I don't have access to social media, so I ended up finding Brooke through Yelp and I am SO happy I did! I reached out to her by text and she responded almost immediately. Before my appointment, I sent her a photo of my current hair along with a few inspiration pictures of what I was hoping to achieve. Right from the beginning, communication was easy and I felt like she understood what I was looking for. The salon itself is adorable clean, welcoming, and has a really cute modern feel. When I met Brooke, she took the time to actually look at my hair and talk with me about my goals. One of the most important things to me is keeping my hair healthy because I'm trying to grow it long which has taken some time. She was very upfront that getting exactly where I ultimately want to be would be a process, and I REALLY appreciated that instead of trying to do too much in one appointment. She respected the integrity and health of my hair while still getting me incredibly close to my inspiration photos. Brooke was also just genuinely nice and easy to talk to. The entire appointment was comfortable, relax and I was in and out in about three hours, which was another huge plus. She's also only about a 15-minute drive from my house, so finding someone this close who I actually trust with my hair feels like hitting the jackpot! Her pricing was very affordable, but to be completely honest, the quality of her work was beyond! If you're looking for someone who listens to what you want, is realistic about the process, cares about maintaining the health and integrity of your hair, and can actually deliver what you show her in an inspiration photo, go see Brooke. Charlene handled my hair and Launa did my makeup, and together they nailed it. Charlene guided me on adding curl but not too much volume. I was very happy with the result. Launa's makeup was equally awesome. She made me feel put together without my makeup being heavy or overdone. It held up beautifully through a long evening and I received a lot of compliments. Both ladies were professional, warm, attentive, and invested in making sure I loved the final result. They listened to what I wanted and delivered just that. I left feeling confident, beautiful, and ready for a gorgeous wedding. After washing and straightening my hair at home, I discovered the cut was noticeably choppy and uneven (photos attached). The appointment had started late and became rushed so I initially gave the stylist the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was simply an unfortunate one off. I reached out privately and was very cordial. I asked only for the haircut portion to be refunded, not the blowout or the two products I purchased. I even told her I loved the blowout and had planned to return for another. She apologized and acknowledged the haircut was concerning but repeatedly asked me to return so she could examine and correct it. Because I'm getting married in six weeks and will already need to lose additional length to fix the cut I politely declined and said I was more comfortable having my regular stylist correct it. Instead of refunding the haircut, I was offered three free blowouts. I don't regularly get blowouts, so I politely declined again and reiterated my request for a refund of ONLY the haircut. Unfortunately, what disappointed me most wasn't the mistake itself because mistakes happen. It was how a reasonable request was handled after the fact. I gave multiple opportunities to resolve this privately and fairly and have not been refunded. I'm sharing this because I wish I had done more research beforehand, and others deserve to make an informed decision based on my experience. Additionally, I discovered this kind of behavior is actually common for this specific salon and owner, Lauren. I didn't plan to share this but after learning this is common behavior and bully tactics had been leveraged towards others in the past for speaking up, I didn't feel right not sharing my experience. Update: I was never informed at the time of service my cut was not "finished" since I assume when the cape is removed and I pay, it's done. Please be sure to confirm with your stylist the cut is finished before you pay and leave. I've since considered my haircut charge a donation towards future learning opportunities for the Master stylist at this salon. I also added the text exchange for full transparency since the owner has decided to alter the narrative.

In Reference to Mengru L. Oh Hi Zoey, So I do recall your appointment day...you showed up late and you were on the phone setting up a job interview. I still waited 10 mins until you were done. I asked what style lash you were looking for, and if you EVER had them done before, which then you replied, You've never had them done before and you were looking for a classic/natural look, so you can't tell you have extensions. I did just that. It did NOT take 3.5 hrs to do your full set! That was a lie! Full set takes up to 2 hrs and fill takes 1.5hrs. When we were done at the 2 hr mark (which technically was only 1hr 50mins due to you showing up late and phone call) you said you didn't like how you looked. Didn't like them! I did exactly what you asked for. So my partner stepped in, and guess what she did...she added more lashes and they were much longer than the "natural look" you were going for. Then you mentioned that you were getting compliments. It's unfair to say that someone is not skilled enough to get paid when you have never had the service done in the past and what you are doing to peoples businesses, just making up lies b/c you had a bad day, is not ok! You're credibility should be questioned, On here and in real life! read more

