The Minibar at Urbanica is a perfect little neighborhood bar! I would love to see more of these on the corners around Miami. It's a great addition to the South of Fifth neighborhood. The prices are reasonable, and they have a happy hour as well. A great cocktail menu and a nicely stocked full bar. Inside is super Miami-ish and quaint and outside is tree-lined, just the ultimate Miami small bar experience. The bartender was super friendly, attentive and was very accommodating. I would say the Minibar is a little hidden gem on Miami Beach! Even though it's part of the hotel, it still feels like a local spot. I'll be back for sure! read more

Super cute little bar with a bit of outdoor seating. Love the "mini" concept where most cocktails come with a mini bottle of liquor. Also thought they named it Minibar because it is definitely on the small side and any other time that would be fine, but during a pandemic, it's a bit tough. We came here on a Friday night and inside was fairly empty so we took a chance and sat at the bar. Masks removed, we ordered our drinks. The bartenders all had their masks on. Then more people started entering the bar. One couple came in with no masks on. No one said anything. They sat close to us, so we moved one seat down to at least have a seat between us and the other party. They gave us the stink eye. I know some people still think COVID is a hoax. Then more people walked in - two guys decided to stand behind me and order their drinks over my shoulder. It was like a regular night at a bar. But these aren't regular nights. And with COVID cases rising, I felt very uncomfortable. We got our drinks, paid our tab and sat outside to enjoy the beverages. The place is nice and if we had just sat outside to begin with, I probably would have enjoyed it more. I just feel that some places are taking every measure to make patrons feel safe and others are catering to the IDGAF crowd. If you want to support this business but also want to feel comfortable, I'd suggest getting there early for happy hour and sitting outside. Will be back when things get better because those drinks were excellent. read more

We came around the time COVID was less of a scare in the Midwest, but in Miami it was very much still alive so everywhere we went was not very busy, but this place seemed to still draw in a crowd. We stopped in 3 times during our trip. It is pricey considering the drinks are barely filled up. I was super disappointed with the watermelon drink, I finished it in literally 2 gulps. Great spot to visit! It's away from craziness of Ocean dr and has great drinks and atmosphere. On last Saturday night they had a Dj who was playing 90s pop music mixed with new songs. The place is pretty small and has very limited seating inside and outside. Prices are pretty low compare to other places in south beach and bartenders works pretty quickly so you don't have to wait a long time to get a drink. read more

Not great. Came on a Saturday around midnight. There was a decent sized crowd, but my friends and I were pretty easily able to find standing room at the bar. We stood at the bar for about 15-20 minutes before being able to flag down a bartender, who informed us that they were out of everything on the menu except for three cocktails. We ended up getting the Z-pack, one of the only things that was left. Not only did it not come with a mini bottle of liquor, but it was questionable if it had any liquor in it at all. It tasted like lime juice and water. Gratuity was automatically included on our drinks as well which I thought was a little strange. The music was fun which I appreciated, but the bottom line is that we came to this place for the cocktails and we were totally underwhelmed. read more

This adorable bar in the urbanica hotel right off 5th street is a great place for a casual drink with a friend or small group. It is, in fact, "mini," so I wouldn't recommend you go in a large group.
