One of our favorite go to Thai spots in the area! Great atmosphere, generally not busy when we go on weekdays before 6pm, soul it's nice to have the restaurant to ourselves most days. Highly recommend the Tom Yum, if you eat in person, splurge and get the large. It's served in a hotpot style and you'll have extra to take home if it's just you. The pineapple fried rice is my husband's favorite. He gets it every time! I also love their Thai tea, satays, golden shrimp rolls, papaya salad with pickled crab, and house crispy brown chicken. I recently tried the Chinese broccoli with crispy pork and it was fire! The slight bitterness of the broccoli was balanced with the sauce. First our waitress was amazing. She made great recommendations and was always aware of what we needed. We ordered the vegetable rolls and yellow curry with tofu. Neither let us down. Great portion size. Vegetable rolls with the sweet and sour sauce were a great appetizer. Be careful with your spice level as it is kickin but we loved how we ordered ours! We got the pad see ew with beef, spice level 3/5. The noodles were very mushy and the beef was over cooked and chewy. The level 3 was not spicy at all, so if you like eating spicy food I'd recommend getting 5. I tried some of my cousin's pad kee mao and the sauce had more flavor, but it still wasn't as flavorful as authentic Thai food. We also got Thai iced coffee and the Thai tea and both tasted watered down and diluted like they added to much water to powder mix. Overall the food was very mediocre. We were planning on watching a movie at the AMC theatre next door and wanted to get a quick bit to eat before the show started. In searching the yelp app for restaurants nearby, I located Mint Thai Kitchen. I had seen this restaurants a few times before, but never went inside. We were greeted upon arrival and seated. It was slow at this hour as there was only one other family in the restaurant. After looking through the menu, we went with an order of spring rolls (6) for appetizer. For the main entrée, we went with a thai basil chicken with a level 3 of spice and I went with pad kee mao beef with level 4. The waiter told me that level 5 was the spiciest. The spring rolls came out quick and were hot and crunchy. As I took the first bite, a fiery hot steam was gushing out of the spring roll and my mouth. I had to wait for them to cool down. They were very good. Next came the thai basil chicken. It was pretty good too and served with a cup of rice. The last item was the drunken noodles. I really liked those. The beef was very well seasoned and a good amount of it with the noodles. The spice level was just right and to my standards. The service was up to standards. I will be a repeat customer. read more

I've now ordered three times from Mint Thai Kitchen through Uber Eats. All three deliveries have been superb. The food is hot, is a good portion, and wonderfully seasoned. My only complaint is that not enough rice is given with entrees. Rice is too cheap to be portioned that sparingly. About 2 hours after eating a pineapple chicken Curry (around 6pm) I developed extremely painful stabbing stomach pains. They continued worsening through the night to the point I thought I was going to have to go to the ER around 2 in the morning. Nothing was relieving the pain OTC simethicone, etc. Fearing I had contracted food poisoning of some type I took some activated charcoal capsules and finally some ipecac to induce vomiting. I vomited for around an hour after which point the pain began to subside to a level where I could finally fall asleep around 5am! This review is only for one of the three dishes i ordered from this restaurant using Ubereats. I ordered Red Curry with Chicken. I didn't even know if everything on their menu is Lunch Special on Ubereats when i ordered because they didn't say it on the app. It was like $10.25. When i got it, I realized it was lunch special coz they included one mini egg rolls and some lettuce. As seen in the pic, that is the amount of chicken meat I got in my Red Curry. I called the restaurant and said i didn't pay over $10 for this dish with this much meat. The manager said they weighed their meat and individually wrapped. For this particular dish they put 4oz of meat because it was lunch special. I was speechless because there is no way it was a quarter of a pound of chicken. I told him I can send a pic so he can see and he said he is not saying he didn't believe what i said. He said maybe it might have fallen out when they took the meat from the container and there is nothing he can do because i ordered it on Ubereats. I contacted Ubeareats and still no response yet. For a 4-star rating, it was quite underwhelming. They had a one-page front & back menu, with most the basic Thai entrees. Prices were high but food was sub-par. The appetizers were pricey and came in small portions. The Papaya Salad had a weird sour, salty taste to it- definitely unlike any other Papaya Salad we've ever had- such a tiny, unflavorful $10. The Whole Trout fish was also disappointing. It came out sliced, looking dry, with sauce on the side. The 3-flavor sauce was not sweet, sour or spicy. The only entree that had any sort of flavor was the Pad Kee Mao (thick fried noodles) and even it was super greasy. Looking around, customer base was mostly non-Asians. I've visited several times because it's a close drive and perfect destination for affordable delicious food during lunch breaks. I typically go bath and forth between the pad Thai, pad kee mao and Thai basil. EVERY SINGLE DISH has been delicious with the pad kee mao being my favorite. The Thai tea is also perfect and made right every time. The only problem here however, is the waiting period after the meal for closing out your check! Most people that visit during lunch hour are employees working in the area. So naturally, no one has the patience to sit and wait an additional 20 minutes just to get their checks after a meal. This is a constant issue too (not just once in a while) because I know many people who LOVE the food and prices but refuse to dine here due to the wait for a check. If the owners and managers could get more people on their staff and eliminate or even cut down on that wait time, the business could be unstoppable! read more

