The owner of the shop was is a little Asian woman & she was so sweet & conversational. She was telling us about how they were thinking about starting karaoke nights(which I think is a great idea) our server was friendly as well & gave us suggestions on the menu. I ordered the Pad see ewe level 2 (Medium) & spring rolls. Pad see ewe is going to be my new favorite go to after this dish! The flavors were there popping & the spicy level was just right(enough of a kick to keep the dish interesting without overpowering the flavors). The Spring rolls weren't my cup of tea. It seems like they use just iceberg lettuce for it rather than mint and a mixture of greens. But the dipping sauce was delicious. My bf ordered seafood curry(level 5!) I didn't get to taste it myself, but he loved it. It came with shrimp, scallops, mussels, octopus or squid(I couldn't tell) and the rice was so cute. They put it in a little heart shape. read more

We haven't been back in this place for a while, We came to celebrate my daughter birthday and we notice itson new management. The food is still delicious especially the yom yum soup and Pad ped pladuk. The place is busy not sure if due to small number of staff or a lot of big group. The food took a long time to get served i think it took more than 30mins. For our order to came out. The waiter was very nice and very attentive to fill up the drinks. Some of you may know that I'm always searching for delicious and authentic Thai/Lao cuisines well here's another place for you to checkout and I guarantee you will add it to your favorites . It's under new management and I went for lunch with my sister whom actually told me the food is way better-- typically I question my sister about what's good but she definitely got this place right! We ordered fried chicken wings (this is just a must have), that comes with sticky rice, spicy seafood LardNa (spice level is up to you), and an off-menu order of everything but the kitchen sink papaya salad that has papaya, seafood, homemade noodles, and veggies. My mouth is watering just typing this review that's how good the food was. The chicken was fried to golden perfection well seasoned, seafood LardNa was oh so good, the broth had all the Asian seasonings and seafood was fresh, the papaya salad alone was a meal! If you love papaya salad, then you will absolutely love and crave papaya salad made this way. While I would wait for my mouth to cool off from the spicy heat, I noticed they had lots of to-go orders coming and going. It looks like they also have karaoke night as I noticed a spot setup for one, which I'm sure is fun-good fun plus good karaoke equals a great night! My goodness! Why did it take us so long to try them out again (it's been ages). The service was thoughtful, definitely showed they cared about how our experience with all their food was. The ambience- the restaurant is very well kept considering how long it's been there... clean, beautiful Thai decor/vibe and bright and quiet! The food- best pad Thai, most authentic I've tasted where it was just the right amount of tamarind, fish sauce, and sauce to noodle ratio was perfect! We also had the tiger cry (first time ever to be asked how we wanted the beef cooked)- freaking delicious especially with the tiger cry sauce. We ended with Mango sticky rice and the owner (I think) came up to us to even apologize for the mango not being ripe yet but it was still soooo good! We CLEARED all plates even the lettuce decor! Very happy we chose to come here on our kidlesss day thank you guys! Definitely my most favorite Thai place and can't wait to come back to try more items! read more

The Thai sausage was delicious, I could taste all the herbs and the casing had a nice little snap. Served with a sweet chili sauce but honestly i enjoyed it more without. Thai/Lao sausage is one of my favorite things ever. The papaya salad was delicious, sweet, tangy, spicy, little salty, and refreshing. Hit every flavor note you'd expect from a papaya salad. I'll be honest the cheese rolls and spring rolls weren't as rememberable because the sausage and papaya salad just outshined them. For our entrees we shared the beef salad, garlic with beef, and drunken noodles. The beef salad really flavorful, the herbs were bright and fragrant and the onion had a nice crunchy and sweetness which complemented the sauce it was topped In. Would highly recommend this. The drunken noodles was delicious, I'm not sure how to describe this as it's what you'd expect from drunken noodles. The slight char on the noodles from the heat of cooking added a nice flavor. The stand out was the garlic sauce with beef. Man I wasn't expecting this to be so good. It has what I assume is an oyster sauce base and I could taste the white pepper. Rice is perfect for asking this sauce up. This would honestly go well with any carb. Highly recommend it. read more

