I took my car to this place twice and the first time he said my car could not pass because my battery was too new and I needed to dive my car on the freeway for 60 miles. So I left and came back a couple weeks later and he said he couldn't pass me because there was no check engine light bulb on and that my bulb was probably out and I needed to get a new one. I asked where the light was and he said he did not know and started getting really aggressive and rude and told me he didn't make the rules and walked away from me while I was still talking and trying to understand what I should do next. Brought my car in the other day for a smog. I called before hand and asked him if my car will not pass do I have to pay anything? He said no I didn't so I brought my car in, my car did not pass and he charged me $40 I confronted him about the phone call and he pretended that he didn't recall it and was very demanding on me paying him. Due to covid I haven't been driving my car too much so I was a little worried about it not passing smog. When I got it checked my battery wasn't fully charged but the man there said I could drive it on the freeway and bring it back to get the certificate I needed for the dmv. So I showed up today at about 8:10 and a car was getting smogged, but the older gentleman (whose name I forgot) was quick to help them and me, my car was smogged and I was out of there by 8:18. He goes around the whole car checking for anything wrong that could make the car fail, checks the engine bay, and looks around very thoroughly. He was very friendly, talking about the car which was a recent purchase, making good conversation and also informed me my car passed no problem, thanked me for my business and I was on my way.
