I will say they always have deals and good sales and so the pricing is pretty good. They have a large selection and the place is really big so there's usually many of each item in stock. Got down there saw the reel I wanted. A shimano stradic 1000. So Christopher was my guy. Told him what I wanted and I was ready to buy. Well we couldn't find the key for the glass case it was in. Christopher went out of his way to help me. I also bought a rod, some weights, hooks, and a large funnel. They put some line on the reel and to the cashier. Small mom and pop shop with large prices and egos dishonesty and no professionalism. I went into…read morethe shop and Gerry claimed to be able to get me a product at a substantial discount. You know the saying, if it sounds too good to be true.... I guess Im used to dealing with honest people so I agreed to placing the order. I was being rushed by Gerry into signing a receipt without seeing any documentation showing what I paid almost 5,000 for. Immediately after I left, I had had a very bad feeling about how sketchy Gerry was acting. I went home and immediately saw that the product listed on the receipt was not the correct item he was supposed to order. I went down to the shop the very next morning and asked for any documentation or proof that an order was placed for the correct item. Gerry said he misspelled the product name on the receipt but had no documentation evidencing anything was ordered. He further stated that I just was supposed to believe him for his word. Gerry is a con man who was trying to pull some kind of bait and switch. I asked him for a refund and he claimed that I would be penalized a restocking fee despite that he had no proof he ordered anything. He didnt refund me anything. If his argument about a restocking fee was valid, then she should of at least refunded me the balance and I could dispute the restocking fee later. Instead, through bad intentions, refused to refund me anything and boasted that I needed to go through my bank. Gerry seems to be desperate to hang on to my money for the 45 days that the bank disputing process normally takes. Do not go to this hole in the wall. I only shop and reputable sporting good companies like Scheels. Take my advice.

They don't welcome you as well as try to avoid helping you. I don't know if it's because my boyfriend and I are brown but we aren't treated the same way as those who are white. They cater to the white community and are willing to help them and give tips/suggestions, however that's not the case for those of color. When my boyfriend asks any questions they disregard him and don't offer advice. While we were shopping they offered a white male advice as well as showed him what to use and how to use the bait. We were just ignored. Very rude employees. Nothing has been done with their attitudes and honestly the shop isn't all that. I would rather find a different tackle shop. I thought fisherman were nice and welcoming but I guess not them. We had also went on a guided trip with Seth and he treated it like personal fishing trip rather than a guiding trip. I understand him correcting some mistakes but standing in front of the boat taking first cast and overall not letting us fish independently, it was not a fun experience. I hope they fix their attitudes and guiding trips because it wasn't worth it.

Went to Wright Armory to get handrail and gas block installed on stock smith and wesson m&p 15…read more Website stated $60-80, At the store they said the prices were not updated on the website and it would end up being $99. They stated they were having trouble with the gas block but returned by gun to me anyway and said it *should* work. Unfortunately when I drove out to the desert to test, the gun would not cycle. They claimed it may be the gas block's fault and I would need to get another block for them to install. They then wanted to charge me an extra $50 to simply remove the old gas block and slide the new one on. I assumed for the $100 (for a half hour of work) would be getting the expertise of an actual gunsmith, but I assumed wrong. UPDATE - Took it to a different armory just down the street. They claimed whoever put the gas block on before had pinned it first then slid the gas tube in, stopping it from seating all the way. The gun now cycles after a quick 5 minute repair. Whether this was a genuine mistake or Wright armory trying to make some easy money off an AR newbie, I don't know. Either way I no longer have trust for this place

The only negative was that when we needed to reschedule our class to next week, the coach that was supposed to contact me never did so I had to call to get the makeup lesson scheduled for us.