The cheese rolls a little less cheese/creaminess than I prefer but other than that all amazing. We ordered the stuffed eggplant appetizer (very interesting - with chopped chicken), cheese rolls, veggie dumplings, drunken noodles(chicken), mango curry (beef + shrimp), Tom kha and mango sticky rice. Order was for two people LOL;) The soup was one of the best I have ever had. Curry was perfect - nice spice and sweet amount and very thick. Noodles good (needed more spice so note that when u order.) eggplant was different than anything I've ever had but I would get again. They have lots of other app options I can't wait to try - thai toast and fried tofu up next! Prices were great as well. Entrees around 10 bucks. I had mango curry here and thought it was spot on. Level 4 of 5 hot was more like 1-2 level so dont be shy to ask for Thai hot if you like it spicy. The place has an old out-dated feel to it which I guess isnt bad but its not a place i'd go for date night. It serves its purpose as a small local Thai restaurant and I think they do a good job. Based on the curry i'll say the food is pretty good here considering i've been to more upscale Thai restaurants who totally ruin their curry with excessive coconut milk. There is just not much to say about this place. Its a simple Thai restaurant and if you live close by I think its good enough. I'd stop by again if in the area. Great little thai spot. I really loved the interior, the center wall allows for additional privacy when dining and the decor is very warm and I would say it could be a good date spot. Ok so I came for lunch on Friday and they only had one server attending everyone so it was a while before he came to ask for my drink and order. I was slightly worried that the food would come out slowly too but fortunately it didn't. I ordered the green curry with chicken and their soup of the day with my lunch special. This hole in the wall establishment has a very friendly wait staff and a good menu. Their appetizers were to die for! We had the crispy shrimp and the chicken wings, both of which were just great. The shrimp was very crispy and perfectly cooked in the middle and the wings had that divine skin and were so juicy! The main entrées were less impressive. I had the Pad Thai and I really wasn't a fan. It had a sweet flavor and the noodles were slightly soggy. My brother had the teriyaki chicken and it was pretty good. The drink and dessert options were great as well. We had Thai tea and coconut water, both of which were excellent. The dessert, a thai rice pudding of sorts, was visually very unappealing...but upon trying it, It's fantastic!! Very rich and creamy. Highly recommend. Overall, I'd suggest giving this place a try. Were I to return, I'd probably just load up on like 3 orders of the shrimp and some chicken wings. They were that good! Sidenote: They had one of the best karaoke performers I've seen singing the night we went. We didn't see him at first and we thought it was the radio. I tried Panang for the first time with a friend and was impressed with the service, food, price and delivery on hotness level which so many Thai and Indian restaurants tone down for the expected American palate. The tom yum with chicken soup was deliciously tangy. Massamun curry came with beef, which I first wanted to substitute with tofu, but I deferred to our waiter who insisted beef was the better choice. It was definitely good quality and tender like stew meat. My friend had drunken noodles with chicken and it was also flavorful. Hotness is of course subjective, but for a frame of reference the level 2 drunken noodles were hotter than some of the alleged "level 5/Thai hot" served up by most local places I've tried. The level 4 Massamun curry was hot enough to make my nose run, yet did not overwhelm the flavor. Panang is BYOB but Champions Liquor is located conveniently in the same plaza. Prices were very reasonable given the quality and what amounted to two-meal servings. read more

A friend recommended that I try this place & I'm so glad I did. Decided to have a family dinner here for almost 12 people. Plenty of parking and we were able get a table together fairly easy. The dishes are very easy to have as shareables/family style. Our waiter was polite and helped to recommend several dishes that I wouldn't have thought to order b/c I am not familiar w/this cuisine, but I am so glad he did! WOW. Several people in my party said that this is the best meal they have had, hands down. It was an amazing experience topped with BYOB--thank you. We brought our own wine and sake to enjoy. Here are some highlights that were ordered: Beek Jerky, Nam Khao Tod (crispy rice, oh so good), Thai Sausage (sweet), Papaya Salad, Nam Tok, Crab Fried Rice (good), Thai Basil Fried Rice, Heavenly Chicken, Pad Ped Pladuk (excellent and surprisingly everyone's favorite dish!), Pad Se Ew w/tofu (good), Pad Ke Mao w/beef, and Chicken Lettuce Wrap.
