Upon arrival, we came in contact with a sales consultant, MATTHEW PEREZ, standing outside the dealership. As we were walking up to him, I told him that he has a tough job ahead of him, as we have been Toyota owners since the 1990's. MATTHEW acknowledged that and took on the challenge with a smile. He was genuine, not pushy at all, which was a pleasant surprise. I said, we continue to be Toyota lovers, but are hesitant to get a Rav 4, because this year it is a hybrid model. We were looking for something similar in size. He took the time to listen to what exactly we wanted in our car, which was a sunroof, heated, leather seats and safety features. We decided to look at the Honda CRV and take it for a test drive. Although MATTHEW was young, he obviously learned a great deal about being good at his job, he was extremely knowledgeable about Honda vehicles. they will do a job, but they won't do the best job. I had to go to them for a new car battery three years ago. I want to get my oil changed at Valvoline and they tested my battery and said it was crossing over into the caution zone whereas I was told the battery would last five years. I took my car to vip tires in Bedford, and they quickly saw that there was just corrosion around it, and all that had to be done was clean off the corrosion spray with the special spray and add a washer to prevent for the corrosion. they did all this for me free of charge. Why on earth didn't the dealership do something as simple as that? they are effing idiots because it's hardly an extra cost for them to do that one extra thing read more

I went to Autofair Honda to lease a car ; we agreed in of the payment; sign all documents and contract , register the vehicle, insurance and pay the first payment. They call me back after the 10 days saying the intended need to go back and do another contract because they need to increase my payment. They hurast me calling me everyday 5 to 8 times a day well knowing that I was a work in the times they call me , also 1 of the manager call me if I don't go back they will reposses my vehicle. I went straight to the dealership and tell them to stop calling me @ hours that I am working and let them know I was making a complaint about this. So way way back I tried to trade a car in for a Honda Civic SI. Took the SI for a test drive, loved it, and then they offered literally 25% of trade in value for my trade on a newish car with less than 30k. Just an absolute slap in the face. But then they had my info. So they emailed me saying they had deals on civics and I said I wasn't interested in civics but would love to buy an element. They tell me that's great, elements weren't good sellers and they could give me an even better deal on one than a civic. So I go in and sit down with a salesman and he puts paperwork in front of me and it's just msrp plus fees. I said, oh, I was told I could get a deal on one. TAE KANG literally laughed in my face and said "it's the internet departments job to say whatever gets you in the showroom" Straight from their rep! So now pan years later, I see $4,000 over trade value TV COMMERCIALS! (Imagine passing those costs as savings into your customers) and I submit my current vehicle info as I know from repeated experience with Autofair that if they say $4k over, their offer will be more than $4k less than average trade in.... I select preferred contact as EMAIL and now have received multiple calls and no emails. They literally do not care about customers at all. Buy a Honda, they're great vehicles. But give someone else your money, Autofair is the absolute worst and their business tactics should be illegal. They're not expanding to Stratham and Methuen by offering good deals, they will nickel and dime you for every cent possible, including "delivery" charges on used trades ins being more expensive than new stock in their showroom, or $2,000+ fees on "reconditioning" fees on low mileage used units that still have crumbs in their cup holders. And then the cherry on top, finance guys who act like they're you're best friend until you decline extended contracts and then they become confrontational. worst experience I've ever had at a Honda dealership. came in for a spool valve replacement, confirmed with their service advisor that we would replace the whole spool valve, was assured multiple times it would be the entire part, arrive to the dealer to pick it up and only half the part was installed. $1,600 job and they tried to send me out the door with only half of what I paid for. if I didn't catch them that's the service their dealership would have provided. demanded that they fix it and they did go back and do it again but this wasted another day of my time without my vehicle. told me to give them another shot so when our other pilot needed the same service I let them try again. unbelievably the did the SAME EXACT THING with our second pilot. Service advisor Chris L tried to overcharge me for parts which I only caught because I had just bought the same parts a few days before, and after that they screwed up and installed only half the spool valve AGAIN. tried to offer me a coupon for oil changes as payment for all their mistakes. one time is a mistake, two times in a row on back to back days is just how they do business. trust me when I tell you this place is not to be trusted. your service advisor has NO CLUE what's happening in the garage and vice versa. if you take your car here you will not get the service you're asking for and it's going to be on you to catch them in the lie. save the headache and go to Salem instead. I spent $3,600 here and would have been way better off going to an independent shop. this place is a joke. read more

