Great experience! I called and spoke with Autumn who was friendly and informative. She helped me make an appointment for an oil change for my Discovery later in the week. I found the entire staff at the location to be friendly and welcoming. The free inspection (with a video texted to my phone) was informative and zero-pressure. The oil change took quite a bit longer than I expected and unfortunately there was a miscommunication between the quoted price and the actual charges. However, when I explained that to Brett, the very professional and kind gentleman who took care of me that day, he promptly went to his manager, Noah, and completely honored what I told them I was quoted; no debate, no accusations. I was extremely happy with them for that. Running a business honorably goes a long way with me and I hope the public knows the trustworthy way in which this location runs its business. Lastly, they did a superb job on the courtesy car wash. It was cleaner than any professional car wash I've ever had. This is not a positive review, let's start there. I own an LR4, 2016 with 118k miles, I purchased my car in August of 2020, I have been bringing my car to LR Bedford, NH since 2020, my very first oil change to current, always a GREAT experience until now. I dropped of my vehicle for a coolant service light and a drip. I dropped off my car on Friday, car was diagnosed with a manifold leak, replaced rear coolant manifold. I agreed to proceed with repairs. I dropped my LR4 off on a Friday, pick up the following Wedesday morning. Sunday, my daughter and I were driving to the mall, it was cold out so, I turned on the heat, within seconds my car started to jerk, And the engine overheating indicator came on I pull over and shut off my engine and there is white smoke coming up from the hood of the my vehicle, I get out of the car and there is orange coolant streaming from underneath the car. I call AAA, have the car towed back to LR, Bedford and don't hear back from anyone until I call them at 10am Monday morning. I was told my radiator cracked. The woman service desk clerk, said it would cost an additional 2700$ for the repair. I said excuse me, this is not on me ,you need to fix this. So, I made a phone call to another LR dealership, they said this could happen when an air pocket is introduced to the coolant system which could cause it to over pressurize and this is the result. Okay! So, I call two other mechanics same outcome. So, I find out this happens and I don't hear back from anyone from the service department, manager until 2pm the following day. So, blaming it on my current leak but, you fixed that and obviously this happened. Now, we have cone to an agreement that I would pay for the cracked radiator and they will cover the labor, at this point fine just fix the problem. I was told that I had two options, after market or Factory, the factory radiator is not available for three weeks and I'm still not guaranteed that radiator this was on a Friday. OKAY, obviously I want factory. So, I needed to approve the factory radiator, ok and before they order it they produce this BS, word document titled "Disclaimer for Automotive Work on Older Cars" why wouldn't they give me this reclaimer when I agreed to do the repairs prior? I had a real issue with this so, I contacted LR Head quarters, spoke to a woman for 1hr and 15 minutes. I was told each branch handles things different, that got me nowhere but she was able to leave a msg w the GM of LR Bedford. He contacted me, I explained the situation and I was told either you sign it or I will happily tow your car anywhere you want but, if you don't sign it we will not perform the work. My hands are tied, I sign and send. This was again on Friday, I was told a lot er would be available next Wednesday. I needed a loaner considering the part is not expected in for 3 weeks, I called another LR dealership, to see if this fact, it was a fact to LR factory's are available in the US, they are in the UK, I said are you sure and that's when she said she access to all warehouses. OK, they were telling the truth. I contacted the dealership on Tuesday, to inquire about the loaner for tomorrow, Wednesday. I called at 10:50 in the morning and was told she will give me a call back after finishing up with a customer, about a 1/2 hrs later I recieve a phone call back from service desk woman. Again, she apologized for her customer, I said no problem, I checking on the loaner, I kid you not, she says Oh! about that, we were able to get a radiator soon than expected they installed it and your engine was leaking while they were running it and you need a new engine. WHAT! How the FK did you get a factory radiator on a Friday and installed by Monday. But, when was so.eone going to tell me this happened, it's Tuesday Morning, are you kidding me??? I did not hear from any one in the service department about me now needing an engine. Crickets from Tuesday morning at 10:50 am until 12:50 the next day. I was so shocked, I went numb truly, like what FK, how did you get a radiator in a day when I looking at three weeks and still not guaranteed the factory radiator. I recieved a call back from the service manager at 12:50pm, he said this is ( I should blast his name but, I won't) you requested a call back, again I'm baffled, I'm sorry I requested a call back, when is someone going to tell me what happen to my car and when. He didn't know, he was on vacation, don't you think someone e should have notified me ASAP when you literally just told me I needed a new engine. He didn't have any answers because he was on vacation, seriously. He then tells me he is going to have a meeting with the GM and parts manager, no phone call all day, I ended up sending an email to both the service manager and the GM. No return phone call only email, telling me the radiator was expedited from an unadvertised inventory for emergency situations. To be continued... adding 1 star, because I have too.​ read more

