I was in some pain and needed to see someone. I spoke with Michelle( I think her name was) and was very pleasant and kind on the phone. I get there and the provider was just as kind as Michelle. That day, Michelle was working as; Medical Assistant, Lab Technician and receptionist. Which those are 3 different jobs btw. I needed some lab testing and they were very gentle despite my situation. Then- this is where it kind of went down hill. I was summoned to come back due to an "error" with the lab. I was very hesitant as this was very painful procedure. It was a different provider and this one - not so gentle hands. I was ready to walk out. I was in tears in the exam room from so much pain. I could hear the assistant apologizing profusely while I was laying on the bed. Not to mention this provider opens the door while a male was standing at the door while I not fully dressed. When done, I walked out almost in tears. During this. They have an option to text a number. Forget that. I have been texting them questions since July 7( now July 13) and YET no answer. So don't bother with that. To make matters worse. I get yet ANOTHER call saying the lab messed up my SECOND sample and had to come in again. I cried. I said so your lab messed up a second time?! I get there- very unhappy. I'm irritated at this point. My original provider comes in. I made a comment about this being the third time and she was confused. Apparently it was NOT documented that I came in the previous day to take samples so the employees the next day weren't aware. Imagine my relief but extreme frustration. Still waiting for confirmations and questions. So I'm really disappointed in this place. I was very pleased with my first visit. But I don't know.

My second visit was a new nurse, but she was just as nice, thorough and efficient as my first experience. My third visit was with the same nurse I had the first time and my experience was equally as wonderful. I'm happy that the service here is consistent and my 3 experiences were equally great.

Assuming he wanted me to verify my information, I corrected his error on my SSN. Then, he opens the collection kit, removes two containers and gives me the third. He totally broke the chain of custody by not allowing me to have all containers in my sight at all times. When I providedhim my test, he said to set it on a papertowel on the counter. But, the paper towel was urine stained from previous tests. When I complained, he told me not to talk and that it wouldn't harm the test. OMG! Disgusting. When they canceled yet again, my local doc referred me to Dr. Mesbahi who immediately fit me in during his lunch hour Friday and operated on me the following Tuesday -- election day. Dr. Mesbahi had never heard of me before, yet he took all my medical records and input from my DC gastroenterology and got me taken care of like I was somebody important. The operation went amazingly well -- all my special considerations related to allergies were properly handled and I was in and out quickly. I healed well and have felt great ever since. I absolutely recommend Dr. Mesbahi as a compassionate and effective health care professional.

Not only are they thorough and nice, they also have an ultrasound machine and x-ray certain days of the week. I scheduled an appointment only after explicitly confirming with the staff that the doctor could refill my medications. I had just moved to Virginia from Florida on short notice to care for my mother after her heart attack, and I explained clearly that I didn't have a primary care provider here yet and urgently needed my routine prescriptions refilled. The staff assured me--100% guaranteed--that the doctor would take care of it. When I arrived, Dr. Singh immediately told me that his team had "misinformed" me and that he would not be prescribing anything. These are basic, standard prescriptions, that i've been taking for 10 years. I had sent them my medical records and doctor notes ahead of time. Not only was my time completely wasted, but I then received a $150 bill for an appointment where I was essentially bait-and-switched and left without the care I was promised. When I called to address this, the woman who answered the phone was shockingly unprofessional--talking over me, raising her voice, and treating me with outright disrespect. I've never dealt with a medical office that showed such little empathy, professionalism, or basic human decency. I rarely write reviews, but people deserve to know what they're walking into. This office is clearly more interested in billing than in providing actual patient care. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else.

When I arrived I was greeted with friendly staff that quickly processed my info and then was seen by Dr. Singh - he was excellent, knowledgeable, and good bedside manner. I was able to get an X-ray done, and Dr. Singh called me after hours to give me an update on the radiologist report. Overall fantastic experience, I will be going here again for any urgent care needs!
