You can schedule an appointment online through the CVS App, choose the time of your visit, and pre check in and you're good to go. At the clinic, you check in, and wait for them to call you. There's a waiting area outside the clinic. Compared to regular doctors, the wait times here is much shorter, and you will be attended to as soon as they are done with the patient visit in progress. After the visit, I picked up the medicine prescribed to me from the pharmacy inside the store. So convenient! read more

I have gone twice for cold-like symptoms which have lasted me over a week. Covid and flu ruled out, but was feeling very bad. For whatever reason the male doctor/nurse there refused to prescribe antibiotics. Needless to say after a few days I had to go to another urgent care. They not only gave me antibiotics, but also a steroid. MinuteClinic needs to get better, more caring doctors/nurses or maybe just this one guy. I went here on Dec 3, 2023, with a sore throat, cough, and body aches. I was concerned I had either Covid or Strep Throat. Making a Sunday morning appointment online was easy. Adrianna got me in a few minutes early and was very professional, efficient and friendly, asking necessary questions and giving me the proper tests including one for the flu too.. It was a relief to find out I only had a bad cold. In less than an hour, I left with the results, a print out of the full report and recommendation for the best cold medication in light of my health information. My husband and I were on vacation and had some trouble when the ocean got choppy! I got water stuck in my ear which caused me to not be able to hear and my husband messed up his back and needed X-Rays. The staff at the MinuteClinic were very helpful and quick to see us. In one visit they did not correctly contact my insurance and sent me the payment either way, without checking. My insurance contacted them and they realized they were wrong and hung up the call on our faces. This is so unprofessional and people that don't dispute claims like that get played because all that they want is your money. They don't care about their patients. Only about your money. If I had written this review immediately after coming here, it would have been four stars. The nurses on hand (I believe one was named Irene) were prompt, nice, engaging, knowledgeable, and patient. It seems that despite my proximity to the ocean, Miami has a host of allergens that loved to attack my body. As luck would have it, one of the nurses had, also, recently made the move from Chicago to Miami and was experiencing similar allergy woes. Some allergy meds, nose spray and some 6 Million-Dollar man experiments to make my body acclimate to my new environment and I was on my way. I had peace of mind. I knew I wasn't dying. That is, until Nurse Beverly called. Nurse Beverly (not one of the nurses who saw me) called to follow up on my appointment. It seems the only piece of information she had on file was my name and number because after she called, I was convinced that I was not long for this mortal coil. This woman is like a human WebMD.com -- complete with making you think you have cancer, heart disease, SARS, Dengue Fever, and HIV all at once. Abandon all hope, all ye who are called by her. She was rude, unprofessional, SPECULATED about my health, and had a disastrous bedside manner. The calm feeling I had after my first visit was replaced by sheer panic. I made a doctor's appointment that day, sure that I had acquired some malady the likes of which had only ever been diagnosed by Dr. Gregory House. By the grace of God, all was well. The initial diagnosis was correct and I sit here typing today fit as a chubby fiddle. But, wow, CVS. Located at the Far East side of Lincoln Blvd. (right next to Collins), makes it very convenient for tourists who need a quick medical checkup (close to a large number of hotels). My wait was about 45 minutes (had 3 people before me). They have a kiosk to do an electronic check in, right outside the nurse office. Well. I don't like this place much because of the area they are in and the constant homeless people in front of it. I got discharged from the hospital and had to pick up my medication for further treatment. When I got there she was asking me for an account and I said I don't have one. So she kept on asking me if I had it in another cvs and I still said no. Despite the fact that my whole paperwork was actually telling her that i just got out of the er and hospital and me telling her that i can't really talk or answer to all these question about an account, I was just really disappointed about the service. She told me that it will take half an hour for me to get anything and all together it took almost 50 min because she had to create an account? Yet had to small talk with everyone right and left, while I was literally having a hard time waiting for my medication since I already had the worst night of my life. I was trying to tell her to please do me a favor and speed it up because I'm really not feeling well but she just gave me a look. Next time i rather Uber myself two extra blocks and get treated the right way for my situation instead of walking two blocks thinking that's the better idea. If you have nothing big and you just picking something up I guess that's an alright place to do so. If you actually have a sickness and you not feeling well. Skip this place. read more

