Cool slick pad sitting off W State; With two main spaces inside: - up front bar , quieter, slick. - & the back Loud lounge w much more people and Noise. Don't be deceived by the Mojito bar description; they gots tons of other bev.'s, .. like their v tasty Caipirinha or some Cuba Libre, fashioned by the mysterious Abigail :) They also gots a Cuban Chicken Sandwich u should certainly consider. My wife and I were on a Sunday afternoon walk through the city when we spotted this tiny spot that we'd been meaning to try for awhile. We'd both forgotten our water bottles for the walk, and she was craving juice of some sort, so this seemed like a good spot to drop into for a quick refreshment. My wife got a virgin mojito with passion fruit, and it was delicious. I got the Cuba libre, which was great, too. We split a chicken empanada and some little fried cheese balls--I'm not sure what they called them, but they reminded me of pan de queso from Colombia, just more cheesy and fluffy. Both were phenomenal, and the garlic cilantro sauce they came with was amazing--I'd put that on anything. We ended up getting another chicken empanada to split before leaving because it was so good. The breading is super flaky, almost like a croissant. The service was great and the small restaurant was quaint and colorful, with lots of indoor plants and an overall cool vibe. We saw they have happy hour specials on occasion, so we'll definitely be back to try more. read more

Had to wait quite a few minutes (approx 615pm) for service. Not super great. Mojitos were good, not the best I've ever had, but good. Served wirh a giant boba straw...so expect to get mint leaves right in your esophagus. read more

We absolutely love this spot. Been here a few times and everything is wonderful. The mojitos are the best I've had. Make sure to try the chicken empanadas and the stuffed shortbread cookies. Service has always been top notch and cute sitting areas in and outside. read more

Love, love, love this place!! We were in Savannah for a girls trip, and we went to this place a few times for empanada's and mojitos. It's not a big place but there are seats to sit inside or you can take the food and drinks to go. I made sure to recommend it to friends of mine going to Savannah as well and they made sure to make it a stop! They also were very happy with it. read more

The empanadas were good. They're small. The amount of food inside them is conservative, but it was good. The sauce is good that they give you. The corn was delicious especially when you squirt the lime they give you in it on top. Overall, I was very happy and felt they did a great job and I'll be back. The Pina colada etc looked good too. read more

Cute little spot on the outskirts of downtown. A simple menu of Tasty Mojitos and Empanadas. There are a few tables in the back but it gets loud in a hurry. Not really the kind of place to hang out in but definitely refreshing pit stop to escape the Savanna heat with a drink or two read more

This place is a great low key spot for good drinks and food. The empanadas are crispy and stuffed full of meat and the mojitos are made fresh. I mean you literally watch them muddle the mint with lime. And the top it off with a piece of sugar cane. The music makes you long for a sandy beach and the sun on your skin. I felt like I was transported home to Puerto Rico. This is definitely a bit of a hole in the wall but the inside is much bigger than it appears. For a low key spot in a touristic area, this place exceeded my expectations. We later learned it is a local, woman owned business. We both had the caipirinhas, which were well prepared and strong. For the empanadas we tried the veg ones (spinach and cheese), pork and chicken. They were all delicious and very satisfying. Love how they offer free water in a bubbler. Service was quick and super friendly. Chill ambience with a few tables in the back of the store. Bathroom was nice and clean and had a purse hook on the door. read more

I went with a group for a mixology class at the speakeasy. It was informative and a fun experience. When we first arrived we were greeted with very friendly employees and a mojito while we waited for the class to begin. We had some bites to eat during the class and the empanadas were outstanding. I really enjoyed the speakeasy and the drinks were delicious. I would highly recommend checking Mint To Be out. read more

How have I never reviewed this place?!? It is always a stop when I come to Savannah. Delicious mojitos, caipirinhas, and sangria. Last time we stopped in, there was a dance class going on which was fun to watch. The speakeasy opened a little bit after we got there and that is a whole different vibe. We had just had a yummy dinner at the seafood company, but wanted to continue to hang out. I am an absolute Mojito fiend so when we found out about this place, I had to check it out. We didn't have any of the bites since we had just eaten. There is a wide variety of Mojito's. I have to say, I was quite disappointed. I've definitely had better Mojitos. They were very weak, had a lot of ice, and expensive. The music was nice, and we had a good conversation, but not necessarily a place I would highly recommend or go back to when I visit again. read more

This is a nice little restaurant slightly off the beaten path, but not too far off! They had a ton of different mojitos to chose from and a ice selection of food. I had the cucumber mojito and a Cuban sandwich. Both were excellent! We went at about 1pm and they were busy, but the service was quick and friendly. I highly recommend a stop! read more

