Came here for a festive evening with my cousin and had an amazing experience! While it was crowded when we arrived and all of the tables were taken, we found an area to stand. Since the bar was overwhelmingly crowded, the bartender came over to us to take our order. We got some drinks and they were delicious! I got Rudolph's Replacement which is a must! I love the coffee, almond milk and liqueurs used in this along with some chai spices, which made it creamy, luscious and decadent while being so festive! I love the cup it comes in as well! Everyone working here was so friendly and helpful and the ambiance was so joyful and lovely! It was such a magical Christmas experience and I really felt transported to a Christmas land for the night while here. All of the decor were all Instagram worthy! Grateful to get a late night reservation for 9:45pm despite booking a month and 1/2 out. From the second you walk up to the front door you're transported to a holiday wonderland with wall to wall decorations that leaves your feeling instant happiness. Staff couldn't have been nicer and accommodating. Figured we would do small plates and drinks after previewing the menu in advance (thankfully got our order in before the kitchen closed at 10pm). They were sold out of a few items (makes sense with them being booked solid) but there's so much to choose from it wasn't any issue. We ordered the jalapeño popper eggrolls, truffle Parmesan chips, pretzel bites and crispy potato with chorizo. Everything was delicious. A huge fan. The atmosphere, the decorations, and drinks are all A+! The drinks, I have to say...are unique, but I was on a mission to try the different varieties and see the cups. The cups are such a great pull in and YES, you can buy one, which I did. We just did the shareables, but can definitely share with your friends. The drinks were really good, but the food was a bit disappointing. They were out of the Parmesan chips and the ribs, which we were really looking forward to. Our server also forgot our wings, and the deviled eggs weren't very seasoned. The steak was extremely peppery, almost overpowering. A stop at Miracle on Centre should be on everyone's holiday checklist. The atmosphere is absolutely magical! Every inch is covered in holiday decor. It is absolutely charming. The special holiday drinks are so fun and festive, you will have a hard time choosing. And they are all served in adorably themed glasses. Have some tasty eats to go with your drinks. The deviled eggs and Swedish meatballs are yummy, and they make a very solid burger. Plan in advance to come here, because reservations go quick! read more

My usual go to spot for the holidays - great for drinks, not great for food. Stopped in here recently and was disappointed with the meal. In the past I always looked forward to eating here. Sadly, will only come back for the drinks The drinks are delicious and served in fun cups! The Mac and cheese was bland. No taste at all. The buns (my favorite from last year) lacked flavor as well. We drove about an hour and a half to come here, since I grew up in Bergen County and this place was awesome for Christmas and wanted to share it with my husband . I was severely disappointed. Our reservation was for 8:45 and we were seated quickly. My husband ordered a Coke and it came out flat - like straight syrup. We approach the server about it and she said "yeah that happens sometimes with our service bar, sorry about that". We then ask if the bar has carbonation in their wells and she replies "yeah, they do. How about a lemonade?" I honestly was more annoyed at the response and the fact that you knowingly served us something you know was bad. Moving on to dinner. The menu is limited (5-6 entrees). I go to place my order and she goes "let me stop you...we're out of this, this and that" Also something I would have liked to know when I ordered my appetizers. Kind of disappointing that 75% of the menu was 86-ed by a 8:30 seating and basically the only thing we could order was a burger. As somebody who loves Christmas, well this is just delightful!! Don't forget you have to make reservations for here. And make it in advance! The moment you walk in, it's just Christmas threw up on this place, in the best way possible. The staff is all decked out too, all with the positive attitude you'd expect of such a scene. The place is small but has a nice open feel about it, they don't have anybody on top of each other to try and squeeze in more people. They have two rooms of dining, and at the moment it still seems, no counter bar service for this pop-up event. I think I heard they might have allowed that too, pre-Covid. The menu is limited, and I do wish they had more exciting options. But everything we ordered we did enjoy. We had the fondue plate, the pretzel, the buns, chicken lollipops, and cheese ball thing (forget what it's called). I will say I didn't like that they charge you for more bread, when clearly the amount of bread that comes with it is not enough. It was all more than enough food and tasted very good. The cocktails of course are the best part. With festive names and presentation. I was looking for something to do in the holiday spirit, and this was a perfect date-night decision. read more

