Beautiful hotel. Excellent service. Super fun to just stop by for drinks and lunch but be warned, the food was very mid. The chips & guac and starter salad were good. The fish tacos were so fishy and bland, I don't even know if they seasoned it. I drowned it with guac to make it edible but couldn't finish it. Sadly, I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning from it. Timing this place with a sunny beach day is key. We stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and the wait was about 40 minutes for seats, but we walked back to the bar and got the best seats! Drinks come to about $30 each which is expected for a ritzy beach bar in Montecito. Yet, it didn't seem like too much alcohol was involved in each drink. The bar back was so kind and welcoming. Bartender forgot to put in our order for an appetizer which was frustrating but ambiance made up for it. I love the festive seasons at Rosewood Miramar, so far my favorite has been Easter with all the blooming flowers and what feels like everyone wearing pastel linens, but I will say that Christmas come in a close second. We just had lunch at Clarkes but decided to have a cocktail before we headed back to the house. I just love the casual ambiance of this bar, relaxing and watching the waves and come in and out. This is such a beautiful beach bar in the perfect spot over looking the beach with a working train track in the background that separates the area from the rest of the Rosewood Miramar property. This is just one of the many restaurants on the property. This one is casual but dreamy. They have comfortable lounge couches and other kinds of seating. Service is excellent although the waiters keep making their rounds very often to keep you ordering drinks and food. You can hang out but they expect you to keep spending for the privilege. The music and vibe are perfect. It is very beautiful and would make a perfect first date location. It's steps from the actual beach. We came with a bunch of family, all kinds of ages and still had a great time. The drinks and food options were excellent. We had: Mayan ceviche, fish tacos and french fries. 1. It gets a four because of the wonderful manager David. He is a reason it is not getting a three. 2. The mushroom tacos were incredibly spicy and drizzled in chili oil. I showed it to the server. Perhaps because the kitchen was closed nothing was offered. It just made my mouth on fire. And I usually like spicy. They should advise people that it's extremely spicy. They also should cut back on that oil. It just was not good The oyster mushrooms didn't even look like oyster mushrooms they look like the regular kind of mushrooms. I've gone there because I miss the cauliflower tacos which they no longer carry 2 hostess was terrific. 3. Playa Mai Thai was not very good. I've had it many times this one seemed week 4. Mayan ceviche came with just a few of those chips. When you're spending $24 for a cocktail and $25 for a dish, they should be a little more generous with the chips. It forces you to order more. It was sunset hour so there was a bit of a wait to be seated but the staff was super friendly and we didn't mind. Obviously everyone wanted to best ocean views so we had to settle for a decent spot which we still enjoyed. Great atmosphere. A beautiful venue with a beautiful view. Everything was great except the host, Kylie. She was rude and had us wait for the table which was already available for over 40 minutes. Thereafter, we asked to have a chair added, she refused to comply. Another lovely staff member kindly added the chair with courtesy and respect. Miramar Beach Bar, located on the upstairs deck at the Rosewood Miramar provided glorious views at all times of the day with great finger food. My girlfriends and I came here for lunch this morning prior to checking out from Rosewood. We ordered the following: Two orders of the tortilla chips, guac, and salsa. (One order is good to share as an app for two people). Two people ordered the fried chicken sandwich and rated it a 4/5. One ordered the cheeseburger and rated it a 4/5, and I ordered the Italian sandwich (recommended to me by the waitress), 5/5. Overall, great lunch spot overlooking the beach if you want quick finger food. One of the most beautiful seaside club in Santa Barbara situated just outside of Rosewood Hotel which has five star rating and Michelin Star Sushi restaurant serves reasonable beer and drinks. The seaside is beautiful and seating area is just perfect. The best sunset in California with gentle waves and perfect views with absolutely beautiful people and service staffs. Gorgeous. The decor is reminiscent of a beautiful, classic yacht. You feel like you could be yacthing when adjacent to the bar since the overlook is just there. You cross the train tracks to arrive and it's a quick walk through garden grounds after passing through the main lobby. From an aesthetic standpoint, Every detail is attended to here. When we were there, the hostesses were feuding and it caused a minor delay while awaiting a table. It's worth a small wait though. The ocean blue waves were sparkling and the weather perfect. We had two rounds of drinks, tacos, impossible burger & a salad at our table. It was dog friendly and we sat at a high top. Food wasn't exactly memorable but everyone loved the tacos and fries. Really, really poor service. Food and drinks were ok but definitely not what you would expect from the Miramar. Went to have lunch and a drink at the beach bar after a business meeting. Welcome was nice by the 2 ladies at the beach desk, but that's where the service ended. The waitress with the big butterfly tattoo on her leg never smiled once, and seemed like she really hated her job. Never introduced herself, never checked back on me after receiving food, never thanked me when bringing the bill, never said goodbye. All why Brody (I heard him introduce himself) was giving outstanding service and smiles to the table next to me. Management should really manage and train their staff better and see the poor service being given by certain servers. I am a SB local and honestly, wouldn't go back to the beach bar due to that bad experience. Shame on you Miramar, you should be better. read more

Ocean front white water waves are in full view from the top deck of this loungey bar where the comfy chairs are situated to strategically face the views of the true blue waters, LoL! You must cross the rail road tracks on the grounds to get to this ocean side building from the resort. Lots of sunny or covered and shaded seating on this outdoor deck. Of course, I always opt for the SHADE (no UVA or skin damage for me, LoL)!! Aka shady lady.. Plenty of cocktail options and 2 pages of fresh gourmet light bites, ceviche, tacos, or a burger. My seared halibut tacos were light, fresh, citrusy, delightful with the pickled onions, micro greens, and specialty made sauces. Please keep in mind that they are very small sized portions. Quality, not quantity when dining here.. Conveniently open for afternoon delights. Service was wonderful, no rsvp needed, first come first serve. Obviously, note that it gets very crowded on weekends. The stairs towards the lower deck are where Caruso's (open for dinner only) & restrooms are located. read more

Can't beat the location or setting - beachfront, overlooking beautiful Miramar beach. Right above the award-winning Caruso's restaurant, in front of the gorgeous luxury Rosewood Miramar Beach Hotel. We came at sunset for drinks with our dear friend who lives nearby and knew almost every local we walked by at the hotel. Drinks are not cheap (about $24 for a cocktail). But, exquisitely made. I had the Penicillina (Cazadores Reposada tequila, honey, lemon, topped w/ mezcal float and garnished with sugared ginger), and it was wonderful. My friend had recently been enjoying some "shandys" with Australian friends, and they made her one with their craft pilsner and homemade lemonade - one of the best I've had. My husband had a lovely glass of red wine. Note that it can get a bit chilly with the ocean breeze, and last call may be about 7:30-7:45 pm; they close at 8 pm. Definitely worth a splurge to relax, enjoy the view and live the good life for a bit. read more
