For the sake of my back, I had to find out. Located conveniently (for me) in the west end off of Stony Plain, you'll notice the décor is kept quite well with hardwood floors, chandeliers, tasteful Victorian style decorations. Complimentary flip flops were available and I was led into a separate waiting room with even more tasteful and colorful furniture waiting for me. Since it was my first visit, I had to fill out the necessary forms complete with waivers but I was also asked if I wanted some chilled water, tea or coffee. That's a first for me. I kind of felt like I was in a spa. Finally, our mysterious therapist, Ali comes to greet me in full scrub attire. She must mean business. We sit down in the typical style massage room and she builds my profile by asking about medical history and preference of what I would like to be worked on. I quite enjoyed the fact that she laid out expectations and asked questions right away. This allowed me to indicate which areas I would like help with and I think it allowed her to build a personalized program for me. After allowing me to change and get ready I knew right away the treatment was much different. She was not shy in getting into the trouble areas of my shoulders and if I had to compare apples to apples, it felt painfully good but much more thorough. She identified and released many more knots and based on my profile suggested that she work on the arms as well since I work at an office and go to the gym. Don't be fooled by her frame, she had some secret special reserve monster strength given the fact her effort dial wasn't cranked to full power. I left feeling very refreshed and had a good chat with her at the desk as I paid. As listed on their site, an hour long massage is roughly $89. What's also really convenient is this location allows you to log in and book your appointments online and make them reoccurring if it fits your schedule. It's a bittersweet feeling finding Ali at 3Leaf. I just hope I can drown away the tears of remorse of leaving my old therapist with the amazing massages I'll be getting in the future after switching. They always acknowledge me the second I walk in and will grab me a pair of sandals and take my coat. They have a cute little waiting area with tea and magazines. I've only every had Michelle Bullock as my massage therapist and she is amazing! She uses the right amount of pressure and some different techniques. I went there today after almost a year of not going. I forgot how amazing she is. I always feel amazing after... I wish I could go every week!

They were able to answer any questions I had about the eminence products used, and customized my facial according to whether or not I was going out after or going home (ie. redness, shine, etc.). Elysian has an easy online booking system through their website, and I notice they have promotions on their Facebook page so you should check that out. I was told they don't accept returns and that their policy is "stated on the receipt." The issue is, you only get the receipt after you've already paid, which makes that policy completely useless for customers who want to know before buying. There are no signs anywhere at the counter or around the store indicating a no-return policy. When I mentioned that, the staff just said it's on the receipt and that's their rule. They did say I could exchange the item, but when I tried, I found out they won't refund the difference if the new item costs less -- meaning you basically lose money either way. Policies like this should be clearly posted and explained upfront, not hidden after the sale. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional and misleading. I definitely wouldn't shop here again.

Omg. Have I got a review for you. So I was looking up Japanese nails online and stumbled upon…read morewonderland pro studio. There were tons of options and I made an appointment for the "new" fiber dip gel power. It said new and gel so I decided to give it a try. I should mention that I have been getting gel powder done prior to coming here for the first time. So I arrive. It's a home business which is fine, I've been to home business' before and my nails turned out fine. So I enter. Fiona is the owner and nail tech. She came off as very friendly. She was wearing belly dancing styled short shorts with stockings. I kid you not. But fine, I've come for a new set of nails. So I had about 4 nails left that I hadn't removed. She drills off the ones with the gel to my natural nail. Burns like hell as it should. Also took an hour. But its fine, she has been doing nails 3 yrs, this might be a lengthy process. It should be noted that it takes 1.5 hrs to have a new set from most places. Anyways the next step is to have her match and glue on nail extensions. First red flag for me. For those that don't know, the extension can lift off the natural nail during curing which is a risk for fungus and infection waiting to happened. And that's exactly what happened. But well get to that later. So after she put it on and buffs and drills some more she gets her fiber dip gel powder kit out. She puts on the base polish dips my finger in the powder. and puts a sealing powder on top. Never seen anything like it and thought fine maybe the fake glue on extensions wouldn't be so bad. So next was the design. I chose a japanese style from a book she had. She couldn't do it... I wanted a few swirls at the top with gold lines between the patterns. Couldn't do it... Second red flag... I then suggested we do something easier like place stickers on top. Easy right? Lol.. At this point I looked down at my nails. They were lumpy. Not smooth at all. Again, I thought fine maybe she will smooth it out at the end. Pretty much all red flags were going off at this point. She puts the stickers on with top coat and done. Btw. She never cleaned my hands. They had powder on em and her desk was filled with powder and nail clippings. She got stuff in her hair and stickers were all over the place. She put cuticle oil and lotion with the powder still on my nails! I had a glacé at my nails again. They were so bumpy and looked horrible. A gap showed from the nail extension no longer sick on my pointer finger. She the filed my natural nail so I couldn't see it. Not fixing the problem. I told her about the lumps. She said its because the stickers are lumpy and 3d. Um no they were flat stickers lol but ok. She then puts another layer of polish on top to "fix it". Which I do t know why as it looked the same. At this point t I had enough. What I also hated was that she had lied. Also I should have mentioned earlier but the powder said acrylic polymer on it. So it was gel as she had claimed. Also did research online. Anyway, I tell her I don't like it and I think ill just go back to my natural nail. Her right hand starts shaking. I thought she was gonna a punch me. She had a quiet bream down or something it was scary. So she starts filing them down and she easily removes the polish layer... guess it shows how easily that lasts.. literally pulled it right off with tweezers. She's at my thumb the last finger on my left hand. She literally stabs my finger near the cuticle which hurt so bad I started crying. It turned purple. She keeps going. Doesn't care I'm crying. I told her I've had enough and decided to leave. My right hand still had the horrible nails on em with powder on my hands. Btw when she removed the nails on my left she put nail envy strength polish on top with the powder and nail filing power on top.. she didn't let it dry which made it sticky cuz it would touch my other fingers as she worked on The next nail... she said since I dont make u happy u don't have to pay. Which I told her I would cuz well u did a set. I would have paid for something horrible. Such horrible service. And I dont go on yelp honestly if theres something that needs to be said. I want this to be a warning to everyone. DO NOT GO HERE EVER. save yourself the hell. My appointment was at noon I got out of there at 530 pm!!!!! It would have been longer if I stayed for more hell for my other hand. When 8 got home I washed all the powder off my hands and easily removed the acrylics off my hand. Super good quality I see. I was so traumatized. I cried leaving and on the way home. She didn't give 2 ****s. Never again. Waste of time and now I'm in so much pain.
