The 'brown sauce' they reference on their menu is essentially gravy, there isn't a hint of 'chinese' flavor or texture. Mings has decent food, but the decor is lacking. Beware.... They DO NOT take credit cards!!!!!!!!! There is an ATM machine right next to the register that charges $1.75 per transaction and no they do not deduct that fee from your bill should you be unfortunate enough to not have cash. Make sure to double check your take out order. I have been overcharged and received the wrong meal twice now. When I asked them to fix it they told me no and couldn't even find my order slip to explain the pricing. This is our go-to for fast food that is not a burger. It is absolutely the Chinese food equivalent of McDonald's... cheap and greasy but also fast and tasty. The only real downside is that we always seem to think of it on Sundays, when they are not open. read more

Ming's is great, affordable Chinese food. You will find all of your typical dishes. I've been here several times for lunch and you can't beat the price - under $6. Service is friendly and very fast at lunch. I have not gone for takeout or dinner. The only con is that they are cash only. Luckily, there is an ATM right by the register. I also appreciate that there is a handwritten sign on the door before you walk in so you're not caught off guard when the check comes. Great prices, and the food is quite good. read more

Probably the worst Chinese I have had locally. The sauce was so salty I drank three glasses of water before deciding not to finish my meal. The crab Rangoon was heated in the microwave without a doubt, it was gummy and the filling was nonexistent. The soy sauce is not kikkoman though those are the containers on the table, who does that? I've been a regular to this restaurant for about three years! I will say it's not the best but definitely not the worst. I would say it's average and for the prices and portion sizes of its main dishes, it's really not that bad. I like the location, prices and staff. It can get busy so prepare to wait in line on Friday or Saturday nights, or after a big local event and bring cash!!! They don't take any other form of payment. They have an ATM but it's too close to the main dining area to use and it's very slow. (But it has the lowest withdrawal surcharge I've ever seen, $1.75, as compared to your bigger banks. I went here on the recommendations of several people. I found the people extremely friendly. The cash only didn't bother me as I understood it helps keep their costs down and therefore the customer's as well. The food came and it look good. The rice was great. The entree however, wasn't. My friend got the restaurant's special dish and it was a little better, but we were crushed. We couldn't believe how something with flavor could still seem flavorless. This was a real feat. The amount of grease made it even more unappetizing. Sadly many fast food Chinese locations are better and I expect the greasy from them. I felt like I was getting what I was paying for. Cheap cost, cheap food. People seem to have strong feelings one direction or the other here. That might make it worth a try for you, but I won't be going back. read more

This used to be one of my favorites. But the last 3 times we have tried Mings we have been very disappointed. Each time worse than the last . To go boxes are smaller and now they put even less in them. Crispy shrimp was quadruple dipped in batter.. Looked like large pieces , but tiny shrimp with doughy insides. Yuck!! Been going here over 20 years. Nice family owned business, very popular with the high school crowd. Couple things newbies need to know... You seat yourself and then the waitstaff will come to you. The tables turn quickly but during busy times it can become standing room only while you wait. They DO NOT take credit cards, cash or check only. The Mongolian beef is a long term family favorite. They will also make some changes for you without issue like chicken fried rice, no vegetables for kids who don't like peas and such.