Don't fill out the survey right away, they covered up the smoke smell in my car and now I have a car that I can't get the smoke/weed smell out. Will not do anything. I could go on and on with all the issues. *update.. I have reached out to the sales manager and the offer was I could trade it in for a different vehicle but I would get 5k less then what I paid for it 2 months prior (I am trading in because of the issues with the car not for choice)... I would have to eat the negative equity for a car that was not up to standard. No way I am spending more here. So guess I will work on getting all the issues fixed, love the great smell of smoke, seal bowing up, busted speaker, cracked windshield, wireless charger not working, and more... there is also something off with the breaks and the engine start/stop is so rough defiantly needs a major tune up. He was able to get me a very reasonable trade-in value for my Audi convertible (trading in a convertible in January in NH is a tough sell) and a good price on the Evoque. Overall transaction took only a few days and went very smoothly. A few days after I picked up the Evoque, I noticed a noise from the rear of the car that I thought might be associated with the brakes. To their credit, Nick worked with the Service Dept to get me in the same day and looked at the issue. In the end, it ended up being a simple fix and the Service operation was very professional. This review is for the service department. I brought my Jaguar XE in for an oil change. It's a pretty simple job. Shouldn't take more than 1/2 an hour. Don't even need to raise the car up. $276. Are you kidding me. Not only that, when I got home I checked the oil level and it read OVER FULL. Had to actually siphon a quart of very expensive oil out. I really feel cheated and will never go there again. From now on I'll do my own oil changes and know it's done right. read more

Worst decision I've e made. Purchased a 2019 Evoque in February and it's a lemon. We have nothing but issues with this car since we purchased it & it's weeks to get an appointment with the service department. spent 5 hours there a week ago and the issue isn't fixed. All kinds of error codes causing zero power steering, no abs, not action control & check engine light. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks to bring it in AGAIN. only one more attempt and I can officially file for arbitration inder the lemon law. Land Rover of Bedford is closed for service on Saturday and Sunday and sales is closed on Sundays. This is a challenge for a car buyer as well as people who work and want to service on the weekend. Set an appointment to look at it and they decided to move it to their other location to accommodate someone else. Customer never bought it and some reason the truck actually didn't leave the lot. Anyhow they called me and I was still interested in the pick up. Scheduled another appointment to go look at the truck. I had an appointment at 9:30, had it booked for a few days. I was in route to the dealership when I received a call at 8:45 and they told me they sold the truck 2 days ago. No heads up no common courtesy. Awful. I sent them an email and they replied and it sounded like they could have cared less. Tried to tell me the truck was a rare truck and that they had to sell it at any chance they could. I would be very cautious in buying from this dealer. They lied and misrepresented a Range Rover Sport with false advertising they posted on the Internet. We have owned Land Rovers for many years...have 3 to date. We thought since we were dealing with Land Rover instead of a private party, we would receive a quality SUV from a reputable dealer. We had many conversations with the Manager who came across very smooth, saying the vehicle was in excellent condition with no visible dents or scratches on both the interior and exterior. We trusted him telling him if there were any problems we would like to address them before the vehicle was shipped to CA. He assured us no. His sales person said the car "was flawless". The bill of lading from the shipper told it all! Scratches and dents every where inside and out.They did a good job hiding them when they had sent pictures. 2 big chips in the windshield, missing head phones, and remote from the rear seat entertainment units..that latter we found out doesn't work. A warped cowel, faded pealing paint above the windshield roof line. We took it to our local Land Rover dealer who couldn't believe the vehicles condition as they would never have a car on the lot like this. The vehicle was NEVER represented to us AS IS. None of the major problems were disclosed. Fortunately the engine passed tests with no problems. We have had to spend thousands to get what we feel was reasonable repairs done to the vehicle. We certainly did not expect a perfect vehicle, just one that was properly represented to us. We have filed a complaint with LAND ROVER OF AMERICA, telling them this is not the quality dealership we would expect from LAND ROVER OF AMERICA. Also to the Better Business Bureau and the Consumer protection Agency. I would NEVER deal with this LAND ROVER DEALER again! read more

