If you ever see a chunky Asian dude traveling through the ATL airport with a 15-pound poodle mix named Cranberry, that's me. Yeah, she hurts my street cred. My girl isn't the heaviest, but I needed a break carrying over one of my shoulders (while she laid uncomfortably in her black, breathable duffle bag) through TSA. (*Side note: Security inspected my bag only to find raw meat--my Cranberry's dog food--and they got freaked out.) During my most recent departure from ATL, I was tired, cranky, and needed a break at the world's busiest airport. So I decided to utilize my Priority Pass membership (I see you Chase Sapphire Reserve) and stopped by Minute Suites. Things to know: ***** I. LOCATION: Concourse B, B15. Take a left at the intersection following your ascension up the escalator. II. WHY CHECK IT OUT: Stuck in the airport for an extended period? Chances are you'd like to put your feet up and relax (in private). The room comes with a computer, a somewhat comfortable sofa, and adjustable lighting. III. PRICES: I only did an hour with my Priority Pass membership. Without it, though, it's $42 an hour with $15 increments. IV. EXPERIENCE: I had a decent cuddle with Cranberry for about 45 minutes, shoes off and all. The sofa isn't the most comfortable, especially for the price, but it's comparatively much better than anything else in the airport (aside from the chairs in the Delta lounge). I was surprised to see that they don't offer a private bathroom. You'd think that would come with the room. V. OVERALL: Good enough experience for me to consider staying at Minute Suites if I get stuck at the airport before a flight. read more

I had a three hour layover in Atlanta and was not in the drinking kind of mood. What did I really want? A NAP. Enter, Minute Suites! I found it via the Priority Pass directory and so my fiancee and I made the trek to Concourse B to find it. What exactly is Minute Suites? It's kind of like a very mini hotel in the middle of this very busy airport. There are only six rooms so while I thought we could walk right up and enter, we instead had to wait until the next opening on the hour. My pass got us an hour free, while regular rates are $42 an hour with 15 min increments and a variety of add-ons also available. There was a sofa bed that pulled out so that you could fit two people, a pillow, blanket, desk area, outlets, and a TV with cable. Overall, this place has RELAX written all over it. There was even a sound masking system which took away the noise from the outside concourse and we were actually able to get some shut eye. While I try to avoid long layovers at all costs, I'm glad to know this is an option if I ever get stuck in Atlanta again. $42 seems a little steep for just an hour but the hour free with a Priority Pass is nice if you're not able to access another lounge. Make a reservation if you want to guarantee a space will be available! read more

Really not a bad spot. My flight kept getting delayed and then eventually was pushed to the following morning. I purchased the 8 hour package. The pullout is decently comfortable, but the pillow and blanket are barely enough. However, the white noise and multiple outlets were nice to charge all of my stuff. Really not that much more than a hotel and I got to wake up in the airport right by my gate. So that's a plus. I'd suggest it if you are unexpectedly stuck in the airport overnight and have the extra funds to spend. read more

I stopped in the minute suites when I needed to take a conference call assuming that for $42 an hour, I would at minimum be able to take a quick conference call without issue and not be in a lounge where I couldn't be sure that my conversation would be private. Unfortunately, while they claim to have Wifi in house - the wifi was so bad that I ended up jumping on the public FreeATL Wifi that was slow, especially with a VPN. This would definitely not have sufficed for a call where there would be significant sharing of information or significant use of decks. This place also offers absolutely zero complimentary amenities charging even for a bottle of water and having quite expensive small extras. With no bathroom in the place, I think this place shouldn't call itself a suite as much as a bed as I didn't even get a key card so if I needed to leave to use the bathroom and return, I would need to wait for an attendant to let me back in my room. I understand other people rating this so highly as the noise of an airport does make it nearly impossible to get a comfortable nap and this is one of the few places where you can get it, but for the prices they charge, I would expect much more. At minimum, I would expect a bathroom and working wifi as for $8 more, you can enter any lounge for an unlimited amount of time and get nearly everything you get here plus some snacks, drinks, and newspapers/magazines. Bottom line, only go here if you intend on sleeping the full time. Otherwise, go to a lounge and get your money's worth. read more

This company has a concept that's unique and very long overdue in my opinion. There's nothing worse than arriving at an airport, knowing you have a layover of several hours and sitting there in misery because all you really, really want to do is to take a nap and catch up on lost sleep during your travel, or refresh yourself before the next leg of your journey. Enter Minute Suites, which are now available here at Atlanta airport, and also at Philadelphia airport. The one here at ATL has 6 "suites". each of which contains a sofa/daybed, TV, desk, and WiFi. The rates as of this review are $32.00 for the first hour, then $8.00 for each additional 15 minutes. If you wish to stay overnight (considered 11 p.m. - 7 a.m. in this company's rate card), the cost is $120. You can come here if you want a quiet and private place to get work done, or to take a power nap, and the rates are much cheaper than the $50 it'll usually cost you for a day pass to enter one of the airlines' private clubs (which offer WiFi, but not always a private place to get work done, and definitely not a dedicated place to nap). If only this type of facility was available at more airports! I can recall a number of times when I'd have happily forked over the $30 to get an hours' worth of downtime during a long and grueling day of travel. One thing that might make this facility better would be to have at least a small sink in the "suite" where one can wash the drool off their face after a nice nap. read more

