After seeing Noina's nail design photos popping up on my Yelp feed for the longest time, I decided to finally schedule an appointment with her at her salon. Make sure to schedule your appointment a couple days in advance via phone or on the website, because Noina's skills are in high demand by other clientele. $35 for a gel manicure with a design that is one of a kind. I was in complete awe as I watched her skillfully pieced together a hibiscus design. Noina did such an amazing job and I am glad I was able to stop by before leaving the area. Update: It has been over 2 weeks since I received my manicure and despite dishwashing, cleaning, playing sports, digging through my purse, etc, my manicure has not chipped and the floral design remains intact. I went to Mirror Mirror for the first time today after reading all the positive reviews on Yelp. Tina did my Gel Manicure and Elaine did my Classic Pedicure. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming including the receptionist (I did not catch her name). Scheduling an appointment was easy online the night prior, there was no wait time once I arrived, the service was wonderful, very clean environment, TONS of polish colors to chose from, prices are reasonable, staff was very helpful and polite, and my nails turned out great. I always come here to get my nails done by Noina but she does get booked because she's really good! So I suggest calling to make your appt. at least 2-3 weeks ahead of time. Noina doesn't just "do your nails" she's an Artist. Bring a picture of your design; she's got you!! Stephanie was amazing, I got a classic pedi, and she was really relaxed, and didn't seems like she was rushing me like most nail salons. I like that. Just got a pedi here. Elaine did a good job. She was really careful with my cuticles and got em all. I think it freaked them out a little because I have eczema on my feet and they think it's contagious probably. I often wish salons were more caught up on what actually constitutes as a disease--- I get really self conscious because they make a HUGE deal out of eczema or psoriasis, which aren't contagious. Makes me wonder how they keep passing the state board's sanitation and disease tests They're really clean and everything seems sanitized well though. So good news there. BUT... why no jets in the pedicure chairs? The chair is equipped for it... Weird. Also the polish job isn't that great. They don't use very good base coats and top coats. I got a pedi 6 hours ago and it still hasn't dried. Overall it was okay. I probably won't come back for another pedi though. read more

So I've been debating this review but okay. The salon is super clean, the receptionist and Stephanie were so nice and so was Noina! I really wanted to book with her but she isn't accepting new clients So they booked me with Hannah for my usual gel rebase, I sat down she didn't greet me (maybe cause she was on the phone the whole time) On a scale of 1-10 her attitude is -3000. But I was like ok whatever.. She did them and they were very thick to the point the bubbled almost..also they were crooked, I pointed it out to her and she huffed and puffed and attempted to fix. But I still tipped her very well. I went home and reshaped myself. A few days later two nails broke, I came in to get them fixed and get a pedi and that was ok. Then came in for my next fill and still a bad attitude, when she filled my nails the acrylic was lumpy. I still tipped her generously though. Still misshaped so I had to shape them myself again when I got home. About two days later, two of my nails broke. They charge for broken nails so I decided to just stick it out and wait till I need a fill. Overall, store is clean, staff is beyond friendly , I'm genuinely upset I have to find a new nail salon because I love the vibe there very much. I think Hannah just needs more training on customer service and proper nail techniques. I swear by Dawn O'Keefe's skilled hands and sing her praises wherever I go! I started going to Dawn when she was still a student and from the beginning I've been in good hands. When she took over my hair I had dish water blonde hair that was in the middle of growing out from a very short style (and had grown into a ridiculous mullet) and turned it to a light blonde bob and it's only gotten better from there. This is a review about Noina's eyebrow design at Mirror Mirror. I believe Noina is a true artist of many beauty trades. I've been going to her for a long time for my nails. Through that time, I learned she has other services to offer. Nails, pedicures, waxing, eyebrow design and more. The more I frequented Noina, the more I realized this person is someone who takes great pride in her work. A master of perfection! Midsummer last year something happened to me. I don't know why, but my eyebrows just started falling out. Large pieces at a time. I was losing my mind, freaking out, I don't want to be an old lady with no eyebrows. Suddenly chucks of normal hair were there and gone. I called Mirror Mirror and wanted the soonest appointment possible. I was told Noina would call me back. She did. She asked me questions- what are you doing tomorrow? What are you doing this weekend? What are you doing for the next two weeks? At first I was confused. I needed my eyebrows fixed immediately!! But through the conversation I realized she was trying to protect me and this big decision to have permanent makeup eyebrows and make sure it was the right time for me. Can't go in the sun. Can't go to the lake. It needs to be the right time. She didn't just want my money. She wanted her work to make me happy and turn out right. So - I waited. Five months forward. I trusted Noina more than ever at this point. I've seen more of her art, (paintings and all!), she is a perfectionist. Perfect. I finally scheduled my eyebrow design appointment for December 3. I arrive, and immediately Noina applies a gel to my eyebrows. I was having my nails done prior. (Side note- Tina is the bomb!) Halfway through nails getting done she applies another coat of numbing gel to my eyebrows. Finally my nails were done and it was time for my permanent makeup "eyebrow design by Noina." Noina is just so calm. She drew on the shape my new perfect eyebrows would be. Asked me to walk around the salon and catch glimpses of myself in the plentiful mirrors. And I did. And one patron asked what I was doing (walking around staring at myself in mirrors), and I told her I was about to get permanent eyebrows. She looked at the drawn in ones Noina did and confirmed my thought. These drawn in eyebrows are perfect. Noina did some color matching to my hair via blobs of dye placed on my forehead. And I chose the one I wanted and she was thinking that was right for me as well. The process of getting permanent eyebrows isn't fun. She goes over it 10 times to make sure the colors stays. She is meticulous with her work and I was glad for the numbing gel applied prior. I went to work the next day and nobody noticed I hadn't drawn my eyebrows on. I saw my mom, she didn't even notice I had gotten permanent makeup eyebrows. Noina is that good. I am very happy and excited for my new eyebrows and I highly recommend Noina for this. I have a touch up with Noina after Christmas. I will post again then. Aftercare is easy. Don't go in the sun. Use Aquafor daily, (keep brows moist to hold color). And my personal advice, wash your face, not eyebrows, last! when showering. Aquafor warm runs and gets in eyes. I give Noina's eyebrow design 10 stars. I don't regret a thing.