While on a girl's trip to Savannah we decided it would be fun to take a "wine and true crime" tour. This kind of tour stops at different bars around town while you walk so you can enjoy drinks while learning some history about the town. The tour was fun, but this first stop was kind of a miss for us. First of all, let me say I was STOKED about the idea of a mojito bar. I love mojitos and this place is super cute. You'd think since they specialize in mojitos that every mojito on the menu would be wonderful, but I have to say this was unfortunately the worst mojito I've ever had and my girlfriends also didn't care for theirs. One of my friends just dumped hers at the first trash can we saw and I only drank half of mine before following suit. Additionally the guy working was stressed and while he kept his cool, he was a bit short with us and others in line, and I'm not sure if he was just rushed, or didn't like that we were part of this tour, and maybe that's why the drinks were bad? Not sure but I probably wouldn't go back for fear of being so severely disappointed again. Hope someone reads this and that it was just an off night! read more

Great selection of fresh made with fresh ingredient Mojitos! My wife and I love Mojitos and stop here every time we are in town. This can be a popular place even during the afternoon but we have usually found a seat at the bar, tables, or even outdoors. If you're hungry we recommend their empanadas. I am particular for the beef while my wife likes the chicken. They also have other food and drinks to choose from. This is a small quaint spot in the ambience was really nice. I ordered the passionfruit Mojito and the blueberry Mojito. The passionfruit Mojito was really good really flavorful, and the fruit in the drink was nice and it honestly tasted like a sweet drink. The blueberry one taste you taste a lot of the alcohol and the blueberry flavor just wasn't that good but overall, I would definitely give them another try. It's located on top of The Alida hotel (also one of my fave boutique hotels) in the historic River Street district. I've had the chance to visit The Lost Square both during the winter and this past week during the summer. They have a great view of the river and cozy lounge seating, as well as a full bar. The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!

For my appetizer, I had the crab cake with homemade tartar sauce, which was a light, bright way to start the evening. For my entree, I had the filet mignon. The server will tell you, the menu says tapas, but the servings are larger than that. Meat portions are generous at 6 oz. My only complaint is that I ordered my steak medium and got closer to well done. At least the steak was still moist and not dried out, but I would be hesitant to do the steak again. The spinach risotto I had with it was creamy and cheesy, however, so that was nice. Other options for food include burrata, a charcuterie board, grilled shrimp, sea bass, salmon, scallops. The cocktails are the real star here. They fall under the categories "strong and adventurous," light fare," and "signature." Non-alcoholic cocktails are also available. I started with the medusa 1597, under "strong and adventurous." Made with Old Tom Gin, extra dry vermouth, truffle, grapefruit, and amaro, it was extremely strong. A bold, slow sipper I would have done better to have later in the evening, but I still appreciate the complexity of it. I also had the Bella primavera, a lighter cocktail under the signature section. Made with pisco, blanc vermouth, French herbal liqueur, watermelon, and basil leaf. A smoother, brighter, faster sip than the Medusa. And I also had the blood orange martini, made with French vodka, blood orange, lime, and cranberry. A little sweet, but not cloying, and again, would have been a better starter as opposed to a closer. I think when I return, I will ask the bartender to make me off the menu drinks. This place seems creative enough that the outcome would be fantastic. I loved this place. The vibe, the view, the service, the offerings. Can't wait to see what more they have in store.

Thumbs up on both, particularly the croquettes which were the right balance of gooey and structured enough to eat with the delicious sauce on the side. The cinnamon toast banane was not so much toast as cinnamon rolls with bananas foster; the cinnamon rolls were really tasty and the bananas foster was good, though the bourbon flavor was strong. For my entree, I ordered one of the lighter vegetarian dishes - the mushroom tartine with tomato soup. I think it is one of the lighter dishes - certainly lighter than what my dining companions ordered - but it was still quite rich with a fair amount of gouda fondue in the tomato bisque soup. The mushroom tartine/sandwich was really flavorful with the pesto, cheese and tons of mushrooms. The restaurant is quite large with an upstairs seating area.

If you are going to advertise your establishment as "good for kids" please consider the way you are talking to families who want to dine here.

This said, I do think there is inconsistency based on staff at the restaurant. On one occasion they have accommodated a request, and on another I was denied the exact same request. I found this frustrating. On one occasion I've also seen management talk down to staff here, which is a big no no for me. All people (especially staff) are due respect and this rubbed me the wrong way. This was an isolated incident but it definitely made my dining experience uncomfortable. Especially because I was getting excellent service from the server!!! I've always had quality service from servers here. In the future, I would come to Rhett for convenience as a hotel guest (the hotel is lovely), but would likely not spend my money if I wasn't staying at the hotel. Overall- it's good food, decent ambiance... but there are soooo many good options in Savannah. You have to be exceptional to stand out in that city.