I tried Minute Suites as part of my priority pass benefits and was a fan! I had a late flight on a Monday night, gov partial shutdown happening so unsure of TSA lines. I got through in 5 min so had an extra hour to kill and happily this location was right outside my gate! Since this was my first time, I wasn't sure what to expect. Some learnings: 1) You can pre-order/book ahead of time since the don't have a ton of rooms and sounds like they get booked out a lot 2) You only get one hour with priority pass but worth it if you're flying in B since there isn't a lounge nearby 3) Their rooms have a noise cancelling setting and couch that pulls out to be a double (?) bed, which is great for a quick nap or if you're traveling with a small family Reading online, looks like these are $42/hour? Not sure if I'd pay $42/hour (b/c I similarly wouldn't pay that much for lounge access and Minute Suites obviously don't come with any free food or drinks) but as a perk of Priority Pass? Hell yea! I can't. This place is amazing - can someone tell me why these aren't at every airport??? I was super early for my flight (4 hours) and I had had a beer and was looking for a nice corner in which I could exert a death grip on my belongings while I took a nap. Enter Minute Suites. There was a gentleman before me asking the desk attendant 20 questions before saying that the price was way too expensive so I was nervous about the price. It's $38/hr. As a New Yorker, that's a STEAL - I've paid $38 for Seamless takeout so this is nothing. The desk attendant escorted me to a room (they all have city names) and heaven ensued. The room has a leather loveseat, blanket, monitor and keyboard, wifi, and snacks in a sound-proof room. As soon as the door closed, it felt like I was in a hotel and not outside of the gate to my flight. The snacks are additional but are awesome if you are peckish, which I usually am between a beer and a flight. There was an alarm clock available but you could also ask the attendant to wake you as well. This was exactly what I needed. A quiet place in the middle of chaos with the friendliest person this side of the Mississippi. This particular trip has been hard, lots of delays and cancellations and my anxiety was through the roof. I booked an hour here to get some peace and quiet and got way more. Jessica went out of her way to accommodate, so friendly and helpful, a great lunch recommendation, just overall excellent customer service. My husband and I could've both used our Priority Pass membership to get free 1 hour each for a total of two house but with the time we had we only needed 1 hour. To be able to nap by laying horizontally, in a private room, with the option for lights on or off, with a pillow and light blanket, and even with an Amazon Alexa to set an alarm to wake us up were all nice to have! Although, booking the room comes with a kind courtesy knock to remind you that your time is up. The couch in the room has a little pull out on the floor for another spot to sleep on so you can't exactly lay next to your partner. Also, you can kind of hear any loud voices from the units beside yours, say if the ones in those ones aren't sleeping. The idea of Minute Suites is great. I landed in ATL at 2 am and my next flight was at 8 am so leaving the airport was not worth it. I also had a puppy with me which made it nice so he could feel comfortable without a bunch of people around him. You need to bring your own pillow and blanket otherwise you have to purchase one. My only complaint was the wall are NOT sound proof. I heard the employe at the front desk playing Tik Toks all night long which was very hard to fall asleep. I also wish that there was a private restroom for Minute Suite guests. I had to use the one across the hall but at that time of night it was closed for cleaning so I had to hold it until the morning. Who doesn't love a haven for rest after a long flight? Transit hotels exist more in Asia than in the US and when one needs one of these places, they are worth a mint. In Asia they usually feature a bed, bathroom, TV, lounge chair, wardrobe and sound deadening. That was, therefore, what I was expecting in Atlanta airport. But, here it is somewhat less. It's a small cell. Inside there is a small desk and a TV and a vinyl settee/bed. There is no doubt it was a welcome rest stop, but it is a long way from its Asian cousins, yet it is more expensive. If you are seriously tired, have an extended lay-over and have a few dollars to spare, this place is well worthwhile a stop, but it is not a typical transit hotel. However for us, after a long and tiring flight, it was pretty nifty. read more