The best item on the menu that I have tried so far is the Pad Gai Tod (House Special Crispy Chicken), it's thinly breaded to give just the right amount of crunch without feeling dry, charred, or burnt and then the sauce coating has the right amount of savoriness to it; almost like teriyaki, but less sweet and more umami? The next best item that I had was the Pineapple Curry (red thai curry, full red grape tomatoes, pineapple chunks, freshly chopped red and green bell peppers, basil, in coconut milk with thinly sliced white tender chicken in coconut milk with a spice level at 3. {The heat was perfect for me, it was enough for you to feel it without your nostrils and eyes watering, but enough for you to almost make you choke on the chili flakes if you eat it too fast. You'll still be able to taste the flavor from the other foods at 3; it won't knock your taste buds out.} If you have a weak stomach when it comes to spicy foods then I would recommend the Flat Rice Noodle In Gravy, it's not bland for a brown gravy and very filling. The drinks that we had were the Thai iced tea and Mai's Drink, I do agree with some of the reviews that the Thai iced tea is 'weaker' than the Thai tea we are used to having and not very sweet and watered down from the ice. They said that that's the way they make it premade and that more powder couldn't be added. So fair, take it or leave it was their response. Mai's Drink was better, it's pretty much lemonade with mint leaves in it with some type of blue syrup. Recommend that beverage over the other. read more

We love Mint Thai Kitchen! It is about 5 minutes away from our apartment and we get take-out quite often. It is very consistent and delicious each time. We usually get the Pad Thai, its a great sized portion and we either get it with tofu, beef, or pork. They do offer it without egg for a vegan option. Never had a bad order of it. We also love the Tom Kha Gai which is a coconut milk based soup with lemongrass, mushrooms, cilantro and other spices. Comes with chicken but we get it with tofu sometimes. Great soup option. The green curry is also very delicious. Perfect portion for one or to split with two people. The yellow curry is a classic choice as well. We usually get an order of egg rolls for the kids, they love them. All option you can choose your own spice level. We usually do a 2-3 and it is more than enough. Always great service and they have allowed dine-in recently. Great for any Thai dish on the menu!! read more

But if you want good, relatively affordable Thai food that is made to order, then I think you will be pleased. We go to the one near the Willowbrook Mall. I really enjoy their green curry, garlic pepper with beef or chicken, the Tom Kha Coconut Soup and the fried chicken wings appetizer. We do request that they reduce the salt used in the cooking. The heat range is what you would expect at a Thai restaurant ... anything above 3 brings tears to my eyes and sweat beads to my brow. read more

I was craving some Thai food & decided to do delivery so we got on Uber eats & found this place, they had a lot of good reviews so I might as well give it a try. I ordered the Pad Kee Mao & Tom Yum Soup with shrimp, the Kee Mao was fine everything was cooked perfectly but to be honest they put too much eggs that I could barely taste the noodles & veggies. The Tom yum was above average, but I hate that they added tomatoes to the soup. The tomato's really threw off the balance of the lemongrass and lime juice, but that's just my opinion. Honey Ginger hot tea is DELICIOUS I'm not much of a ginger person but the flavor it gives in this mix is so pleasing Fried chicken wings are amazing I'm not a huge fan of wings but I tried these and definitely had 2. The chicken flavor is already great and just as delicious with the sauce. I can't day the sauce makes it better because the chicken itself is so good that half the time, I forgot to dip it Pad Makheau is so different and we'll made I was worried about this dish since most places have soggy eggplant.