Food was surprisingly awful, inedible chicken wings, tenders pierogies were filled w what seemed like box liquified mash potatoes, awful dry tenders, nachos cheese tasted awful and presentation was very sloppy. Drinks nothing special, over priced , only glassware and table ware was cute. Servers didn't care enough to ask why didn't eat food.They were attentive and polite otherwise. They were tipped well enough only because were nice. Our whole party couldn't believe we needed to book this fiasco months ahead of time only positive was the kitch decor. What a fun and festive experience! There really no better way to get into the holiday mood than to have dinner and/or drinks here. The decor is so magical and really transports you to a cozy winter wonderland. It's a bit difficult to get a weekend reservation during this time of the year but I was able to book a few weeks in advance for a group of 5. Keep in mind that there is a time limit of two hours if you come here on a weekend because it gets super packed. We sat in the dining room area which was separate from the hustle and bustle of the bar and while it wasn't exactly quite, it was intimate enough that our group of 5 could hear each other talk. The drinks are really creative and they taste great. I absolutely love the glassware that they give you with the drinks, it adds so much to the festive mood. While the food is certainly not the main event, most of the items are decent, elevated bar foods. We started out with the cheese board and fondue and I had the cauliflower tacos as my main course. I've never been to Cowan's before but I really like some of the other restaurant in the area managed by the same group so would definitely want to check it out even when Miracle on Centre is no longer there. read more

Horrible, horrible experience today for brunch. My family and I have been incorporating Miracle on Centre for about 5 years now into our Holiday traditions. Unfortunately today's experience has sealed the deal of never returning. We made our reservations for brunch in November for Dec 22 brunch for our family of four. It is a very cold day, and when we arrived on time they offered us the seat next to the door. We politely said it's way too cold, then they offered another table two tables down. i said it's so cold, we won't enjoy our meal. The manager happened to walk by and AGGRESSIVELY said thats all they could offer. His demeanor was extremely unprofessional in front of my two kids. We took the other table offered, i had to keep my coat on for over 85% of the time it was so cold. At the end of the meal I extracted a sharp piece of plastic from my mouth! There was this foreign object in my food! It happened at the same time the waitress removed our dishes and she asked me if that was glass! Oh my, What an entire disappointment this resto is. Not worth your time or money, it seems like it has turned into a terrible toxic place. Everyone working there seems so miserable as well, management has ruined this experience for me and my family. Apparently it is a health hazard too! No one should have to eat plastic in their overpriced miserable experience. Yuck! read more

First impression, such a cute pop up! It's like walking into a winter wonderland. I've never been to Cowan's prior to this visit but this was an absolute joy. Everything was themed, from the cups and table clothes, to the bartender's outfits and Christmas lights/wrapping paper everywhere. Santa really came to town and turned this already Amazing gem in Nutley into whay you would imagine his house looking like. From the dining tables being wrapped to the festive wrapped pillars, framed Christmas art in the walls... all the way to the Christmas Shakers for drinks! I visited miracle on centre at Cowans public in mid December. I was really excited because it was going to be my first pop up Christmas bar experience . To start, parking was difficult to find. I ended up having to park on a side street near by. I suggest if you're meeting people give yourself time to find parking. The food was not memorable at all which is why I am only giving this restaurant/bar 3 stars. The drinks on the other hand was fantastic. I had a christmasopolitan and loved it. We came here on 12/20 (Thursday night) as a group of 4. I didn't realize that you needed a reservation for a table so that was a bit of a bummer. The hostess was very helpful and offered to put us on a waiting list. We sat in the front, at a ledge area. Eventually, we got two spots at the bar so we ordered some garlic fries and wings, which were really good. The bartender was very helpful with her drink suggestions and seemed to really enjoy her job. The cocktails were delicious-I had a christmaspolotin and a snowball(...I can't remember the name but it was something similar to an old fashioned). We really enjoyed ourselves here. The only downfall is the prices. I think the cocktails and food are a bit overpriced but I think that's probably because it's a pop-up, holiday event. I've never been to this bar otherwise but I plan on going back after the holidays. read more