I called up looking for a particular Land Rover, and I found the sales person Nick P. had poor product knowledge, and missed two features that the car had. He then explained to me that the credit process takes 1 week, and asked me if I've ever bought a car before. I told him yes, but I was interested in paying cash, and thought it would be less time. There was no one picking up the phone at reception, and the manager Derek did not call back in over a week, and was told the light was off in his office. Potential Land Rover Bedford customers, ignore the negative review on Yelp...I cannot understand how LR Bedford is rated on Yelp as they are. Our purchase experience was nothing short of excellent. My wife and I recently moved to NH from Texas. We were in the market for an LR4. Before moving, I was shot down by multiple LR dealers as I attempted to find the LR4 she wanted. Then I called Michael at LR Bedford. Not only did he assist me in tracking down the right LR4, he had it picked up from an LR dealer in Boston. I didn't have to do anything other than pick up my wife's awesome new ride once we made the move from TX. Michael and Ryan were both very helpful and responsive as I was setting up this transaction from 2,500 miles away. They took care of everything from getting us a great rate on our financed portion to finding the LR4 we wanted. And they made sure that the vehicle was ready on the date that we wanted to pick it up. Although the people there were very nice, and accommodating (and the little dachsund was awesome)... I can't say I'm particularly impressed. My car went in for an airbag recall and a couple of other mechanical issues. I'm a little over an hour away from the dealership, the car broke down on the way and had to be towed in - basically leaving me at their mercy. They were not able to determine what the problem was, so no mechanical repairs were made... and to the best of my knowledge the recall work wasn't done either. I decided to trade it in for something on the lot and they offered me $1500!!! Heck, the tires (new) and battery (also new) are worth that much!!! I did buy a car, but did not trade my Range Rover deciding instead to have it towed back home. When I went to a local mechanic and described what was happening - he knew immediately what was wrong and was really angry that they offered such a low amount when it was a relatively easy and inexpensive fix! Now, to be fair - there might be something else going on with it internally, but I feel like I was taken advantage of. They couldn't (or perhaps wouldn't) fix it, but felt it was perfectly OK to bill me before releasing it back to me! This - after I bought a car from them! I won't be going back. An update.... Ryan from Goodwin's called, but we were not able to come to an agreement - even though I had bought a car to replace my Range Rover that they could not fix. Further update....My son came over tonight and in less than TEN MINUTES he found the problem - a hose leaking coolant. Seems their "certified mechanics" should have been able to spot that right away, since they had it up on a lift!!! I think my mechanic friend was right - they found the problem, knew it was a cheap fix and low-balled the trade-in. That way they could fix it and sell it for a pretty reasonable profit. I feel used. My son will make the repair, check it out for other issues and we'll probably be able to sell it for at least 5 grand! Oh... and the recall repair for the airbags? Wasn't done. read more

I inquired about a particularly special and a car that was included per the website with that lease special and wasted several days interacting with this dealership only for them to try to tack on $8000 when we went to sign the paperwork and then argue that this vehicle was not included in the lease special despite that very vehicle & its stock number being listed on their website right under that special. I'm on my third Land Rover to date and was starting my search for a fourth, until now. After my third horrible experience with the customer service at this dealership, I refuse to buy another Land Rover (which is a shame because I love the cars). Less than two months ago, I brought my LR2 to the dealership with a massive radiator leak. I had a foregin auto mechanic look at my vehicle first and he diagnosed the problem as a valve leak and printed out an image to show me where the leak was coming from. With this image in hand, I went to the dealership and asked them to replace it. They called me a few hours later to report the bad news - they found a "leaky hose" and it was going to cost $700 to replace it. When I questioned the cost of the hose, which sounded like a simple fix, they said that most of the cost was labor because they had to take apart the engine to get to the hose. Two months later, Niagara falls is pouring out of my radiator in the same exact spot. This time, I did a little research first and found a recall online, stating that 2008 LR2's had a leaky valve that needed to be replaced. So, armed with this information, again, I had my car towed back to the dealership and called them to state my concern (even the tow truck driver got under the car and said it looked like a clamp issue). This time around, Land Rover called me to say that the work they did two months ago was still "perfect," but now I have two more leaky hoses. Here are some fun facts: 1. Dave, who is one of the rudest people I've ever spoken with in my entire life, started the conversation by telling me that he confirmed with Noah in the office and "they've never seen a Land Rover with so many miles on it." My car is an '08 with 170,000 miles. Everyone reading this who has ever owned a LR will know that this is Dave's first lie. 2. Dave continued the conversation by telling me that he was "shocked to see how many hoses are inside this car. We had no idea there were so many and unfortunately, with a car with this many miles, everything is going to start falling apart." Great plug for Land Rover, Dave..."our cars are great, until you reach 170,000 miles and then man oh man, that's when the wheels come off." They should move this guy to the sales department. 