My husband and I use this clinic every year for our Wellness exams. It's very convenient as it's the closest to our home in Miami Beach (all others require a car and are pretty far). Terrible customer service. No one will open the 2 doors. The pharmacist is no help either. It's like you are bothering them. They do however ask for a credit card when you register. The wait time was 3 hours and 55 min. at the store. When you call the 800 number it says they are closed. Go to an Urgent Care and not a Minute Clinic. read more

This place is GREAT if you just have something small wrong & you need it fixed. They can fix lacerations, small burns, UTI, sinus infection, skin problems, epi pen refills etc for cheap. They accept most insurance and if you don't have it the exams are about $60 - much cheaper than a $1000 visit to the ER. They are fast, efficient and nice. I signed in and was called back and seen right away. I've stopped in for 2 different things (of course crap always happens on the weekend....and they are open to serve you!) and have been pleased both times. So, if you have a sniffle or boo-boo you need to get checked out go here for a quick in & out visit! They also offer vaccines (Flu, tetanus hepatitis etc), and some basic blood testing (cholesterol levels etc). read more

Th CVS minute clinic is located in the back of the CVS Drugstore on Lincoln Road between Washington and Collins. The Nurse was very nice but there was limited number of services offered. Whoever was on call (I was too disgusted to ask "her" name) today between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. was just horrible. CVS PLEASE hire people who care about patients, or hire those that are really good at faking that they care about patients. When she came out, no smile on her face. While I was actually in the office "to be seen" you could feel that energy "I don't want to be here" OR "I don't want to help this person". I have my own physician but she was on vacation and the other doctors in that office were booked for today and tomorrow. Went to this clinic because location was very convenient in spite of the bad reviews. After the electronic registration the screen informed me that there would be an 18 minute wait but before I could sit down I was called in. The Nurse Practitioner, Guerline Saint Pierre, was professional and very pleasant. In less than half an hour I was examined, tested, diagnosed and prescribed medication which I got at the pharmacy. Every person in line on the day I went waited over 2 hours to be seen and even the most minor conditions took over 35 minutes to assess and treat. It was truly ridiculous, particularly in light of other Minute Clinics I've been to that took less than 15 minutes. The signage says 15 minutes per person and that your visit will be quick. Not even close. I think we were all going a little insane... We learned later that it wa the nurse who was so slow because she was inept on the computer. Really? The nurse told me a bill for lab work would be $20-$30 without my insurance. I told her I didn't want the lab work and she insisted that it was necessary. I got a bill in the mail for $160. When I called the minute clinic to get this resolved, they told me a manager would call within 72 hours. It's took them a month and a half. Then they said I was lying and said I would have the pay the $160. Worst customer service ever. I will never recommend anyone go to a cvs minute clinic ever again. I went to the minute clinic in the crossings shopping center at 3pm today to get a zpack before my vacation they texted me at 6pm to get back to cvs in 30 mins which I did, I have been waiting since 6:10 and it's now 8pm and I still have not been seen, mind you they close at 7:30 and the lady came out and told me to come tomorrow, I said no as I'm leaving at 7am to go on vacation then she said well her appointments ran late and she doesn't want to stay late. I came in late in the afternoon on a Friday and to my surprise I was the second in line to be attended to. After a wait of about 10 minutes, an absolutely gorgeous woman who said her name was Sharon beckoned me into one of the two offices. I told her I had a uti, and she snapped into action. I'm not sure what title she holds -- physician's assistant, nurse practitioner? -- but she was the most efficient one-woman band I'd ever seen. She took my insurance info and my temperature, talked about my symptoms, did a quick exam, and led me off to the employee bathroom to pee in a cup. When I returned, she did the dipstick test, confirmed the uti, discussed a couple of antibiotics and wrote the script. Said they'd send a sample for a culture and call me in a few days if we needed to switch antibiotics. Done. 15 minutes. Great! Sharon said it had just slowed down after a crazy day, and I think it would be good to see another such clinic open up in south beach -- or else Sharon needs an assistant to do the paperwork. It can't be easy to keep up this pace all day and still have such a nice bedside manner. Bravo! read more

