I have had Starkey livio AI hearing aides poor to Audibel and they were a wonderful product. But now that Starkey has been creating brands, they are not giving same level of focus on all these brands as they have w the Livio and Evolv AI aides. Now due to damage from poorly fitted and tuned Audibels , I am needing a cochlear implant. The audiology test done yesterday by specialty audiologist at Oregon Clinic found that was way off the mark regarding my audiogram. This may have contributed to my advanced decline of hearing. Audible does not work with cochlear implant as I will need a "Cadillac" of hearing for my left ear that correspond to cochlear implant in my right ear. And all the while I am having to pay $7000 for Audibel hearing that don't match my hearing needs or my audiogram . Also they do not use Hear Ear which is the gold standard for matching your audiogram to your hearing aides and eliminating several trips to the office to have hearing aides constantly retuned. This pertains to Willoughby in Gresham, OR. So what is your response to these issues?

Second appointment: a repeat of the same, tried to rescheduled my appointment, I was very inconvenienced and frustrated, again, tried to to talk to the office manager, after all of that I was able to keep the same day but at a different time. Im not completely deaf but I have hearing damage in my left ear and he took the time to listen and adjust the testing to accurately determine what hearing I still have, and what was gone. Ive had hearing difficulty ever since I could remember and when I first got my hearing tested at a different clinic years ago, they put me through the default testing and didn't put in the effort to understand my hearing capacity and they told me then that my insurance wouldn't cover my hearing aid. But when I got my hearing tested at the Oregon hearing solutions, Scott first took his time to see what was wrong and explained everything clearly to me and my mom so not only would I know the type of hearing loss I had, but specific things like the letters and different sounds that I had easy or a harder time hearing. After the initial assessment, he told me that insurance companies don't usually cover the costs for hearing impairments only in one ear, but he told me that since Im under a certain age that there's a better chance that they'd make an exception and that he'd help write a letter to further persuade them to cover my hearing aid, and they did! I got them today and I could not be anymore grateful! Scott and his crew are amazing.