3. To fix one hose the first time, it cost $700. To fix two hoses the second time, the cost went down to $500, which only validates my growing concern that they completely make things up as they go along because they know that customers are stuck with them. 4. I asked Dave if we could back up for one second and just confirm that the leak wasn't coming from the recalled valve like the other mechanic stated (no one at the dealership will confirm if this has already been replaced). Dave cut me off mid-sentence and said "I'm not going to go around in circles with you. Our techs here work on these cars every day and this is what they diagnosed." So a minute ago, you'd never seen a car with so many miles and were shocked to see how many hoses it had, but now you're back to being the experts. Got it. I ended the conversation by telling Dave that I would need to call him back; that's when he put his "customer service hat" on for the first time and politely said, "by the way, your rear breaks will be going soon and we'd love to take care of that for you while the car is here." Thanks, Dave. My hero. As a side note, I brought my car here last year for a simple state inspection and the bill was astronomical. They ended up charging me for incredibly obscure things, like a new license plate bolt. To be fair, they ended up crediting me back some of the money because no one called me to approve the work ahead of time, but wow. Bringing my car to another mechanic and trading both of our current LR's in for something else moving forward. It's a real shame. read more

Today I had my first and last visit to Land Rover Bedford. Every employee I've encountered there has been rude and surly. I had to make an appointment for some warranty work, so I called a week and a half ago to make the appointment and reserve a loaner. I had to call a total of three times to make one appointment, as the first two times I was put on hold and forgotten about. I arrived on time for my appointment this morning and walked in. The service advisor asked for my name and said he had no record of the appointment. He asked if it was under a different name, and I said no and started spelling my last name for him. He interrupted by snapping at me "I know how to spell it thanks." He asked if I was waiting and I said I had reserved a loaner and I didn't have time to sit around the dealership. He basically told me that there was absolutely nothing he could do and was insinuating that it was my fault that they hadn't recorded the appointment. The entire time he was acting as if looking up my appointment, helping me, etc. was the most inconvenient thing he ever had to do in his life. I bought the car at Land Rover Peabody and I think it would be worth the drive to avoid giving this place my business. I've had many sorts of cars, including a BMW, and even that dealership treated me a million times better than these jerks. I even had consistently good experiences with a Jeep dealership with my last car. Part of buying a car like a Rover is to have a pleasant dealership to work with. I just purchased a brand new 2016 Range Rover SVR. This is my 2nd RR from LR Bedford. First one I learned after the sale the car was re-painted and told I should have looked closer at the car before I bought it as I was then stuck with it. Over 9 years you couldn't tell it was re-painted anymore, so not a huge deal but would have liked to have been told the car was re-painted. On the new SVR I took my time to inspect the vehicle after I told them of my past experience with previous sales person that didn't work there anymore and was rushed to sign paperwork on the SVR. I told them I'm going to take my time this time and turns out the car was in perfect condition and I love it. The SVR is a beast! Service and parts department (Randy and Noah) are excellent to work with and go out of their way to help me with LR and after market part purchases to make sure I get the right parts for the car. read more

I couldn't believe the Service we received when we went in to service our Land Rover. We have serviced our Land Rover here at this dealership before and had absolutely no problems. Since I believe it is under new ownership, they have let a lot of good people go. We went in and had our service for our Land Rover and the Service Manager was not listening to what we had to say and was very quick to respond. On top of that, Service is charging us directly more hours to identify a problem than is covered under warranty. I have called Land Rover North America and they had said that this is NOT acceptable practice.. We are in a bind because this again is the only dealership in our State and we need work done. I feel that they are crooks and this is suppose to be a HIGH End Dealership that you are paying for a lot (50K plus) for a vehicle and you would think that you would get very good customer service...The Customer Service we received was something that we maybe would expect from a "Kia" dealership (no disrespect to Kia) and not from a High End Dealership. Unfortunately, this is the only Dealer in our State and at this point we are going to be looking for another SUV. We would love to purchase another Land Rover, but if this is the only Dealer that we can deal with without driving 2 hours plus, then we will be choosing another Brand. read more
