What a crap hole. We have been there many years. We took our stuff out and it had rodent feces and urine on everything in the unit. You would think with the high price they would be able to keep the place rodent and insect free, but they cannot. It is incredibly clean clean and well-kept with multiple cameras on every corner rooftop protecting all of the units and RV storage area. Bill is the owner & is just Awesome! All paperwork & payments are super easy & straightforward. Great attitude and no BS. Really why I'm writing this is because Bill shined bright & helped me out in a pinch! I've had a small unit for few months & needed a car size unit to store a vehicle for a month, but was crunched on time to get it into the unit on a day off. I ended up only being able to get there way after hours -- and he let me come in after hours, no hassle no fuss! Paperwork all ready to go. **** WARNING ***** DO NOT USE ( Mini Storage of Gilroy) I was with this storage place for three years they changed management and this guy bill is running this place into the ground. I had a high end RV stored there and he Allowed a utility trailer to Be store next to my RV.The owner of that utility trailer was allowed to work on that trailer on the premises and live in it...there are policies that you signed when you store your unit there that say you can not work on your vehicle while stored. when I went over to check on my unit this guy with the utility trailer had his stuff scattered all over my space that I was paying for behind my coach and some things under it and also the travel trailer space next to him on the other side he was hanging things off of another the person's private property. I saw with my own eyes that the guy was working on this unit and his living quarters he showed it to me...The wife and I were going to take the unit out and I saw this sticky gooey stuff on my window didn't pay much attention but noticed it we took a trip down south stop and got fuel to wash the windows this stuff was on my coach and all over the windows we mediately called Laurie to tell her that the person that they are letting stay next to us had sprayed something all over my coach and I was not happy...Laurie was nice about it she wrote a small incident report when we got back in from our trip I showed her exactly what I was talking about and I stated to her someone is going to have to take care of this . I had another small trip down to Southern California I stopped in and talk to Bill and the person with the trailer asking to fix the problem after a long argument with bill asking for the owners number we agreeed to settle the problem I was satisfied but then I got a text message from Bill threatening me. Just be careful of this storage facility. It's really gone down hill in the last year or so...bill has tents all over the property storing crap..And also they allow their dogs to run around and crap all over the grounds without picking it up we are dog lovers but you have to be responsible regardless if you are the management so renters beware!! check other places if you must go there you have been warned... read more

Great place to safely store your extra stuff. The owners are fabulous..always a pleasure seeing them around the facility. Kind and helpful. The place is clean and easy to access. Will definitely return to them if the need arises in the future. I would reccomend them to anyone. Only thing I would like different are the operating hours...gate locks at 7pm which can make it difficult to get there during the week. 10/10 read more

I used Gilroy Mini Storage for just a few months and I had excellent service, until they had to issue me a refund. I was issued a refund on 07/01/2014 and to this date 07/29/2014, I still have not gotten refund. I contacted Lori at Gilroy Mini Storage who was very nice to me over the phone. She was checking on it and keeping in touch with me. However, I will say, I was getting the same story from her every time. Today, I contacted them again for an update. I'm concerned the check has been lost in the mail. I was told by a man named Jerry (I think that was his name, can't remember) the same thing I have been told by Lori in the past, that the check is most likely on its way or has not been mailed out yet. I tried to express my frustration that I would like this looked into further, Jerry stated that he would call his accounting office to discuss and see when the check was mailed. I asked him to please have them check to see if the check had cleared? Did it get lost? I asked him for the number to the accounting department so that I could call them? Can I discuss? I told him that I keep getting the same story over and over again and I'm frustrated and I want it looked into further. Guess he did not like me telling him what to do, he accused me of calling him a liar! Then I asked him to please check on it for me and asked if he could call me back? "I might" was his response. I might? He ended up hanging up on me. Its really sad because I think I got excellent service from the beginning. Lori really went the extra mile for me. However, the end result just made my whole experience worth nothing. I will never go back to them, will never recommend their services to my clients. DON'T USE THEM, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Regardless of how big or small a business is, there is no excuse to hang up on someone. read more
