First time to MINT today and I couldn't have been more pleased! From the LUX decor and customer-forward service- this certainly didn't feel like that ol' trip to the dentist office that I'm used to! Complementary cucumber water, iPad, and Beats headphones for the visit. I felt spoiled! I was just going in for a regular cleaning, so didn't need much time with the dentist; she was courteous and to the point- exactly what I wanted. The X-ray tech, and hygienist were utterly fabulous. Made an initial appointment with them and waited forever to be seen. Was there a total of 3 hours for a CLEANING! Back again due to serve tooth pain. Appointment was scheduled at 3. Arrived at 3. It's now 3:30 and nothing. Went to address it and receptionist told me that there was 2 people ahead of me and basically there were no rooms available. What's the point of making an appointment? Mesquite location was great helpful and friendly. I have anxiety about dentists sonce I was a child and mesquite was very comforting. Would visit that location (Mesquite) only. The location that did my wisdom removal ( grapevine) doesn't hold the same standard. read more

Amazing experience! Today was my 2nd time coming to this office. When you walk in, you are pleasantly greeted by one of the ladies in the front and they seem genuinely happy to see you and to help you. You fill out your first time patient "paperwork" on an iPad. Freaking awesome because I hate filling out paperwork. Their software seemed to be well designed. It was easy to follow along and you get through the initial process of filling out your "paperwork" quite quickly. It may not seem like a big deal but little things like this can make big a difference. Both visits, I got right in on my scheduled time. I haven't been to the dentist in a while, so I'm not sure what to expect. But their equipment seems to be higher end. The initial 360 scan of your mouth by the first machine was neat. The subsequent x-rays are followed up by a little device they place in your mouth. Fairly easy, breezy. My teeth were pretty bad to say the least and I was very self-conscious of them. Daryl took great care of me and made me feel comfortable the whole time. This is a huge deal when you are feeling uncomfortable, especially for a sensitive subject, such as your mouth and teeth. I was quickly able to relax after Daryl turned on the chair massager and played some soothing music. Like their commercials say, I immediately felt the Mint difference. Just some more minor things that add up to a big difference. I then promptly took my molds for the first time patient teeth whitening kit. The dentist (unfortunately, I can't remember her name. She was a Middle Eastern lady) then came into the room shortly after. She was very nice and introduced herself. She continued that level of comfort as she examined my teeth. She said I would need to return for a deep cleaning. Okay, cool. Daryl handed me my Mint goody bag. It had my teeth whitening kit in there, along with the Mint sunglasses, toothbrush, toothpaste and some floss. Fast forward to today for my deep cleaning appointment. I was once again pleasantly greeted as I walked in and got right in for my appointment. I was met by Brandon who would be doing my deep cleaning. Again, a very pleasant and professional guy. I knew I was in good hands. The chair massager was turned on, I opted for the Beats headphones this time and I immediately felt relaxed. I was given a topical numbing cream and then got the mouth shots. After about 5 minutes of waiting to let the shots kick in, Brandon got started on the deep cleaning process. What an experience the deep cleaning was. I was properly warned it was going to be intense and I was not let down, lol! To say the least, it was a welcomed intensity. I just had to get it done. Brandon did an amazing job on my teeth cleaning. He took his time and didn't rush through it. I was also offered additional numbing shots throughout the process. Which I didn't need but was nice to know I could get more, if needed. It seems Mint takes care to make sure your comfortable at all times. Once the cleaning was done, I couldn't believe how amazing my teeth looked. I don't think I've seen my real teeth in years! It was freaking awesome! I just want to thank Mint and their entire Grapevine staff for taking such good care of me. I can't describe how it feels to have my life back. My teeth were making me anti-social and I did not like smiling. My cheeks are hurting right now because I've been smiling all day today! I'm no longer self-conscious of my teeth and I will be taking much better care of them, moving forward. I look forward to my follow-up visits to Mint and I have definitely found my new dentistry in DFW. Highly recommended! read more

I had an appoint for my wisdom teeth extraction with another dentist office. I had scheduled my appt a month in advance and paid $700 out of pocket just for that dentist office to call me 2 hours before my appointment and told me the surgeon will not be in and the next time they can get me in will MAYBE be in February. I was very disappointed and irritated. I called MINT and asked how fast can they get me in to do my extractions since I would have been a new patient. They got me in in the same exact day I had called PLUS they charged me HALF of what the other place was trying to charge me. I was very pleased with the staff and how well they handled everything. They understood my frustration and knew I needed my extraction done on that exact day since I had already taken off of work and had my sister take off of work to take me plus hire a baby sitter because I have been preparing for that day already. I am definitely going to use MINT as my family dentist now. read more

