The panda was super cute but I can leave it out next time! I didn't think it added too much to my dessert except for the cuteness. The milk mochi was a surprise at the bottom of the cup. I thought some flavors didn't come out too strongly but all around, it was a favorable dessert and I would come back for it. The service was great and quick. Overall, if you are cravings asian dessert this is your place to try. read more
This place makes seemingly simply Taiwanese/Chinese desserts taste extremely complex. I've been back several times now, and the Summer Serenade is still my favorite. I don't know where they're sourcing their fruits but it's always so fresh and bright. All the accompanying jellies are well made and well balanced in terms of flavor. My hubby was looking for a dessert place and found this place on YELP. There was no greeting upon entry. Most of the tables were filled with customers. There's a self service kiosk available near the walkway at the cashier. The space to order was very tight and I had to move over every time an order is served or called upon... 5/5: for the not too sweet dessert girlies Ever since Black Ball closed, I've been looking for a dessert soup replacement, and I believe I finally found it in Miro Mochi. It has been my go to spot this past month, and I've brought multiple parties already, all of whom enjoyed this immensely. If you're looking for something hot, menu items A6-A10 can be made hot, while everything else comes chilled. Their workers said their panda jellies are made without gelatin, so those who are vegetarian and vegan might be able to dine here. Some of their items include milk mochi, which would be made with dairy, so definitely check in with staff for which menu items include dairy. My favorite item is probably the Osmanthus Rice dessert with Peach Gum, since is light, fragrant, and not excessively sweet. My least favorite is their black sesame drink, because the black sesame isn't finely powdered, and gets caught in my throat. Everything else: The store is rather small in size, kept incredibly clean, and decorated in panda motifs. It has limited indoor seating, with a couple of broken chairs. There's a self ordering kiosk and a water dispenser on the "bar table." There's also some outdoor seating, if you're unable to snag a table inside. Parking is usually a bit challenging in Pearl Plaza, especially during peak dining hours. read more