First of all, I love minute clinic. It saves me time and money andr he location is super convenient. The best part of this minute clinic is the nurse practitioner Sharon Grubman. Contrary to other reviews, I have never been so comfortable, and respected by anyone in the medical field. She is super knowledgable and has diagnosed and treated me every time I go to her. If I get a cold, I will wait until the days she is working(usually Tuesdays and Thursdays) just to see her because I know my experience will be the best possible. Other people wrote that there was a wait... But imagine how much more of a wait you would have at the ER, or at a doctors office. She's only one person..treating so many sick people. Anyway, the price is reasonable, the Nurses are amazing, and your on an outdoor mall. If you're ever sick on south beach go here. read more

I am on my second try here. This is the worst place I have ever been. How does it take 4 hours to see 5 patients? Such a waste of my day.

This is the worst minute clinic I have ever been to. The nurse was quick and rushed through everything. I was having a strep test done. She did the strep test, then told me she would need to send a second one out to an outside lab just in case. She said it would only be about $30. I told her that wasn't necessary but she insisted (do they have a "deal" with LabCorp or something because they REALLY want to send business to them). Weeks later the bill was $80. They said that my insurance was submitted wrong from the provider (CVS). The "nurse" gave them the totally wrong insurance company and everything. I had to call and correct everything so hopefully the bill goes down to $30 like she promised. The building itself is old and smells like mildew but that is to be expected in old buildings just like the rest of Miami Beach. read more

When I tried to reason, the nurse turned aggressive, yelled at me and stormed out. My advice is not to take the chance and look elsewhere. read more

Told the "dr" (?) that I was an RN and needed prednisone for my asthma attack. I had dealt with this condition for 45 years and know what I need. She said I first needed an exam. Fine. Did it. Then after 45 minutes, she had the audacity to tell me that they don't prescribe prednisone, that she would write a referral to another urgent ctr. and I owed her for my co-pay for this visit!! I came in on Memorial Day and was attended by David. Honestly I hate going to doctors, especially a new place, because of the questions and the lengthy visits. However this was the best experience I've had. It was super fast. David is super efficient and he works so effectively. I will definitely keep using CVS for my pharmacy/medical needs. read more

I came to the minute clinic with an eye infection and saw Sharon G. She was extremely rude to me and I almost left, but I really needed medication as my eye was swollen shut. I just wanted to take a moment and make a quick comment about my experience at the Minute clinic. I showed up the other day to see an MD regarding a cough and earache that i had been having for about 4-5 days. I signed into the kiosk and answered the questions. Shortly thereafter I was met by an attractive woman who told me her name was Sharon and that she was the practitioner on duty. She took me into a room and asked me a number of questions about my complaint and medical history. She took her time and allowed me to explain everything. She then examined me and told me I had an inner ear infection. She gave me a prescription and told me my insurance would cover the visit. THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME!! I was out of there in about 30 mins. Service was prompt, professional and efficient. I would definitely return if needed.... If you have a minor complaint.... check this place out and ask for Sharon!!!! read more

Great concept! This was my first time using a Minute Clinic. I was visiting from out of state and didn't know where to go to since I was sick. The hotel recommended that I try the Minute Clinic and I'm sure glad they did. The computer to sign in was a bit tricky to use. The nurse practitioner (Sharon) was awesome. I was in and out of there in less than 30 minutes. She took the time to explain everything to me, my doctor never does that! They have convenient hours but just like my doctors office, there is a sign up saying that they stop seeing patients at a certain time so make sure you get there in time to be seen. I will definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again and need to go to a doctor's office. I hope there is something like this in my town. read more
