I rarely write reviews, but I feel obligated to warn others about our terrible experience with Mint Motorcycles in Dallas, Texas. We purchased a motorcycle from them while living in California, trusting the photos and the word of their sales team--specifically Haneef, Tray, and AJ. That turned out to be a huge mistake. The bike arrived with significant, clearly pre-existing damage that was never disclosed. On top of that, it has serious engine issues and has failed to start multiple times. It was immediately obvious that this was not the condition that was represented to us. My husband has made multiple attempts to resolve the situation directly with them, but they have completely refused to take any responsibility. They will not buy the bike back, nor will they offer any assistance with repair costs. This experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. We feel misled and taken advantage of, especially as out-of-state buyers who relied on their honesty. If you are considering buying from Mint Motorcycles-- DON'T. Thoroughly disappointed with my last experience with mint motorcycles, dropped off my 2021 Aprilia rsv4 that I purchased from them for a clutch job and oil leak. They recommended spark plugs and I agreed to get them replaced, when I got the bike back clutch wasn't functioning correctly, bike was misfiring, smelt like gas, had dirty Fingerprints all over it, had missing bolts holding the main components of the fairings, tires low on air. Basically unridable. They also destroyed my akro exhaust I had paid good money for through them. When approaching the service manager about the issues, he told me that everything was fine and the bike was like that when it came in, thankfully I took detailed photos of everything before and was able to show that the bike was in better condition than when it was dropped. To make things worse I had purchased a two year warranty, but when I tried to warranty an oil leak, they told me that I only had a one year warranty, which I know wasn't true because I purchased a two year when I purchased the bike, the owner looked through the paperwork and later confirmed that I did purchase a two year warranty, but then two weeks later, I tried to return the bike because the issues they created made the bike un rideable the owner told me I actually only have a one year warranty, which isn't true at all, so I was scammed out of my warranty. After doing business with them for five years and recommending them to friends and family, I will no longer recommend mint motorcycles as they have ruined this relationship and shown their true colors not resolving this serious manner. Let me start by saying this "company" should not be in business! They are complete SCAM ARTISTS and build their "company" off that alone. My situation alone I was lied to by Trai who was the salesperson. Said there was no damage to the 2006 Yamaha R1 Raven that I financed through them. I couldn't see for myself because they are in TX and I'm in California. Trai told me "we don't go by mint motorcycles for nothing" and that's because they buy beat up/damaged bikes, probably from an auction for cheap then "touch them up" to look "mint" They slap brand new tires on to make you please with their bike appearance wise, while mechanically you will have a huge headache on your hands. The battery is shot, rough idling, bike shuts off and won't start back up and more! With my issue the bike arrived and I saw damage to the frame sliders and both side fairings, indicating the bike has been dropped on both sides. Their was touch-up black paint trying to cover up the damage. That's how shady these people are. Then the bottom of the exhaust had a nice deep scrape on it, indicating dragging of the bike. As well as the clutch pedal being bent inwards. They also sent me the bike with a license plate but no holder to install it onto the bike. They DO NOT CARE about their customers, they care about your MONEY ONLY! YOU WERE WARNED! So I bring this to their attention and Haneef the GM offered me $300 venmo for the fairings damage, as well as needing to buy frame sliders and clutch pedal. He expected all that with $300. Then I started noticing immediately issues with rough idling, throttle response, bike heating up, shutting off and not starting up. So I immediately replaced the battery thinking that would fix the issue. But no, the bike still has these issues. They refuse to do a buy back on the bike eventhough they first said they would. They changed their mind and now they won't. Tried to offer me another $400 at the time which I declined. So I listed my bike for sale to have payments taken over within two months only of owning this bike. Now someone has the bike and is making payments helping build my credit. God is good! But now I am forced to sue these guys and will be doing so. Their games are done. They hang up on you or don't answer your calls at all, or they block your number. These are shady people, every single one of them. Haneef, Trai, AJ, Tom, Ozzy and the list goes on. I connected with a previous customer of theirs who had an identical experience with them and he said he would LOVE to be my witness in court. So now they are looking at a lawsuit. And if that wasn't enough, they charged me $1,200 for shipping, but the shipper they went through told me it was only $700. So they pocketed $500 illegally. They don't care about the law. They think "sold as is" covers their ass. Got news for you, an inoperable bike, a bike having serious mechanical issues day one of riding, damage not disclosed and more, all breaches that contract. I took my time on writing this review, I wanted it to be as accurate as possible. I will start by saying this, Angel, Rayyan, and Izek, here are your go-tos! These three are often busy, so don't be afraid to keep calling them, but when they say they will get you taken care of, they will do just that. I drove 3 hrs to purchase, and I am glad I did. I had one minor concern about the bike once I got it home, contacted them, and they got it fixed no problem. Will definitely purchase from them again if I am in the market Here is the one thing I encourage you to push against at Mint Motorcycles. They would not take the bike outside for me to get a good look at it, nor test drive it until I had paid for it. Never in my life have I experienced this when buying a toy or automobile, especially used. The showroom floor is crowded with lots of very nice bikes, so it's nearly impossible to inspect the bike inside. When I asked, several of them told me this is just how they do business. I would encourage you not to allow anyone from any business to force you to buy