I am very disappointed with the Oral Surgery at Mint Dentistry in Grapevine. My son had an appointment at 9:30 and as of 11:40 he is still waiting. He arrived 40 minutes early like he was supposed to and is still sitting in the waiting room. Keeps getting told others are ahead of you. This is pure BS. Why make an appoint if you the doctor is not going to keep them or at least be somewhat timely? My son works and has taken the morning off to get this needed oral surgery and now it looks like he won't be able to work this evening. I am very disappointed in the communication that he has been given and the fact that this doctor doesn't care whether the patient is waiting or for how long they have to wait. He has informed me that others have gone in for oral surgery before him that came into the office after him. Ashley kept telling me that the doctor got behind. Well if that is the case, give the patients a chance to reschedule or wait. My son was not given either option. He doesn't like dentist and this is just one more reason not to want to go back. When I called back they kept putting me on hold, I guess avoiding my calls. After talking to Ashley again, she informed that she was going to refund my out of pocket cost for today. Recently, I went to the Mint Dentistry Mockingbird location for a cleaning & concerns about my one of my wisdom teeth. Everyone there was great. They referred me to the Grapevine location to have my tooth pulled. When I called them, I was told that in order for my insurance to cover the sedation, I would have to have AT LEAST 2 teeth pulled. This was odd to me since my dentist at the previous location said none of my other wisdom teeth were far enough down (or up) to give me any issues. I took it upon myself to call my insurance company to confirm what I was told. They told me this was COMPLETELY UNTRUE & that they would cover anything as long as I had at least one pulled. Long story short(er), this office is lying to patients in order to bill the insurance company more for procedures that aren't necessary. Shame on you. read more

Hygienist and everyone was great. Experience was great. Doctor/dentist? Not so much. Accusing me of getting pregnant and coming in for a cleaning twice now without X-rays. #1 I didn't make this appointment for a cleaning... it was made for a cavity... #2 I've lost multiple pregnancies in the past. This is only my second one. I'm not pregnant every year of my life. I had made an appointment in March but was unable to come due to me being sick and the office being shut down... so now we're discriminating against pregnant women for getting dental care? Everyone knows gum sensitivity and gingivitis are more common during pregnancy... but again that's not why I made the appointment... She was also trying to inform me that I needed a letter from my obgyn for treatment.. I stayed 20 minutes later at my obgyn on Monday for them to write it for her and for her not to look in my chart to verify it was there. Love mint. Loved the hygienist. Love the receptionists... that doctor is bringing that whole location rating down. And her comments were very discriminating. read more

I have been going to Mint since 2014. At the time I only recall them having 2 locations and things were great but it seems they are more focused on building the brand than the actual customers. Back in August I scheduled a root canal for the last week in December(as recommended by the rep) to use the last of my 2018 benefits that way I could come back the first week in January 2019 to get the crown fitting and pay for that with 2019 benefits... long story short I pulled up to my appt and the location was closed with no notice. So not only did I miss out in the rest of my benefits but I'd be paying more out of pocket to do the full root canal and crown in the same year. I called immediately and spoke to an answering agent and she gave me the number to contact the "Complaint rep"... it is almost February and I have yet to hear back from this guy... I will never return to Mint... I should have stop going here when they almost worked on the wrong tooth at the beginning of 2018. By listening to K104 I was able to use my PPO dental plan & take advantage of the free whitening. Not going to lie, but I thought this promotion was a hoax..... well it's not! They treated me as if I was a regular customer, Jennifer the dental assistant answered all my questions & was very professional (she even likes lemons with salt, I thought I was the only one in the world who ate lemons like that). went to mint today for the first time. it was the best dentist i've ever been to. they have freakin massage chairs, how cool is that. lol. and they let you pick a netflix show or let u listen to pandora. when i checked in they gave me an ipad & beat headphone to use while i was there. they all were very friendly. the hygienist explained everything in detail and was very helpful and the doctor did a great job as well. made a follow up for later on this week! read more

This is and was by far the worse dental experience of my life. I left in tears. I had an appointment scheduled for 11a, I was finally seen around 11:45. I was scheduled to receive two fillings. The dentist finally walked in to numb me and you could tell he was upset about the fact the office was busy. He made a statement about being a doctor but running around like a chicken with his head cut off. The doctor didn't bother to say Hi or my name is... so I couldn't even tell you who he was. I was terrified and wanted to leave immediately. Mint dentistry Grapevine made me feel like I was an obligation. Furthermore, while in my mouth I could hear him complaining about why the clinic scheduled my "little fillings and a root canal at the same time". And how "he he hates being at this location". The dentist was obviously irritated and I was literally hyperventilating on the table. The assistant had to keep telling me to calm down. I left the room in tears, and called the office up immediately after the appointment to let them know of what happened. The office manager said that she notated this and would pass my information to the "manager of guest experience" but it's been a week now and I still haven't received a call, not even an apology! Do yourself a favor and find another dental office. They have obviously grown to big and they do not care about their customers, only the insurance money. I don't even think I could ever visit a dentist again after this traumatizing experience by such a careless dental office. read more

Not A Fan! Went in for a new patient appointment. Staff was nice enough and the office was clean. The Dentist there seemed new and wasn't really sure how to review the x-rays as she was doing my procedures. After the appointment, the corner of my lip was bruised. Two weeks later and I am experiencing pain where I had work done. Made an appointment with the Carrollton location so they could fix the issues I'm having and after waiting an hour, was told that they cannot help me and that I have to go back to my original office in Grapevine. MINT is a great concept. They are trying to make the Dentist Office not seem like such an awful place. And while the modern office, Beats headphones, Netflix movies and Pandora are a nice touch, it seems we are losing quality of care in the process. Don't be fooled by the Glitz and Glam. Will not be returning to any MiNT Location. read more
