I have not even signed on the dotted line yet, but the customer service of Sheri and Mike who work for this Mini U Storage has been so completely welcoming, professional, helpful and accommodating, I am very much looking forward to being a customer in the coming days. Another review described Mike as "mannerly," and that is spot on. My husband and I have rented storage units for a long time with another business close by and I was looking for an option to consolidate a vehicle and a motorcycle in the same storage unit, not in two separate units as we do now. Not only did this storage facility have options, they had a few different options that were really quite large. Sheri walked the property with us on the day I first stopped in and she was real quick to answer absolutely every question I had about safety, security, rent increases and unit options and in a super friendly and chill manner. The outside units are connected to a central air conditioning system and not swamp cooler cooled like some older facilities around the valley, which was important to me. Also, this unit we are looking to rent is about ten feet longer than the two units at the other spot combined that I am currently renting at. It will also cost a hundred plus dollars less than what I am paying now for those two. I understand with initial promo offers to get you in that things seem cheaper, but I have been lead to believe after asking some direct questions on this, that my initial rate will be locked in for the six months and any rate increase increments thereafter will be annually and won't be like what I am experiencing at my current rental situation. Sheri and Mike are so nice, I am willing to give this a gamble on what they are telling me. The one story outside units through the gate and out back have been here for some time, but the building up front that has indoor storage unit options is brand new and literally just opened. It is jammed between retail and residential right on the busy Tropicana Road. So the branding and feel of this business appears to have undergone a bit of a facelift a bit. They have a courtesy truck you can utilize on a first come first serve basis, which is a nice touch and also, they have all the boxes, bubble wrap and locks one could need if you are seeking these items. The truck is out of service this week, so we cannot use, but that is OK, it was not a deal breaker, just a nice feature to know is available. And quite honestly, Sheri and Mike have been so helpful up front, I absolutely want to give this Mini U Storage a shot with my storage rental needs. They sealed the deal for me to make the switch. Looking forward to moving my stuff in next week. read more

Place is terrible all my belongings were stolen and i didn't have full Coverage when I sure ah hell did they are scammers !!!!

I had all my belongings at a different storage facility for many years. On August 31, there was a fire at that facility. That storage facility kept everyone in the dark about their belongings until November. They offered us a discount to move everything to a different facility of theirs. Which was a slap in the face. I saw this facility, it looked much nicer than the other facility I was doing business with. I went in and met Mike. He was really cool, and very helpful. I decided to do business with them. When I went in to sign the papers upon move in, he made it very easy. I really like the facility so far. One of the most impressive things for me was that when I was moving in, I noticed a security vehicle patrolling the property after office hours! The vehicle drove by every 10 minutes or so. They have an app that makes it very easy to get into the gate, and control my account. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a storage. read more

I went to go see about a storage unit. I was greeted with rudeness by Anthony. I asked if the person I spoke with was in , he replied no we fired him cause he was not worthy to work here. So I then asked about the quote ,I was quoted nd everything went left. He got loud and very rude while other customers were there. he then asked me to move to the side to help another customer where I seen him be extremely rude and she has several storage units there. She then told him she will be closing out her units due to him being rude. He said he didn't care and they don't really need her business anyway. people like Anthony should not work for the public and or in customer service. I left and went to Public Storage. I'd rather pay high prices and get respect, than pay a company who hires rude employees. read more

I've been renting with Mini U Storage for several years now and they have never disappointed me. Their prices are the most competitive in the area, and their staff are always super friendly and helpful. Today I downsized my unit to a 5x10 and Crystal was so nice and accommodating, ensured we got a unit just around the corner from my larger unit to make it easy on us to transfer. Customer Service from the Manager is horrible also the Corporate Office located 18552 MacArthur Blvd. Irvine CA. Has one of the worst VP I've ever dealth with. She is lacking customer service skills, very condescending to the tenants when dealing with concerns or issues and both the local Manager and the VP seems to be untrustworthy along with lying to cover up situation that's taking place on their premises. There's been multiple theft from the storage facilities ie: Catalytic Converters off of tenants RV, tenant truck stolen from the premises, storage units broken into, side by side trailer stolen and previous there was a hole in the fence that didn't get fixed for a long time but Management denies the events. The cameras on-site doesn't work or they claim that the camera doesn't cover the area where things are happening. Be very careful when choosing this company as a safe place to store your valuable belongings and be prepared to deal with a shady group of management. read more