I hate traveling, and the older I get, the more I'm willing to pay for experiences that make it less miserable. Minute Suites is pretty expensive-- I spent 38.00 for a one-hour nap. But that meant an hour that I spent in blissful, quiet relaxation, rather than crammed in the chairs at the gate. I was traveling with my 5-year-old, and it's exhausting being with him in an airport, as he wants to run around and look at everything, when I am not in the mood because I'm stressed, anxious, and tired. Minute Suites was perfect-- he played, colored, and watched TV, while I relaxed on the sofa. The staff was very professional and accommodating-- the kind of employee you find at a nice hotel, not the kind you generally find in airports. The sofa wasn't super comfortable, but it was orders of magnitude better than a plastic gate chair. And it was QUIET. I'll be flying back through ATL in a few days, and I've already booked my reservation, so I have something to look forward to. If you're an exhausted or anxious traveler, and if you have enough extra money to buy yourself some time in this little haven, it is so worth it. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars rather than 5 is that there's no bathroom! This facility was just what we needed in our time of crisis. After traveling for almost 30 hours, due to delays beyond on control, we found ourselves stranded at 3am with our next flight not leaving for another 4 hours. Tesharrie, the lady who checked us in , was exceptional. Even at that hour she was pleasant and immediately checked us in and provided us with an extra blanket and pillow. It was such a relief to have such a welcoming and friendly person after dealing with various personalities through our journey home. The space itself was comfortable, quiet, and we were able to control the temperature. There was a desk space and TV, though we did not use these they appeared to be good quality. The day bed wasn't a high end nor super soft, but it was far better then the benches the gate agents said we could use. Overall we had a great experience and got some well needed rest. read more

I had a really great stay at this Minute Suites, thanks to the wonderful guest services agent Elizabeth. I had mistakenly made a reservation three nights earlier but I never arrived to utilize the room due to being picked up from the airport. So on my return I called MS to see if I could use my hour based on my paid reservation previously. Elizabeth set it up and I was good to go. Yes, the room is small and it was also quite chilly. I am 6 ft 2 in and my legs hung over the small bed/couch but hey, I was tired so I made due. I was given a blanket and a pillow and I was told the drinks and snacks were available for a fee. I did not partake in that service. I was able to get a good 60-minute sleep for a cool $35.00. I used a ten percent coupon to reduce the cost. I would only use this on those rare occasions where I am in dire need of some shut eye and this was that case. Elizabeth is a wonderful employee and Minute Suites should be overjoyed to have her. I hope they are paying her well and taking care of her during this pandemic. read more

I was stuck in ATL for a few hours after a long weekend in PR. I was not looking forward to the noise and busybuzz of the airport. I was walking around and saw Minute Suites. After a quick run through of what it was, I said WTH and paid for an hour. I was very surprised at what you get. A small room with a bed/couch, desk, flatscreen tv that doubles as a computer with wifi, and a drastic drop in the noise level. It's not completely quiet (you are in an airport hello) but was definitely quiet enough to relax. I snuck in a catnap, checking my email, watched some videos online, and before you knew it, my time was up. Depending on your level of cheapness, this is not for everyone. The staff was very friendly. Only downside is I wish they would have had a bathroom to use in the immediate area. Freshening up in the airport bathroom is not fun. If you are fine with plonking down $30 for an hour of alone time, I highly suggest Minute Suites if you are stuck in ATL for a while. read more

Awesome little concept- I wish one of these was available in every airport! For those unfortunate enough to have to take a redeye with a longer layover, this is a godsend. Since we were dealing with jetlag and an extra 2 hours before our flight, we tried in vain to find some open spots in the Delta lounge to take a nap. At 7 in the morning, everything was jam packed and noisy. I blearily looked up "pod hotel Atlanta" and found Minute Suites in the next terminal, an easy tram ride to an adjacent concourse. Their website showed 3 rooms available, and check-in was friendly and quick. It was $36 dollars an hour plus extra time was available in 15 minute increments. A small price to pay for an oasis of peace, calm, and privacy! My husband and I were able to share a room, where the sofa was just large enough to accommodate two people- about the size of a twin bed. You get a pillow with a disposable pillowcase and a medium weight quilted blanket. There is also a tv, small desk, mirror, dimming lights, and a white noise generator, which masks the noise of the terminal pretty effectively. For a quick and easy rest, I highly recommend this place! read more

