I am an 81 year old Male who has been wearing hearing aides for 5 years. My first set of aides I…read moreobtained from a different provider and had difficulty getting customer service. In fact, as I write this, I am still awaiting a phone call from that provider (approximately 4 months now) concerning a failure of one of those aides. My wife and I finally agreed to start over with an Audiologist provider and pay the full cost for aides and get the customer service I had not been getting. We found Hearing Associates and Dr Redding. We started from the beginning with a hearing test and examination. Dr Redding explained in detail each step he took in determining which devices l would need. When I arrive, often just as they are opening, I am greeted like a family member and have NEVER waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment. From our initial visit to this day, my wife and I have been beyond impressed with Hearing Associates and Dr Redding. I was fitted with Hearing aides that Dr Redding, Based on his examination and testing of my hearing, felt would be best for me. They were NOT the MOST expensive model in that Brand But rather they best covered my type of hearing loss. My previous aides came with a device that would play television in my aides. This was an important feature for me as I watch TV a lot...and the device plays IN my aides and I can mute the external speakers on the TV...which doesn't disturb my wife at night when she is sleeping. It took me 3 Days to connect such a device to my TV using my former aides. Dr Redding showed me the device made for my New Aides and then DEMONSTRATED how to connect them to my TV. It took me about 5 minutes to make that connection when I got home. Every Question, Concern, and Fear I had about selecting my New Aides was addressed by Dr Redding. From the Initial Visit to today my hearing comfort and understanding of my devices and getting the most from them has been the paramount objective of Dr Redding and every staff member I have dealt with at Hearing Associates. I have Medicare insurance and NO coverage was provided, I paid FULL price for my New Hearing aides and services from Hearing Associates. I got MORE than I paid for!! My wife and I both feel our experience with Hearing associates has been beyond amazing. When I visit for an appointment, It is very much like I am spending time with a treasured Family member. That is something Money Cannot buy! I have a hearing professional caring for me and at the same time made a trusted new Friend in Dr Redding and all of Hearing Associates Staff. I heartily endorse and recommend Hearing associates to anyone in need of their services. Rev. Dan Shankle

I had them four years and never liked them. Everything sounded like I had a bucket over my head. Eating potato chips sounded like two skeletons fighting on a tin roof. I couldn't decipher conversations very well, and I kind of gave up on long conversations because they were so uncomfortable. I thought, ok this is the way it is. My life was like the Prufrock poem by Elliott. I found Dr. Donna Hill at Audiology Professionals using Yelp. I didn't really expect much. More of the same...either an expensive fix on my old hearing aids or some new ones that wouldn't serve me much better. WOW, WAS I EVER WRONG! Dr. Hill let me try out some new behind the ear types. I couldn't believe it. I could hear crisp sounds. I could differentiate words without lag time. I know it sounds over the top, but hearing became a celebration. I swear these new hearing aids will change my life. Thanks, Dr. Hill. These things are tuned so accurately to my needs that its like I'm not hearing impaired at all. I even turned off the closed captions on my tv. Love these guys! Steve Stelle Author of The Hawaiians Series available on Kindle

Dr. Robertson, I'm…read morewriting to express how incredibly unprofessional this entire process has been. After being told by Kristy that you were offering me the position--and being encouraged to "be ready to negotiate" because she knew you were going to offer me the lowest wage on your pay scale--I was surprised and confused when the moment I began discussing compensation, the offer was withdrawn. At no point during either of my interviews did you speak to me about pay, so to claim that it had already been discussed to your hiring manager was inaccurate. And your hiring managers don't have the authority to decide pay? Ha. I rearranged my day, pushed through physical pain, and showed up on very short notice--twice--to demonstrate my interest and professionalism. I was respectful, flexible, and prepared, even though you weren't. To be told I was hired and going over details to start in 3 days, only to have the offer revoked within minutes of a basic compensation conversation, speaks volumes--not just about how candidates are treated, but possibly why you're struggling to retain staff, as was repeatedly mentioned. You also left it wishy-washy on a Friday afternoon, leaving me to wonder the whole weekend if I'm still hired or not, only for you and Kristy to never respond. "People just don't want to work these days." Am I right? As someone with a decade of experience, I know my value--and I also know when I've been treated unfairly. I hope you take this as an opportunity to reflect on how you handle hiring moving forward, although after several disrespectful and unprofessional interactions with you, my hopes aren't high. P.S. Take a look at questions that are legal/illegal to ask during an interview. So glad I rushed in for a second interview, for you to grill me about my personal life, in my leggings and sweater just for you to say to your hiring staff, "I want to see what she looks like when she's not all done up." In your own words regarding your employees, I didn't even have high expectations of you, and you didn't even meet those.

We asked lots of questions and were always received as if we were being difficult would receive very arrogant reply's as if we were questioning the Drs. ability. We wrote this off as normal surgeon pride. We should have listened to the little voices that were questioning the DR. After the surgery we went to the office to have the plugs removed and noticed the suction system they use after removing the plugs was covered in mold and looked as it had not been cleaned or emptied in a long time (disgusting). My husband was in intense pain, and the recovery was very extensive. Once healed we discovered he had zero taste or smell. He could drink a cup of gas and not know it. After seeing a different ENT we were told he now has a condition called Empty Nose syndrome which was caused by Dr Robertson taking too much of his turbine. Whatever you do DO NOT GO TO THIS ENT OFFICE!!!
