Great food and service. The food has been consistently good and hits the spot when I'm craving Chinese food. The lunch and dinner specials are the way to go since you get a choice of spring roll or soup with your main meal and the portion is pretty big. The menu is pretty large, which should suit various pallets. The bath rooms are a bit tight, if using a walker or wheelchair. There are assistive bars, and it was pretty clean. Friday night was perfect for Chinese food. The place is located in the shopping strip next to Exxon and aside the subway. I placed a pickup order for rice and bbq pork. I arrived 20 min later and the food was hot and ready. The food was not bad but I will say the shrimp used were tiny precooked shrimp. We had food delivered. Absolutely awful. We got a variety of dishes, and the crab cheese puffs were really the only thing that was edible.

Ordered 3 dishes and a large soup last night. Arrived to pick it up and the lady stated they gave away my order by accident and would have to re-make it. Apologizes and says give us 15 minutes. Well she goes to the back and comes out in 3 minutes with everything packed up ready to go. Thought that was too fast but figured they just gave us someone else's order they were already working on. Get back home, eat and around midnight we're both throwing up. My guess is they were in such a panic to remake the order that they didn't cook the chicken or shrimp all the way through. I got the bourbon chicken with white rice and pork egg rolls. The bourbon chicken was good but I wasn't expecting a sweet taste to it. They use way too much brown sugar with the soy sauce and too much juice. It almost gave a taste like ham or Hawaiian bbq when I was expecting just a grilled flavor. The egg rolls I have no complaints about, I will be back for those. This place seems like a "get it to go" place. You know, businesses that do not update their outdoor signage are just flat out lying to get business. Shameful. The soup, the egg drop soup to be specific, somehow tasted burnt . Don't ask me how that's even possible considering it's egg drop soup , But it did. I ordered a lunch special, a chicken dish. The first bite was an immediate turn off. It tasted like fish. I tried again, and the next bite was the same , totally tasted like fish. I pushed it aside and told the woman who was looking at me strangely that it tasted like fish and I couldn't eat it. She explained that it's cooked in fish oil or some kind of fish base. Nope, can't do it. If I'm eating chicken, I don't want to be tasting fish. So I did not eat the soup, and I did not eat my chicken lunch special. She did offer to make me something else, which I appreciate, but if they cook in fish oil / fish base, whatever it was, I'm assuming all of it is going to taste that way. Again I'm looking for chicken, not fish. It wasn't a light fish taste either, it was super overwhelming and fishy. As she did offer to make something else and I declined, I guess she felt justified in charging me $8 for the barely touched meal. Okay what am I going to do? So - I had a craving today for some good Hot and Sour soup and we were on our way to another restaurant we'd found on Yelp, but the Houston Friday evening rush hour traffic proved daunting. We'd turned into a strip mall across the street from our hotel, to just go back and eat sandwiches, when we saw this gem of a restaurant. Since I am uniquely me, and we had just left another restaurant where the food was absolutely horrible, I walked into Supreme Taste and asked for a sample of their soup. I didn't wish to go through another bad experience. If the soup was passable, I was just going to get a bowl to go. The lovely young woman behind the counter brought a sample to me, and when I tasted it my tastebuds were made dancing and happy. When I said that it was really good soup, she said "Yeah, that's right!!". LOVED the confidence. My husband and I decided to sit and have a meal and I am so glad we did. The service was courteous and QUICK! We both ordered a large bowl of the Hot and Sour soup, plus the Beef with Broccoli. We enjoyed our meal tremendously and if we are back in the area again, we will return. Went there for lunch today and tried their lunch buffet for $7.95. This is a small restaurant with a somewhat small buffet line. However all of the food I had was good. Also my service was good. While I don't view this as a destination type restaurant, if you are nearby and want Chinese food mine was ok. I would expect their food on the menu is good too. I went in here expecting to give them a 2 (by reading the other reviews) but my experience really was more like a 3. The restaurant was full for lunch but there was always plenty of food on the line and I was checked on several times during the meal asking if I needed anything. One thing to keep in mind if you come during the lunch hour. This restaurant is located in a small strip center that also houses a pizza joint, a Subway, a donut shop and a Mexican market that serves food. There is a small parking lot for the entire center and parking can be impossible. For dinner its not as bad of a problem but lunch time can be aggravating. Your only other option is to park on the Legacy Park Dive beside the strip center. read more
