I got acrylics here, yesterday and they are soooo pretty and very clean, they did a great job, shout out to the lady that did my nails ( The one who has white lighting that's shaped like a rainbow but really isn't a rainbow, but I love that, that desk had lighting!) and look how they are still clean and heathy, and they haven't gone off because most nail salons would just come off. I love California nails! I'm from Boston so I'm used to getting my nails perfected! And moving out to Fitchburg, this is by far the best nail salon I've been to and have been going for a year! They take their time on pedicures which is greatly needed! Also if your feet has callus they will have it feeling super smooth. Not overly impressed at all with the work done on my nails. sadly I was in a pinch after breaking one and having a big week ahead. But the thumb is completely caked up, hardly files properly on acrylic nails. There was no one else in the shop for them to be rushed. This place is gross!! Reluctantly went here while in town for a wedding, wish I just left my nails bare. My pedicure is awful (polish all over my toes), and my manicure looks like a small child did it. Not to mention the tech made every nail uneven and did not cap any nails with polish while she was painting. I expect this manicure to last about 3 hours! Also, they're pricing is advertised incinsistently. Their board says one price and their business cards on every polish station say something else. The only reason I haven't given this place one star is because of the price. $13 for a regular manicure, decent price. The nail tech was TERRIBLE! He's an older man who sits in the front. He RUSHED my manicure, left nail polish on my finger tips, cut my finger, and to top it off... 2 days later my cuticles are raised, short and choppy. The polish also started chipping!! Brought my 14 year old daughter to have acrylics put on and the gentleman who took care of her was very rough and made her bleed. One of the nails was crooked. They just didn't look right. As I was getting mine done at the same time, I wasn't able to pay attention to what was going on with her and her being 14 didn't speak up for herself (especially since very little English happens there). Take note that when you ask for acrylics, this also does not include them doing anything with the cuticles either. The places we've gone in the past always pushed back her cuticles and cut any hang nails. This place did none of that. When I questioned that they said "you asked for acrylics" "that would be a manicure". I didn't want a full mani but cleaning up the cuticles should be part of the $ of the acrylics. They're kind of rude also. Not going to be choosing them again. Especially when there are multiple options close by. read more

I was not impressed by this place the lady was a first timer. She got acrylic every where on my finger. The nails are all uneven on one hand then other and she didn't paint the sides. The lady was supposed to do coffin shape and she did square i told her and she said that's what coffin looks like. I've been going here to get my nails done for a few years now. Since new owners took over in July I have not been happy with the quality of the work. My nails always are very sharp on the edges, gel polish is done poorly , the consistency of the work is just not there any longer. I thought I would give it some time to see if things got better and have tried a couple different nail techs, the work is mediocre at best. The are no nail techs that stand out. Honestly I would give this salon no stars if that was an option. I went in to get a dip manicure and explained that my natural nails were underneath. The man still continued to use a drill on my natural nail. He took off have my cuticle with a drill . I started to bleed he then accused me of moving and said it was my fault . They switched me to a new technician who continued to use a drill on my natural nail after me being cut. My wife then came in from shopping and I told her what had happened and that I was reporting the salon to the board and the hefty Caucasian male who I am guessing is the new owner threAtened to remove me and not finish my services and told me that he wouldn't report them if he were me . So about a few months ago I got acrylics but before that I got my nails painted when I got my nails painted the woman used her crusty fingers to wipe off the access paint around my nail and when I got my acrylics done the man charged me an extra five dollars just to have them longer on top of the thirty dollars they charged me and the woman very roughly filed my nails and cut my cuticle then she missed spots of my nail when she painted my acrylics and made me wash my hands just to get dust off my hands terrible place read more

Recently went in to have acrylics removed. Now, I have had acrylic nails on and off for many years. NORMALLY what happens is they soak cotton balls in acitone and cover with foil to loosen the nails. This time, the tech said it takes too long to do that, so he proceeded to yank off the nails, taking a good portion of my real nail with it. My nail were literally bleeding and sore. They do good work. I was going to the same person and scheduling appointments every two weeks. I made my appointment for the first appointment of the day always. I made an appointment for as soon as they opened and unfortunately was very strapped for time that day. When I got there my nail person was already doing someone else and I had to wait. I was getting more stressed with each passing minute due to my time restraints that day. Needless to say I walked out and will not return due to the waste of my time. If I was the first appointment of the day whoever walked in just before me should have had to wait. It is to bad. I spent a lot of money there and tipped well. I've been getting my nails done for 15 years now and have never had such a horrible experience at a nail salon! The guy doing my nails was so rude and so rough he was literally burning my nailbed with the drill. While filing my nails he twisted my finger so far sideways and then when I moved my body to try to angle myself so it wouldn't hurt anymore he shook his head and told me to relax and watch TV and not look at what he's doing. They also did not have a wide selection of gel nail colors I had to change my color three times because he couldn't find the colors. I definitely will never be returning here read more
