I recently had the pleasure of working with Jeff, the owner of Mint Condition Moving, and I have to say that from beginning to end, this business came through! He came out to give an in-person estimate, which I appreciated, and he gave a flat rate that was completely reasonable. No matter how many times I texted or called, Jeff responded--always professionally. He and his wife packed my uncle's apartment in record time, and the day of the move was seamless (from Woodbridge, VA to Rocky Mount, NC). My only regret was that he reached the final destination about 40 minutes ahead of me, and I kept HIM waiting. Still, he wasn't upset, and he continued to provide optimum and courteous service. Jeff and his men showed up early, worked hard, and made our move happen. They worked tirelessly on a Sunday to get our things from one location to another. Each piece was carefully packed with padded blankets and secured before being moved onto the truck. No damage to furniture and no missing pieces. While move furniture into our new home, the hardwood floors in our kitchen were scratched, an unfortunate blight but an accident nonetheless. While we had an early disagreement, he both called and texted to apologize - something you are very hard pressed to see from any vendor these days. Jeff made true to his word to pay for the repairs. I received a check in the mail for the money needed to pay my floor guy to make it right. If it's hard work and careful moving you're after, these guys are good. If something happens to your home during the move, Jeff is willing to take care of it - something that can't be said for everyone. read more

My opinion is: Awful! Stay away! Do yourself a favor and choose ANY other company. I believe that Jeff, the owner / supervisor / mover has criminal like attitude. Please be careful. Jeff did not mention to me, nor did he ask me to sign a contract, that i have to pay him the full amount before the job is done. Instead, he asked me to make the payment in full when we were halfway during the moving process. I told him we had no such agreement and that i will pay him in full once the job is done. I think Jeff's criminal side kicked in at this point and he almost punched me, let alone all the cursing and profanity and threats to harm me and take my furniture. I think Jeff's fist was about 4 inches away from my face ! Then he started screaming, seemed like a maniac, about how he got ripped off 3 times in the past month by other customers. This was in broad day light around 4 pm right in front of my condo in Alexandria, VA. I immediately called fairfax county police and they came and took care of the situation. I thought they would at least handcuff him but it seemed like Virginia law has no problem with threats and verbal abuse. I think they convinced him to finish the job first. Jeff's helpers were polite and did not display any support to Jeff's aggression. I really hope they can find a job with a real moving company. There are no words that would describe how i feel about this horrible moving company. read more

I have done several moves past 5 years and I always call on Mint Condition (Mintz Condition Moving Co) and Jeff the owner. He and his crew work quickly and efficiently and has never damaged a single item. Highly professional and lot of his guys have been working in this field for awhile - very seasoned pro's who know how to box up, move, stack up, load and unload very smoothly without a glitch. Mr. Mintz and his team are so polite, professional, and fairly priced that I have used his services twice within a month, and I do not plan to ever use another moving service in this area. He and his team moved me from my one room basement apartment to a new apartment in late May. I had some scheduling changes a few days before moving, and Mr. Mintz was flexible and patient throughout, returning each of my frantic calls. Due to the last minute scheduling change, the team was a few minutes late, but he called and let me know exactly how far away he was BEFORE the appointment time, which I appreciated. The next time (6/22/2016), he was more than 15 minutes early, and finished the entire move of some large furniture (including putting together and taking apart a wooden bed frame) in under an hour. This was a great moving company! I had 2 stops to load up the truck before moving into my new home. The guys were all friendly and QUICK movers! They even waited for me to finish my closing procedures and met me later in the afternoon to unload the truck! I would definitely recommend them! I had to move large furniture items in a pinch and these guys were awesome. The prices were reasonable and the gentlemen showed up on time with a smile. They took their time wrapping up my furniture to protect it. I definitely will be hiring them again. They took care both loading and unloading the truck, were very time efficient. Best movers ever! These guys took extra good care of all of my furniture. They were very professional and very quick in getting the trucks packed. They also set up my furniture (beds and TVs) in the new home. Everything was wrapped, packed and handled very carefully, down to the nuts and bolts. Nothing scratched or broken in this move. I used JK Moving in years past and JK broke multiple pieces of furniture and ruined my marble floor, then denied it. Jeff from Mint Condition and his team are awesome! Mint Condition did a great job with my move. I had some Uhaul U-Boxes (like Pods) come in from Arizona, and I had to shuffle some stuff around as well as move stuff into my new apartment. I booked my move with Mr. Jeff, I explained all the items I was looking to move, he quoted me a very reasonable price especially given the move was during a holiday weekend. He promised his team would to their best to make this move as stress free as possible. The day of my move, the team arrived promptly, they were very polite, professional and efficient. Hindsight, I clearly underestimated the size of my move but the team remained steadfast and completed my move within a reasonable timeframe. A few days later I noticed my mirror was not assembled correctly, no big deal but called and spoke to Mr. Jeff and he came out that same afternoon to make the adjustment! Jeff and his team did a wonderful job with my move into a 3 story townhouse. They got to my place early, agreed to work an extra hour to accommodate all our stuff making it over, and were extremely professional the entire time. I've never had movers roll out runner size pads to protect the floors, but that was the first thing they did, as well as pad all the furniture. They work quickly and diligently the entire time. No problems, no breakage, and they had to overcome some real challenges with stairs, etc. We have lots of antiques and they received extra care from Mint Condition. Beginning from our first phone call to schedule my move, Jeff was amazing! On our moving day Jeff & his team showed up on time and all three men had smiles on their faces & greeted me with a good morning! I love how organized this team was, they took a look at what we needed moved got their things and quickly began moving! What I thought was pretty unique was they rolled out a red carpet to make sure our floors were not scratched. These men all treated me with so much respect, "yes ma'am, no ma'am" smiled, laughed & talked to me during the entire move, which I enjoyed. Another thing I admired about this team was how respectful they were with one another. These men really did play such a strong roll with each other which made the move fast and so organized.