I was told That they will do everything they can for customer satisfaction.That was a lie. When I purchased the vehicle I was told it was top shape and with NO accidents. That was a lie. Everything was a fight ...they sold me a used car they got as a trade-in with Not only a previous accident, but they also took the liberty of selling me an insurance package that covers a key Replacement that was invalid because it never came with a second key. They sold me a vehicle with an instrument cluster failure.That should not have passed an inspection.when i tried to bring up all these problems They fought me on everything they only gave in because i went to the AGO for help.. The sales people were very nice. They didn't try and push any particular car and stayed within our budget. That was the second star. If it wasn't for them it would be one star. When we were signing all the paper work, we got talked into a maintenance package. Seemed like a good idea considering we were buying a used Volkswagen for my sons first car. He was so excited to have his first real car. When buying the car they said: "They service any car they sell" Obviously we wouldn't have gotten the maintenance package if they didn't service Volkswagens... that would be stupid. My son took it in the first two weeks he had it because the display screen wasn't working. The lady said it would be 200+ plus his deducible UNLESS they found that it qualified as something that was under warrantee and even then it would be the 250 deductible. We weren't aware of a deductible, we were sold it as "if it goes wrong for any of these hundreds of reasons than we will fix it, you just pay a little extra a month. Apparently not. Fine he can live with a faulty display screen for now. Next his coolant light came on. I checked his coolant and it is EMPTY. How you may ask would a newly bought car have ZERO coolant? Back to Auto fair we go only to be told "They don't have European coolant in stock. Go to auto zone." They didn't offer to find out WHY coolant would need to be replaced only a few months after purchase. Just sent my son away to go deal with it on his own. Furthermore if you get the wrong coolant you can do more damage. (hence why we went to the service) Thankfully, someone at AutoZone was very helpful. If it is found that there is something wrong with the coolant system and we go through another issue of them running us around, charging us unnecessarily or any other issues, I will be complaining to the BBB and taking it as far as I have to because their service practices are shady at best. I just wish I had read the reviews before trusting them for my sons first car. After my review on Google - they reached out and tried to "set things right". They then told my son that he would have to drop his car off and they would take it to a Volkswagen dealer because they couldn't fix the car at their shop. Then why the heck would they sell us a maintenance package for a car they can't service? VERY shady in the finance office, which is a shame because now my son has a car that he is paying for with a maintenance package that is pretty much useless. Someone else mentioned that they had problems with service and they were contact the state. I believe I will be doing that as well. read more

I had purchased my truck last year. They told me they didn't have time to put new inspectable tires on before closing that hour.. I needed safe (not even state legal) tires on it. So they agreed to give me 800 credit for tires in Washington. So I continued driving my truck west to Washington state. When I got there I discovered through les Schwab's guys that I also needed new rims because the rims they sold me were all messed up and wouldn't hold air (I had to fill my tires daily, wasn't aware until after my truck purchase. These tires and rims cost me (3200 ) not what I wanted but had no choice at that point. Hard to believe they didnt already know of this. Considering it was Parked and needed air regularly to keep it test drivable in their yard. I also called in to cancel my bumber to bumper warranty that same week I purchased (two weeks to cancel she said in the finance office.. they have since given time the run around for well over a year and I still haven't seen my money! First I had to chase down the finance office and after my 4th time talking to them they finally gave me a refund... the funnny thing is they only refunded me around 800 when my warranty refund should be 3500 They tried to trick me and change the name of the refund so I thought I was in fact paid on my finance companies end.. total crooks! I went into the Service Director's office and expected him to either argue or to make excuses but he did neither. He took FULL responsibility and offered to fully reimburse me, without delay. I recently bought a used 2018 Honda Accord for my son. We saw the car advertised as a "Managers Special" online. It was a great price, and I emailed them for the out-the-door price (other dealerships tend to have fine print that greatly increases the price). They responded with an all-inclusive number that was still a very good deal for the car. Our salesperson, Elizabeth Parece, emailed me a video of the car (I live 60 miles away from the dealership) so that I could see what it looked like, and that it was indeed available. Elizabeth got the OK to my taking the car to my trusted local Massachusetts mechanic - that took several hours. She spent a lot of time explaining the car's features and functionality to my son. The dealership explained how my being a Massachusetts resident would require some additional steps, but they facilitated that process to make it easy for me. What was truly nice is that Ms. Parece delivered the car to our driveway in Massachusetts, to save me a trip back up to Manchester NH. If I could give this a minus one I would. worst place to deal with. bought a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek. they suckered us into the extended warranty for $4500. Said it covered everything and they specified everything but brakes and tires . had an issue today with the bug guard on the sunroof, went to Exeter Subaru. They're awesome. By the way .showed them my warranty paperwork and lo and behold not covered . went back up to Manchester said it' doesn't cover damage . It was the first time we had used the sunroof so obviously it was that way when it was bought.i I was told everything was covered but brakes and tires .they flat out lied . do not let them sucker you into an extended warranty. It's the biggest crock of crap ever and they could care less once they get your money. I would never go there again and I do not recommend anyone buying from them and especially don't fall for the extended warranty crap! read more

