Made an appointment for 3:30, arrived and heard entrance bell ring in the back. After sitting and waiting for 45 minutes while over-hearing 2 employees causally chatting in the back, turned out one was Steve, he was completely ignoring us. My Mother wanted to leave. Thought it odd that there were no other customers the whole time we were there. As I walked around the store I noticed that everything incl. displays, counters and the old-looking eyeglass frames are covered with dust, water stains on many of the ceiling tiles, dirty air ducts. Signs of a major lack of caring in the business and presentation. When Steve did eventually stroll out, he gave no greeting and from then we were treated like we were agents from the IRS. He asked for her hearing aids, went in the back with them muttering something about cleaning them. Never checked her ears for possible wax accumulation. Mom wanted to leave but now was captive because he had her hearing aids. After another half-hour had gone by, while we over-heard the 2 employees chatting again which felt like an hour, I hollered "Hello," The other employee walked out and handed the hearing aids to my Mother. No "thank you," no invitation for her to put them in and converse a little to test if she could hear better. Just turned and walked away. UNBELIEVABLE. The customer service was so blatantly bad, it is clear that this is a dead or hopeless rapidly expiring business that had formerly been successful in years past (when the founder-father was actively involved,) but now is left to die. We will NEVER be back, nor send anyone else there.

My 77 years old father purchased a pair of hearing aids from Hear Clear Hearing Center and it broken leSS than THREE MONTH. Then he stopped wearing them, which he then missed place one of the hearing aids. We called to came into the office to purchased a 2ND pair for $500. This second pair broke in a month and registered under someone else name. He then found his first pair that he misplace. We called to come in with TWO BROKEN PAIRS. Alex, the audiologist said to our surprise that "you will only get one pair back." I said we paid for them, the 2ND pair for $500. He said the insurance paid for it. You only get one pair back! Now they have our TWO PAIRS hearing aids and $500 for more than 5 WEEKS and still no show. We called they didn't pick up the phone. They said they called us at my number, but never did. We drove to the office waiting for them outside and we met another customer, his dad has a similar problem. They didn't let us in the office yesterday. I called today and Sandra picked up the phone, screaming in the phone. Go to Costco to save your headache.

The office is clean and bright with lots if off street parking. Both are extremely profesional and friendly. From the minute you sit down in the waiting area you can tell that they value you as a patient. My husband needed hearing aids and we were referred to this office after a disastrous visit with another local audiologist in Bethlehem. Sandra made sure we had an appointment convenient to us, called to confirm and gave us detailed directions. Our first impression of Dr. Fontes was "what a great guy". He listened to my husband, understood what his concerns were (hearing loss and tinnitus), had state of the art equipment and recommended hearing aids that would help my husband with his tinnitus. He spent almost 2 hours with us. We came in with some information but Dr. Fontes explained the difference in the brands of hearing aids, what would work best for my husband's lifestyle and the cost difference. We are on Medicare and this is an out of pocket expense for us. He was very through. We never felt pressured to buy a certain manufacturer. We received our hearing aids promptly and have been back twice for adjustments. They are working out great. Dr. Fontes also told us that if we couldn't make it to the office he would come to the house. Yes he makes house calls. I wish my regular doctor was this accommodating. All I can say is if you need hearing aids and want someone you trust, this is the place. He is terrific. You won't be disappointed.

These people care greatly and are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. By the way, the other review has nothing to do with this business. These folks are audiologists. Assunta was looking for an urgent care medical business. Again, this business did an outstanding job helping me hear better.
