I stopped going here last year due to an incident where no one would take me. I walked in at 4 and there were two other customers getting their nails done. There were other nail techs that weren't busy and one asked me what I'd like done. When I said I was looking for a gel French manicure I was told that no one would be able to help me. They were open for another 3 hours and they didn't look busy so it was pretty odd but I thought maybe they were booked from people making appointments ahead of time so I asked if I could schedule a later time to get my nails done but was told no. I got the feeling that they just didn't want to do a gel French manicure because it does take time and effort. But the way I was spoken to made me feel pretty bad and seeing other reviews on here stating that some customers aren't treated well sounds about right. I left and called Summer Nails which is nearby and they were closing within an hour but they still took me. I've been going to Summer Nails since and I definitely recommend them! Do yourself a favor and DON'T waste your time or money here. The owner doesn't care. She is rude & disrespectful to paying clients. She has some great staff who work for her & they are the only reason I stayed as long as I did. There are so many great places to go that this one is not worth your time. If you do go, don't be even 4 minutes late. She will give away your appointment. I had 3 scheduled appointments & she took others before my appointment. When I was literally 4 minutes late on Christmas Eve, she gave away my appointment. I loved the work of one of the staff, but couldn't handle the owners constant bad attitude. I went here for a pedicure . Walked in with no appointment and was greeted by a woman I am assuming was the owner and her daughter. I was told my wait would be 20 mins but it was less than 10. Very happy about that ! My pedicure was your typical pedicure but the woman that did my pedicure did an awesome job . She was very attentive and thorough with her work. The staff was also very friendly and you can tell they know their customers. They were very interactive and talkative with their customers . I did not like that they were talking to customers about other customers. I found this unprofessional especially to be in front of me being a first time customer . However they were so talkative I don't even think they realized what they were doing with me in the room. I also did not feel like I was "welcomed" they were very nice but not overly. If your not HUGE on customer service like I am than you probably wouldn't even notice or be bothered by any of this . I am still checking out nail salons as I am just now living in the area so I am not 100% set on my nail shop but I would def go back here in the future . read more

I did my nails for seven years there with the previous owner administration. Since the new owner, I have been there couple times and they has been very nice and professional BUT two weeks ago, I went there and asked for a refill. I got it done. My nails looks good. The next morning when I went to brush my hair one nail came off and I noticed that the amount of acrylic in the broken nail was minimum. I have to work so I will call them to fix it after work. Later that day two nail lifted from the base of my own nails. I called them and the person who did my nail answered the phone, I explained her what happened, she answer me that "I am not responsible that you are rough with your nails and they came off" If you want me to fix them, you have to pay" I told her that this never happened to me before and that I believe she put not enough acrylic on and that she should fix the three broken nail and then make the rest of the nails stronger" she responded "you have to pay me, I said "you need to guarantee your job, this is not right, she said I don't have any open appointments in the two next week, I said "you should make me an appoint asap, I am on pain", she said" I am disable and working too many hours, I can't not see you, I don't have time for you", I asked to speak with the owner or the owner's daughter and she said they will be back next week if you want her to fix it. I said thank you. The next day, I went there in person and told her I am here for you to fix my nails. She said if you pay for it, I said not you should not charge me again for a job not done right. She said I don't have time to see you, she took care two clients and ignore me and start talking with other people like I was not there. When she called the 3er client, I asked her, Are you going to fix my nails or not, she said, not, I said please, you need to be responsible and she said "I not going to repeat myself. I called yesterday and asked for the owner and she said that she was not there. I do not care for the 35 dollars I paid for but not doing a good job and apologized for it and fix it BUT also treating a person this way it is not acceptable. As, I cannot get in touch with the owner I will try one more time and take them to court not because of the money but to be responsible for their mistake and learn to treat people with respect. I have been in pain since waiting for the owner to call me back. read more

Worst nail salon ever! I had a full set put on July 24th so lasted just over a week and 4 nails came off and 2 others are probably coming off any day now too. I went to the salon again to ask for my money back and she refused to give me a refund only offered to fix the 4 that were off. The morning of my apt I wasn't feeling well so I went for covid testing and it came back pos. I text Tammy to cancel my apt and to reschedule out two weeks later, she never responded to my text. I made an appointment this morning I called around 930 it's a Wednesday so it should not have been busy I made an appointment for 1 o'clock they told me that was a good time to come they told me that was what was available. I showed up early I had an extra five minutes I came in I said hi both nail technicians were busy I picked out my color. I said hi I'm Lianna I'm here for my 1 o'clock appointment she asked me if I called or texted that morning I said called she said OK be seated I waited for a full 20 minutes. They didn't tell me a wait time I don't know if these were walkins or if they were made appointments but I don't know why they would've told me they would be available at one if they were not they wasted my time and I left. I had to be at work for 4 and was not gonna sit and wait for God only knows how long until they could see me. I had never had an issue here in the past 5 years that I've Sporadically gotten my nails done here but I am fuming. I never leave reviews but this was absolutely ridiculous!!! If your looking for quality acrylic nails that last..choose another place. I went there for my full set and the lady was nice did a decent job but the nails didn't even last a week when I called to get them fixed the first time they didn't have an appointment for me until I was due for a fill so I waited until then and got my fill and the nails fixed for a discount of 50% off because the nails didn't even last me a week but instead of fixing them correctly the lady used nail glue to hold my nails in place instead of fixing them properly and when I asked if the nail glue would keep my nails intact and on she responded with "I think so". This then caused my "fixed" nails to again not last another week. both times my acrylics didn't last even A WEEK when they should last AT MINIUM two weeks. When I went back to get them fixed AGAIN I was blamed by the lady telling me "I should find a new nail place because clearly there is something wrong with my natural nails because no other client has that issue." the woman was extremely rude when in reality my nails were not done properly. I have never had an issue with acrylic nails lasting me OVER TWO WEEKS at ANY OTHER nail Salon. The ladies were being lazy and used nail glue both times I went to get my nails fixed which I could have done on my own at home. Exotic nails in Townsend has done much better work in my experience. I wouldn't waste time or money going here for a half-ass job. Acrylics are expensive and I wouldn't waste the money going to people who are rude and try to cut corners doing nails because clearly what they do is not correct and doesn't last. Also every time I have been here (keep in mind I had appointments every time) they took me 15-30 minutes past my appointment. read more

Have been getting my pedicures here the last 6.5 months and loved them! Showed up quite late a few times and lost those appointments unfortunately due to my fault. She treats everyone as an extension of family and it feels amazing to finally have a homie nail salon like this! They had me pick out my color and told me it would be a few minutes.. Shortly after they brought me to my chair and I received the best manicure I've ever had from Sally!