their bike without getting the chance to look it over to your liking. If no one tolerated this, then the way they made sales would change. But again, besides that, the bike is great, at a great price, and the people were friendly. Update: 5/10/'25 Thanks to the negative reviews I uploaded on this platform and many others, the salesperson (Ozzy) contacted me via Whatsapp texting. At first, my impression was that he was now willing to honor his written obligation, as he stated that he had seen the Yelp review and was hurting him, for he was the person who made the sale or "his performance was on the line for it was his deal." As part of his deceitful excuses, he wanted to make me believe that he was doing everything possible to contact me, avoiding responsibility and in turn placing the fault on me or my methods of communication. The back and forth turned to the usual deception these despicable people continually practice, that "it was very difficult to contact me" and that they been trying to reach me to honor their obligation. Ultimately, he wanted me to reconsider for they had given me "a very good deal," and that I was asking too much, for they provided discounts of the motorcycle value (a total falsehood, the total price was never lowered). He emphasized to keep in mind that they paid $1000 US dollars for the free shipping (another statement entirely false, contradicted by the person that was contracted to deliver my motorcycle to El Paso, it was not even $500 dollars). Quick recapitulation, I suggested as part of the negotiation to purchase the 2023 Ducati Supersport 950S to include: 1. Free Motorcycle Shipping, 2. Helmet, 3. Gloves, 4. Jacket. They included this agreement in writing as part of the sale contract. The issue falls in the "store manager" Haneef and the salesperson (Ozzy) were Haneef later expressed that it was "a very good deal, that I shouldn't have gotten too many goods to guarantee a purchase." He seemed very disturbed that what I asked for was agreed upon in the contract. They obviously later came to regret this negotiation. It seems that they agreed to too many goods in exchange for a guaranteed sale, and that made them "butt hurt" for either losing money or just out of being ultimately cheap, miserable, and stingy. They obviously are reluctant to spend money and have the tendency to hoard it, regardless of the compromise. As of today, they have not honored to send me the jacket and gloves. All just excuses, not the truth. The audacity or impudence escalated to suggest or accuse me of committing fraud by providing a "fake" Driver License. That the company was now deterred of doing any action towards paying me what is owed to me until I send them my DL. I will provide the screenshots of this last encounter of Ozzy blatantly accusing me of providing a fake DL, which comes out of nowhere, a desperate attempt to avoid paying me what I am owed. Do you really think that the bank that financed me for $16,594.36 in 63 payments with a 9.14% APR would agree to do business with a "questionable" DL?? How about my insurance company Progressive? I think that it would be impossible to purchase any kind of vehicular insurance without a DL. These despicable and coward people are low and now they escalated things to a whole different level. I am a law abiding citizen, a physician that strives to provide fair and equitable treatment as part of my practice. I believe in the notion of reaping what you sow, and to treat others as one wants to be treated. I cannot stress enough how this encounter and the dishonor of these people continue to endure, really boils my blood. It is not about the materials or its monetary worth, it is about the principle. I have contacted a lawyer and included the DMV Texas Dealership Enforcement. They have just contacted me to confirm a case # and that the investigation is proceeding as expected. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE ... I purchased a bike from this place at the end of July; I was told there was nothing wrong with it and that it had never been dropped or wrecked. When it arrived I noticed a sputter in the idle and was told that was nothing and it was supposed to be like that " I've owned several SuperSport's before so I knew that was not true at all ", I was then told that I could bring it back and they would take a look at it ( shop is 4 hours away and if it had just been inspected how could that have been missed ) later on in the week the check engine light comes on out of nowhere, mind you i haven't been 20 miles on this machine yet, I was told " oh it just needs a servo buddy " but then the check engine light goes off so i decided to cut my losses and trade the bike to a dealer I know and have done business with before. Thats when the real fun happens , I take it in and upon a more thorough inspection they start pointing out that this bike has been in a serious accident ( their words not mine ) , there was a scratch in the swingarm that I thought was just scratched when they put on the the new slip on turns out that was a dent in the swingarm, they used BONDO to try to cover up the massive frame damage and several other spots. So, we argue back and forth for hours and all they want to do is put me on a different bike, so I bought a Carfax report and found the complete accident report (ill post a photocopy of that below). Finally, they agree to take back possession of the bike as long as I pay the taxes and pay the shipping for the bike to get back to them. They get the bike that following Wednesday and they got the check the following week, I then notice the bike has been posted back on their site FOR MSRP PRICE and still not telling anyone it's been wrecked even though now they are fully aware of the incident. they even tried to release the bike to a customer while the loan was still out and in my name. First they called and was told by finance they couldn't accept a payment over the phone (verified by the finance company to be a lie by the dealer) then all of the sudden they are going to mail the check which could have been done a week prior to that, and he had no excuse for why it hadn't been done. Finally on 09/19 they finally make the payoff amount to wipe the loan away. I never had to deal with a salesman BTW I dealt directly with the GM of the company. These people are liars, they are crooked, and a simple vin check shows they have other bikes that have been wrecked that they are selling full price and not disclosing to the customers. don't just do what I did and scan their reviews, take a look at the 1-star reviews and you will notice a significant trend in how their business is conducted. read more