Its better than sleeping on the benches at ATL airport, but don't expect it to be like a hotel. I had to ask for a pillow, there are no sheets available on the "bed (which is little more than a couch) that you sleep on, and, despite the sound dampening equipment, its noisy. I also found the check in staff on duty the night I came there to be kind of surly. All and all, its better than sleeping on the bench at that airport; but is it a good value for the money? This is a great oasis in the middle of the world's busiest airports. First off, I would give this place 5 starts based on concept and execution of the rooms. Each day room has a couch that slides out to a bed, maybe a little larger than a standard twin size bed area. A small work desk, computer/TV combo with access to netflix and hulu, noise cancelling white noise generator, and individual thermostat all make for a really nice getaway if you have a long layover and can't take the crowds or if you need a quiet place to work and the Skyclubs are a zoo as usual. Unfortunately, the price can be restrictive and so Minute Suites loses a star in my book. $60 ($51 + taxes) for 90 minutes is a bit steep when you can get a room at a standard hotel for an entire night for not much more than that. Granted, it's a fairly captive audience and they're charging what people are willing to pay. Personally, I'd use this place more frequently if the cost ran closer to $25/hr instead of $40/hr. As it is, I only use Minute Suites when I need to get some work done or for a conference call. The other issue is that all suites were not built the same in terms of quiet and solitude. The Atlanta suite is right off the terminal hallway and directly across from the rental desk. Even with the white noise generator turned all the way up, and TV on for background noise, airport announcements and people talking at the rental desk are clearly audible. The other suites I've stayed in down the hall away from the terminal are MUCH quieter. If you have a choice, take the Atlanta suite only as a last resort! This place is more like a 2 star than 4 star if you're stuck in that particular suite. Perhaps they should offer that room at a discount. read more

Clarissa explains it all! This is my second time at the Minute Suites on ATL Concourse B. Both times I've encountered very helpful and polite staff. Today, because of flight/weather delays, I needed help adjusting a reservation--which isn't very straightforward with Minute Suites (they should work on that). Clarissa was super helpful making that happen. This was my second time in the Magnolia Suite. It's in the rear of the 5 suites, so just a single other suite is on the shared wall. You can truly forget you're in an airport for a while. It's very quiet. The white noise helps dampen most of the airport surroundings. Every now and then you might hear a boisterous neighbor. It's not until you emerge to leave the suite that you realIe how noisy and crazy the concourse is. The staff like Clarissa truly make the difference. While I haven't purchased any additional items like food or beverage, etc. they are definitely stocked for whatever you may need. I just needed some peace and quiet. If I have to include ATL in my travel plans I will try to plan some time around Minute Suites. Far more peaceful than a Delta Sky Club. Well worth the time on a long layover. read more

After realizing I was going to be stranded in the Atlanta airport for 12 hours... (This being a huge deal for someone who is traveling in a wheelchair without any assistance other than airport help) my airport assistant wheeled me to terminal B to check out Minute Suites. For 12 hours it was $167 a great deal compared to the Marriott At $155... Where I would have to be shuttled to the airport leave the terminal and the next morning re-check in and go through security. Then Minute Suites was a great find! But the best find was the young woman working the desk... Her name is to Tasharrie!! She was so kind offering to we all need to the bathroom - and win the airport wheelchair assistant left saying she was herself would take me the next morning to terminal C directly to my gate! I if this is the type of employee you are hiring congratulations - this made the whole experience at The Minute Suites ideal! read more

When you take a red eye flight and have a long layover, what's the one single thing you want to do??! Put your feet up! This place lets you stretch out and sleep! The rooms are small with great white noise, temp and lighting controls. There is a small-ish sofa that you can easily lay flat. The pillow and blanket have a strong chemical smell but once you close your eyes and drift off, it doesn't matter any more. It isn't cheap, but how can you put a price on comfort? I wish I could stay longer... Tip - make a reservation if you KNOW you'll be there and KNOW you want a room. I was outta luck one Monday morning at about 5:15 am when all the rooms were full and all I wanted was a 90 minute nap!! I already have a reservation for my trip next week.... What a horrible place to stay. They charge boku bucks $168.18 for eight hours and have a sofa that pulls out which is too short for a 6 foot man. There was a TV that didn't work and no bathroom. You literally have to walk out into the airport in the middle of the night if you want to use a toilet. Top it off with a grumpy receptionist who has to stay awake all night to let you into your room becuase they don't trust you with a key. I've stayed in airport type hotels all over the world and this was the worst and the most expensive. It's worth it just to shuttle out of the airport a short distance then to suffer such indignities. read more

Making my reservation months in advance I called one week prior to my reservation to reconfirm, and to my "horror" I was told that due to a new system change I had no reservation!!! However Ms. Swift assured me that I had no worries and that she will personally see that I am taken care of on the date that I had requested! Next I received a call from her manager of Minute Suite whom reassured me that a refund was on it's way, and I did receive it in a few days just as he said I would!!! 5 Stars to Minute Suites!!! This experience was such a blast! I absolutely loved the comfort of being able to change, freshen up, and rest without worrying about the uncleanliness of airport bathrooms and seating areas. I learned that my flight was cancelled after I was dropped off at the airport. Through my Amex, I have access to the lounges so I decided to hang out for four hours. When I pulled up the list of lounges, I saw that Minute Suites was listed. This was my first time and Danielle was very patient and answered all of my questions.