I love this place!!! Just discovered this hidden gem in the middle of Murrieta and this is going to be my go to beauty place forever now. Stephanie did my gel manicure which came out perfectly. No chipping or peeling or any of the crap I feel like continuously happens at everywhere else I've been. THEY HAVE SO MANY POLISH OPTIONS! It's amazing. Not to mention they were telling me about all kind of design options they have...flowers and rhinestones are cool, but foil and stamping is better. You have no idea. All of the girls here seem really cool and down to earth. No snooty bitches here, which is a big deal to me. I freaking hate it when people look down their noses at you and you're pretty certain that they'll be talking about you after you leave. To top it all off the salon is really clean. Like really really clean. They use new supplies with everyone and even throw liners in the pedicure sinks/blows so that you don't have to worry about catching someone else's grossness. I have been coming to Noina for pedicures for the past 4 years. I appreciate that I can make an appointment and not have to wait hours to have my pedicure done because the business takes too many walk-ins. I recently had my eyebrows micro bladed because I almost had no eyebrows and I dreaded penciling them in everyday. I was apprehensive at first, but she reassured me and explained the whole process to me. She even had me speak with others who had had their eyebrows micro bladed. After speaking to a few people, I had Noina do mine. I love my eyebrows! No more dealing with smudged eyebrow pencil! Noina is a true artist! She knows what she is doing. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. I have had people I know say that I look great, but they can't quite figure out what is different. Noina's work on my eyebrows reshaped and defined my face. I am so pleased! Noina's nail artistry is amazing, too. I have seen her work with eyelashes, as well as her nail artistry. Her staff is great, too. read more

Stopped by slightly afraid because they don't have many reviews about waxing but great reviews as far as everything else goes. I had no reason to be worried, Noina did an excellent job. She was very quick and professional. Fantastic service. While we were talking I mentioned that I was new here and was looking for a new place to have my waxing done and haircuts etc. As soon as she was done she introduced me to one of the stylists in the salon named Janet who specializes in men's cuts. She squeezed me in for a last minute hair appointment. Another fantastic job! Best scalp massage I've ever had and my haircut is perfect. Janet is gives better haircuts than some barbers I've been to. I don't know why more salons and spas can't be like this place. I'll be going here as long as I'm within a few hours drive. read more

Mirror Mirror Salon is the best in Murrieta. The salon is clean and beautiful and full service (they do gel manicures, and pedicures, hair color, highlights, Brazilian blowouts, facials, etc). Every hair stylist is great so there's no need to be worried about how your hair is going to turn out. The girls at the front desk are so nice. If you need anything don't be afraid to ask. I suggest making an appointment but they do take walk ins. Besides hair they do full service nails (with the big pedicure chairs and everything) and waxing and facials and makeup and spray tanning. If you're looking for a new salon I definitely suggest giving Mirror Mirror a try. And even if you're not looking for a new salon, if your old salon, beauty tech, etc wasn't the best or you want to try something new go to Mirror Mirror! read more

Love this Salon! Very clean, organized and friendly. Not to mention my hair dresser Anna Williams she is the best hair dresser I have had in years. Whatever I ask for she gets it right on the nose. My hair has been at its healthiest since going to her. No more crazy hairs from breakage and split ends due to chemical damage. I would follow Anna anywhere she goes. If you want great color, great style and healthy hair try her out. I promise my gray coverage/color & highlights look the BEST EVER!!! I get compliments all the time. I've been going to Rebekah for a while now and she never disappoints. She is an incredible nail technician who listen to you and genuinely cares that I leave happy with the end result. Took my girlfriend here to get a Brazilian blowout, she loved it. Tristin Mustard is a very knowledgeable and super nice hair stylist. If she can tame that wild hair of my girl, I would think she could do anything else under the sun. In the other hand, the salon is neat and comfortable, even for a guy. Nice clean black and gray decor, modern music. They also have some kinds of market in the same lot so you can take the lunch while waiting. This is an incredible salon in Murrieta!!! Everything is clean and new and really just beautiful, and all of the stylists and manicurists are fantastic. They offer hair services, nail services, waxing, facials, lash extensions, and so much more. Did I mention they have a wall of nail polishes. A. Whole. Wall. You have no idea. There isn't really a place to begin with how convenient and amazing this ONE STOP shop is. From a simple manicure, gel, pedi, hair (cut & color), waxing, lashes, you name it; they most likely will do it! You want design on your nails? She provides more than Pinterest provides. Some of the sweetest staff I have come across in a nail shop, and everyone speaks English. The owner is incredibly pleasant and easy to talk to. She makes you feel comfortable and welcome right away and you can tell she really cares about her work. Nothing feels rushed or transactional. The salon itself is super clean, modern, and just has a really good vibe overall. Everything feels well-kept and professional. Prices are also very reasonable for the quality you're getting, which is hard to find. Highly recommend!! Not just for brows, but for everything she offers.

I felt comfortable enough with her that if I had know she had forgot I would have reminded her and I know she would have been happy I did. Sometimes you feel like you can't even talk to your provider but she seemed genuinely interested in our conversation about faith and family and the future. I had ripped off the corner of my big toe nail the day before mine and my husband's couples pedicure. She painted over the skin area several coats so it looked like part of my actual nail. Loved it.