As a brief summary to my experience here: Was offered a used car with a payment plan that made it 50 dollars less than a brand new car. Was denied the carfax or any accident report for the used car. Was asked when it was clear to them that they had lost me on the abysmal deal of that used car I was asked "so do you just enjoy wasting people's time." BY A SALES MANAGER BY THE WAY. By that same manager, whose icey personality can only be matched by her name, it was implied that it was my duty as a New Hampshire citizen to take their horrible deal to help local businesses turn a profit in 'these hard times.' Tone deaf to say the least. Finance manager made disparaging remarks towards the aid family of military personnel receive and outright lied regarding current interest rates in the same breath as he insulted my family as I consulted my mother (an excellent resource for car buying) over the phone. He assumed it had to be my father and tried to bully me into ceasing any further communication with a "I don't know what rates you and your... daddy think you'll get anywhere else but they wont beat our rates by more than quarter of a percent." Given he didnt know that I had pre-qualified for a loan through one of the same unions he checked for jussssssssst under a percentage point lower. I walked in there really looking to make a deal as I love Hondas but after those questions and a little self reflection I realized in there that when you act like that I really REALLY absolutely love wasting your time! Brought 2019 vehicle in for a recall. They did not have parts but I decided to do an oil change, tire rotation and rear differential change that was due. While in waiting room, customer service rep noticed my inspection sticker was expiring in December and asked me if I wanted to take care of it now for approximately $45. I said sure. Same rep comes back and says my front and rear brakes failed inspection and would need to be replaced for them to give me an inspection sticker. I went to another mechanic. Back brakes passed inspection. Front brakes did as well but the left front was admittedly close. Even the formal state inspection report given to me by Honda states that only left front failed but the multi colored report that Honda generated says both my front and back brakes failed, which is exactly what the customer service rep said. They charged me $43.35 for the inspection. I asked to have the charges reversed. The customer service rep said he could not and transferred me to his manager. The service manager refused to reverse the $43.35. When I pointed out that what the customer service rep said to me and what Honda's own paperwork said about the back brakes failing when they admittedly had not, the manager claimed it was a typo. My front brakes need to be replaced soon but they passed inspection. What Honda Autofair told me about my back brakes was false. read more

