Miracle Method of Providence refinished the tile in two of my bathrooms today, and I had to write to describe my five star experience. The owner Tom and my technician Justin did wonderful work, at an excellent price. My 1960's house had a number of fixtures built into the tile, from toilet paper holders, to a small medicine cabinet, to a scale (yes, a scale that could pull down from the tile wall - like a Murphy bed). Justin and Tom pulled these old-fashioned things out of my walls, and it took a total of 59 tiles to cover over the gaps! In four days they did the retiling, filled other holes from old towel bars, and painted my orangey-beige and yellow striped walls a clean and fresh white, installed new shelves in the shower, and took down and carted away an old shower door. They went about their business with a friendly professionalism, worked to exactly the schedule we set, and left my home clean. The bathrooms look new! I'm a huge fan!! A before and after shot is attached (this isn't a "true" before, since the inset soap dish was removed & the hole patched, and shower shelves were already up). I don't expect any problems with the work, but if any do come up I have no doubt that I'll get exceptional customer service in addressing any issues. read more

Worker came back to correct the problem but the deterioration persisted even with extreme efforts to follow care and maintenance guidelines: poor adhesion, prone to marring, discoloration. I first found miracle method when I decided to make some updates to the home that I had just purchased. The bathroom wasn't in terrible shape but definitely had signs of wear. I wasn't in a place to completely update it, so I started looking for a company that could help freshen up the tub and the tiled wall. I first checked into Bath Fitter, but it was pretty costly so I decided to try Miracle Method. Miracle Method was able to come in and refinish the tub and some of the white bathroom tile to give it a much newer and crisp look. If my experience ended there, I probably would have given them four stars because while the final look was definitely an improvement, there were a couple of imperfections. After a few months of use, I noticed that some of the paint had started to crack and peel on the bottom of the tub. The nice thing about this company is that they stand behind their work and offer a five year warranty. I called the company, they came out to inspect and scheduled a date for someone to come in and refinish the tub. The technician (Ricky) came in today, and did such a phenomenal job that it looks even better than it did after the first time they refinished the bathroom. Not only did he sand and repaint the tub, he also applied a new layer of paint across an old crack in the wall tile and now you can barely even see it. He was quick, professional, and cleaned up after himself. I initially had expressed concern to their receptionist that I had a time constraint as I needed to get to work for a certain time so I needed to be sure that the technician would be finished by then. I honestly had nothing to worry about, as he was finished with the job in a little over an hour. I am giving this company five stars for their excellent customer service, and because the second technician Ricky did an impeccable job! If you are looking to refinish your tub and/or bathroom tile and are on a budget, I would highly recommend miracle method! read more

We used this company for 2 bathrooms. The quote we were given by Justin we were told this job.takes 3 full days..yeah....no. it took him a 3/4 day and he came back second day and left the plastic up around my window leaving the tape all.over my woodworking.for me to.still have to scrape off. The paint was on my floor and there are drip marks.. that was all fine and good and decided to ask them to come to.our second bathroom...I do not complain much and i liked it enough to overlook the small blips...the second bath...this was a total mess. I had to ask them to come back and fix the paint that was on my floor all around the room and he came back and made it worse. The owner Tom finally came out and tried blaming the grouting as to why 1 inch of paint was scattered all over and around the edging. He told me the only way to fix this was to.grind out the grout and regrout....I agreed and thanked him and told him I appreciate him making right by this obvious mess and his response was ....."I'm sure you are " and left abruptly. When the day came to fix this error he brought his helper who was very nice and polite and Tom left. His helper did not grout....instead they brought paint thinner and a scraper and scraped for 3 hours. It now looks like gray dust instead of black grouting like it should and the paint line is now jagged. I like the paint job however the mess that was/is on my floor grout line left us with a bad taste. There is now white chips of paint remnants left and it looks plain ol bad. ....Justin is a good salesman. But don't listen to his lies. TOM is rude. And the nice women on the phone truly is nice. Polite and treats you like a person and not an idiot. It's too bad because they came recommended . Their business will not be repeated and I will not pass their name on. As a business owner myself I would never ask a business to come back for no reason. Time is money and I would never blame the customer as to why I made a mistake myself. However this is what Tom did. Blamed my flooring as to why his paint line that clearly leaked under the plastic is what really happened and I find it unprofessional...... read more

Last year I got two bathtubs resurfaced by Miracle Method. I wanted to wait a year before I wrote a review so I could see how it wears. So far so good. My tub still looks nice, white and shiny. There was a small problem in the beginning but they got a tech out there within a few days to fix it. You do have to be careful not to use abrasive cleaners or tough scrub brushes, but they do warn you about that. The only reservation I had is that it is a smelly process that took a couple of days. Best to get it done on a nice cool day because the ventilator fan heats up the room pretty quickly. The tech was also a little chatty but he did a good job. read more

I had a tub refinished 3 yrs ago. At first I loved it. It was so much better than what I had. But a few months later I started to find chips all over the tub. It has also turned yellow in spots. (It is white) I called the business and they sent someone out to touch it up. This kept happening. In the 3 yrs since, I have had to call them about 4 times to come out and fix it. Then a few weeks ago the owner came out to see it and he was as rude a person as I have ever met. He told me very rudely that these chips were not covered in the warranty. I just said that the man that came previously never mentioned it and he became arrogant and walked out. First I don't know if all refinishings are like this or if this business just does a lousy job but I know someone else, a relative, who has a sink done and she is having the same issues with chipping and discoloration. I would recommend staying far away from this place as to not have to do business with this owner. He practically blamed me for the chips. Some of them are on the very top of the tub. It's absurd to think I could do that. Bad, bad, bad business. Stay clear and try any other place but this. read more

I just recommended these folks to my sister. I sold my home and I now live in FL but before I moved I engaged them to resurface my tub and shower surround in a small bathroom off a master bdrm. The tech did a bang-up job. This was 3 years ago, but I still recall that this man had such a fine work ethic. It was summer, and it was hot and humid. Very little ventilation in that small space of a bathroom, he had protective clothing on from head to toe (sweltering!) and he stuck to that job until the end of the afternoon. I ran up with H20 every half hour for him. I could not have been happier with the result. My home sold in 3 hours, and that bathroom was sparkling! Thanks to MM. Wish I'd left a review back then, but better late than never. Wish I remembered the tech's name to give him his props. read more

I am disgusted with this business. I had my tub reglazed and one year later a huge part flaked off. I understand things happen, that's why there are warranties, but how I was treated afterwards truly is poor customer service. First, I was scheduled for someone to evaluate my tub within a week, which I was very impressed with how fast they were fitting me in, but the day before they were supposed to come, I was rescheduled due to "a staff member quitting". I was then unable to be scheduled until one month later. The day before my second scheduled appointment, they called to cancel again, saying it was not their fault but that it was the technician who was taking too long at a prior job and they had no other openings for two more weeks. I told them I felt it unreasonable that I was being canceled a second time and I was placed on the phone with one of the owners who proceeded to yell at me, saying that I wasn't canceled the first time, that there was no documentation of that. She basically wouldn't let me voice my frustration at all, that a job that was supposed to take several days was now being prolonged one and half months in. Because they do no weekends or work past 5, I had taken time off of work to be available. When I suggested she push someone who hasn't been delayed yet, she said I was just a "fix and not a new customer" so that was unreasonable. She then hung up on me. I feel sick to my stomach the was I was treated. The customer service was extremely poor. I originally went with this company because my initial tub assessment was with one of the owners who made me feel I was working with a family owned business and would be treated with respect.