purchased a ktm rc8 . they said that they had replaced the tires and they did in fact look new so no issues , the issue is that when i went to put new tires on the rear axle bolt split into 3 pieces and there were signs of epoxy that had been put on the axle to cover up the fractures in the bolt. I don't recommend this place I bought a used bike with low miles so I thought looked good untill I took it apart it's a 5 hour trip there one way had to take it back leave it wait on them to fix it and then go back and pick it up that's 20 plus hours of time I will never get back, was also charged parts and labor on parts that were damaged and missing and then was told I was gonna be charged storage fees if I didn't come pick it up immediately so had to miss a day of work and pay someone to take me as my truck was in the shop! Im gonna assume this bike was wrecked and rebuilt actually I'm pretty positive it was and was concealed I was told it was slightly damaged in shipping hairline crack in the front cowl. After further investigation and some disassembly it was much more than a hairline crack it was rigged to stay together untill it got to 60 plus mph!They do have some nice bikes and lots of them but it's definitely a gamble and I can assure you they will not fix it for free! They will actually ask if you bought the warranty and if so to take it to a shop near you, I assume they don't know how warranties work it pays for damage done after not damage that was already there when bough lol! read more

Picked up an MV Agusta 675, went through the purchasing process a week before I had a free day to pick it up, was promised bike was ready before I arrived, showed up and had to wait 4 hours because of a dead battery! They hid the truth for 3 hours before they came clean and said the bike had an exhaust valve fault, so the whole time their tier 1 tech couldn't figure out that the exhaust valve actuator is just bad, wasted 4 hours of my time. The salesman who made the deal happen, Izek, also included a free pair of gloves with bike purchase and when I arrived the guy went on vacation after confirming that my pick-up date was good, and I still had to pay for a pair of gloves. A bunch of useless salesmen and mechanics, I fixed my own bike with a $60 part and had 1/4 tank of gas on the way out. Best they can offer is a water bottle. Worst dealership experience by far, I've bought 6 bikes in total from dealerships, and this is by far the most f***** up s*** dealer I've ever experienced. *For the people at Mint Motorcycles, next time don't pick up a bike you don't know how to work on from the auction. read more

Updated** After all the bull that went through, am still having issues with the these guys. Got a lawyer involved and these guys have backed out of verbal agreements three times. Now they won't respond. Do not buy a motorcycle from these guys. Literally scum. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. After buying the motorcycle in October 2021, I finally got the bike after a few weeks and was not able to test it since I live in Iowa. After a brief stint of warm weather I noticed the motorcycle had issues. After requesting something be done I was meet with poor resolve And that I would have to pay out of pocket to ship back to them and they'd inspect it. I requested a termination of contract but was told no. They said then informed the motorcycle had a warranty but I've been met with no response after that. The dealer tag expired December 2021 also so I cannot do anything with the bike. I've been told they'd ship out the past two weeks with nothing. Saying they did it but the businesses they said they sent it to said they have not received anything from the dealer. Stay far away from this dealership. They deleted and blocked me on Facebook after I left this same review. Just know of their shady business practices. read more

I visited mint on a relatively slow day. While there this is how they earned there single star review. First I was not approached by anyone I had to do the approaching. Second. Multiple bikes I wanted to look at were dead. (Which is normal) however when 4 out of the 5 bikes won't turn on that's not normal. Third I was looking at a Zx-6R with 800 miles!!!!!! When I get under the bike I noticed it had oil leaking from near the engine. My brother put his hand further back and got his hands covered in fresh oil. The sales man claimed it was due to "valve covers" recently being put on. A second manager approached us and asked why his hands had oil on them. And when we told him it's from that bike. The manager proceeded to say "there is a way to look without touching". And started acting like we were children. Now I am 24 years old and I look young. But I was there to spend money and they 100% lost my business. They have cheap bikes however they are unprofessional and the mechanic came out to look at a Ducati that wouldn't turn on and was a certified idiot. Which leads me to believe the bikes are under the care of shade tree mechanics. I wouldn't even recommend entering the building. You will see a cheap bike and fall in love and will miss any red flags that may pop up. If I could leave a .25 star I 100% would. read more

I bought my bike less than 30 days ago. I've never dropped it and haven't rode hard on it or anything. I was out for my usual ride and my bike looses power. I hit my throttle and it just revs. I can change all gears on the bike but can't get any power to move. I call MINT a day after it messed up 10/23/20 they told me to call the Warranty company. I call the warranty company 10/23/20 they said it may be covered and may not be but I do have a 48 month warranty to make me feel better I guess smh. Long story short this place will make a bad bike look good. I called MINT 10/28/20 and they said it's nothing they can do but the bike was running fine when it left. Yea your right it was running fine for 30 days. You shouldn't be a dealership if you can't guarantee your vehicles won't mess up within the first 90 days of getting it. I feel like I got scammed tbh now I'm paying 3 different company's for a bike I can't even ride.