We liked an Accord and asked for the final price, they came with $4000 over the price quoted online. Also the minute I said I liked the car they took it off the website. First I called to find out if they had a 2016 Honda HRV EX, that was going for $14,510 in the lot before I come all the way there from where I live, The girl was nice enough to check and the car was available I made an appointment to come in. when I got to the dealership I met with a nice guy the Manager Moe, who presented me to Ernesto, we connected nicely and instead of showing me the car I wanted he was showing me another HRV 2022 ,more money, off my budget but I was willing to check it out. I test drove and liked it, later he showed me another Honda but this time a HRV sport, so both cars were completely different from what I originally came in for and I was straight up forward and told him what my score was and my budget. He saw I was not happy because my sale person decided to go take care of another sale while I was waiting and given the run around and he explained to me how banks sometimes deny finance on cars who have a high mileage and less years ....So much BS. Finally I was going to leave and the Manager came by and I asked what happened to the original car I came to see he said it sold..LOL I laughed and said that is not what your guy told me, so guess what the car appeared and ernesto brought the car over for me to check out, it was in good condition and so he told me go home I will work on numbers for you and call you which was today. SO instead of them calling me the secretary calls me to tell me that I got approved for the higher car but the bank couldn't approve me for the 2016 which was in my budget., that I needed a co signer. I don't understand but I felt I was getting the run around and it was unprofessional of them not to call me. I will take my business elsewhere. NOT.... a nice experience and yet I thought I was getting the best customer service. If I could give a more negative review than 1 star, I absolutely would. The salesman at this dealership definitely fit all the negative stereotypes of a Used Car Salesman. First, you tell them what you want only to have them walk away to "confer" with others. There were two salespeople right there. How many more people do you need to "confer"? This happened no less than 3 times, more than 5. Second, we wanted to buy a used car. We asked about a warranty. They said that they did not offer warranties on used cars. I asked "So what happens if the car breaks down in 6 months?" Their answer, "That is all on you." They then realized that I was not going to buy a car in that manner. Magically they came up with a "Power Train Warranty". They said they could offer that to me. I said "Great, what about electrical, air conditioning, etc.?" They said that wasn't covered. Again, I was hesitant. After going back and forth and them putting the pressure on, I said, "Please get me the warranty brochure." They produced a laminated sheet with all the warranties. On this sheet had four warranties, the lowest being the "Power Train Warranty". They then said, "All we sell is the Standard Warranty." When I looked over the sheet, the "Standard Warranty" had all of the options I was asking for. I called the manager, Jim M., back only to ask him ... You said you only offer the "Power Train Warranty" only to produce a document and say you only offer the "Standard Warranty". I am confused, please explain the difference. His response was "I lied, I was trying to make more money on the sale." I decided at the moment to proceed forward with the sale because the car was what we wanted and the warranty, at least "The Standard Warranty" was what we wanted. This was on a Saturday. The very next day I decided that I didn't want the deal. I explained that I wasn't comfortable with the car given the warranty and the situation and that I would be looking for a "Certified Honda" instead. I told them I would be at the dealership to get my refund. I showed up only to have some secretary or finance staff come out, take my credit card, and issue a refund. I got the refund sales slip and was on my way. I thought that was very odd that none of the salespeople came out to talk to me. Here we are over 7 days later and we still don't have the refund issued to our card. We were told 3-5 business days. Of course, the original charge to our card has occurred, but yet the refund has not happened. I spoke to Eddie, their Customer Service Manager, who apologized for my experience. He and I had spoken several times earlier in the week and I let him know my experience. Again, he apologized. On Friday, I called because we should have received a refund by that time. No refund! So I disputed the charge on my credit card and called Eddie. Eddie again apologized and said that he would have Jim the manager make sure the credit was processed on Monday first thing. I get a call on Monday mid-day with Jim leaving a message saying he cannot process the refund because he doesn't have my credit card. Yet, I gave them my credit card previously and I have a sales slip that says REFUND at the top of the sales slip with my credit card information. I feel like they are doing everything they can to give me an excuse not to refund my money at this point. read more

The whole team there was absolutely wonderful! Haz met us outside and was extremely accommodating setting us up and trying to figure out exactly what we needed and why we needed it. When we couldn't find something that exactly matched our budget he brought over the sales manager Keith who then helped us find something that would match exactly what we were looking for. They went above and beyond. Jeff in finance also went out of his way to make sure that we had exactly what matched our needs as far as warrantees and stuff that would meet the needs for our car and our lifestyle. Being disabled it's hard to get around and they made sure that they took their time and accommodated me for everything for an absolutely amazing experience! I will say the service manager there has a cavelier attitude about customer service. I have purchased three Honda CRV's from this dealership and have always brought them to this dealership for service. We've all taken a hit from COVID. I kept bringing my three cars to AutoFair for service throughout the pandemic out of loyalty and support. If I could rate them zero stars, I would, I had a '12 Golf TDI that I was t happy with, and was looking to get back into something with a manual transmission, I was able to do an equal swap for a '10 Fit Sport, as I was sick of the DSG and diesel prices Admittedly I may not have done my due diligence on the Fit, but it felt good, so I made the trade The Fit was shown on a rainy day, which masked several flaws in the paint, including one dent and scuff on the passenger door... The next week I discovered the inner weather stripping was ratty, and the roof liner near the rear hatch was stained from a water leak, I went back to the dealership and was told "you not an as is car, sucks to be you!" And they were unwilling to remedy any issues. A few months into ownership I noticed a developing rust bubble on the right rear fender swell, that would require significant repair to fix... A few weeks ago, I had an accident on the rear quarter panel that due to the hidden rust damage, ended up totaling the car, now seeing the damage it's clear that was 10+ years of corrosion they did their best to hide during purchase, given the extent of rust, I doubt it would have passed inspection this year. I am extremely displeased with Auto"Fair" Honda, and will not be returning, in fact, I will do my best to tell everyone I know about my extremely subpar experience. Yes part of this was my fault, I didn't do my due diligence, but the car was clearly not presented honestly, had I known of the issues, I would have kept the Golf, but the lure of the manual transmission was too strong, and my loathing of automatic transmissions screwed me over (as did AF-H) Definitely not recommend, avoid this dealership. read more

I have to say that auto fair Honda treated us very well. We bought a brand new passport and very pleased with the experience. Our son went and bought a car 5 weeks later from our salesman Andrew Pomerantz. Andrew was patient and really made us feel very comfortable with both purchases. I appreciated that he took the time with us and didn't pressure us. We have been taking our older Honda there for all maintenance and have never been disappointed, so far everyone at this dealership have been very accommodating. Bought 2018 Honda CR-V EX August 2018 We like the car however buyer beware of Bridgestone Tires on SUV. I called dealership was told they can't do anything. We are careful drivers and retired. We have 6,000 miles and one tire just blew on us, very lucky we weren't killed. You have no warranty on tires on a new car unless you pay additional money to buy tire protection. That's right, you get 36/36 warranty but not on tires. This is a lot of complaints online about these tires. I've never had these problems before. I'm not super happy about writing this review, but I walked into Honda AutoFair and they were super nice and welcoming. Of course they asked me all the typical questions and I walked in with one set goal that I wanted to test drive a Honda accord. That's what I walked in there for. That's what I wanted to do and then I wanted to leave and think about it. Well, I got the exact opposite, they did not put me in a Honda accord at all. It's partially my fault for getting in the car they put me in. I test drove it anyways to be nice but I did walk in there and specifically ask to test drive a Honda accord. I'm a little iffy about going back now because I feel like they're not going to actually let me test drive the vehicle that I was interested in. I'll just have to find a Honda Accord somewhere else and that's totally fine. food for thought though when someone walks in and asks to test drive a specific vehicle, I personally would just let them test drive that vehicle. read more

Chantelle and Nico Carnucci were amazing, thank you for taking the time to sit down and explain the car scenarios. 1 star goes to the used car sales manager(ginger man- forgot his name), gave him a lower trade-in value ask of $1400 -$3000 less than what their website autofair honda dealer priced in and still had the nerve to come out flustered, aggressive and red as hell when i showed the actual numbers their website out in and the other appraisers brushing it off as they can give all the numbers they want(as if he didn't do what actually is he saying, the funny thing is the other dealers actually inspected it, took pictures and drove it and respectfully inspected/appraised it before pricing it). He proceeded to start with a low ball $6000 less than trade value from their own dealer website without actually appraising the car with actual inspection. I have been to 2 other dealers and have been appraised at $23,400 and $24,000 and 22,000 respectively, they just didn't have the car color i wanted so i had to take chances with a bigger Honda dealer. To prospective buyers, i'd highly suggest take your business somewhere else if you have a trade-in, the Used car SM is a waste of time, straight up disrespectful. But if you're just straight up going to purchase a car try your luck with Nico Carnucci and his manager Chantelle- really nice people. Good luck and have fun buying Honda.. read more

I've been to autofair twice - both times were an awful experience. One for a new car....once for a used car. Both are long stories and I won't bore you (I also hate to relive the events). I'll leave it with three bits of advice 1. Don't walk through the doors. 2. Do your homework and compete with other dealers. It's worth a ride 3. DO NOT take their bait and switch on used cars.
